Subs here are good. I love the Italian Sausage and Salami Subs. The are FIRE.French fries are decent too. Not so high in price either, and the portions are huge. My girlfriend gets something small now, because she cannot eat as much as I can. She gets full too fast, so you cannot eat like a bird coming here. Anyhow, love the food, and the people are nice too. I've passed this place for years and never thought to try it. The seeded hero is a must for the bread choice. They have some options for sandwiches, but for my first time I went with a simple honey turkey and cheese and added salsalito. I got spice ham and cheese for my mom. The sandwiches are more expensive than your average deli but it's well worth it. Boars head only at this spot (at least from what I peeped). Customer service was on point as well. read more

I really had a taste for a Bodega sandwich in it seems like it will be easy to find, but so many of the corner stores make crappy sandwiches these days. I was luckily in the area of Brooklyn sub. It was fairly quiet when interred with only a few customers milling and a delivery man on his way out the door. Like some of the other said the store was really clean and the guys in the back were ready to roll. The guy took my order in May the sandwich quickly and for the 1st time I wasn't asked whether I wanted salt, pepper, vinegar or oil. I shrugged it off, tipped the nice man, took my sandwich to the front and cashed out. Ringing in at $9, it was a little pricier than some of the other delis that I've been to and sandwich felt a little lighter. But hey, I wanted a good sandwich. I waited to eat until I got home and was glad the sandwich held up. I took a bite, and it was a really solid sando. Fresh and well-constructed. The bread was amazing. Good spot if you are in the mood for a late night sub. Only down side is that they shut off the grill early on weekdays so you can't get a hot sandwich after 8:00 on a weekday. Be sure to get the hoagie bread and not on a roll. read more

Although I still live close to this spot I don't frequent it as often as I did when I worked in the neighborhood as well. So during the holiday break I decided to stop in for my second fav sandwich I like to recreate breaded chicken, cheese, mayo, lettuce, pickles and ketchup...HOT! I just got home and showered and can't contain myself. This is the best sandwich that I have ever split with one of my best friends in my LIFE! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I WANT TO LIVE IN BROOKLYN SUB. No joke. The only things you need to know is that they can put almost anything you want on to a sandwich for a ridiculously cheap amount of money and that they turn off their grills by 6pm. I almost don't even know what the hell we got because Ingrid hasn't really eaten in like 2-3 days from stress. BUT Zaneta I think got a sub sandwich with sesame seed bun with jerk turkey or smoked jerk turkey of some sorts with jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, tiny bit of mayo, vinegar & oil, and jalapenos. Lots of freaking jalapenos. And I got another beer and plopped down and poured that dog fish head into a styrofoam cup. I say that I can live here because they have everything you could ever want and bare with me I have a photogenic memory: toilet paper, towels, advil, sanitary pads, cat/dog food, fresh fruit!, mixers, amy's soup, oreos, amy's organic bunny & the parmesan mac & cheese, gold fish crackers, ramen noodles, kraft dinner, cereals, organic cookies, chips ahoy, pepperidge farm, those hazelnut pieruette twirl cookies you dip in coffee that are amazing, a million kinds of chips/nuts: including party mix with both sun chips, dorritos & cheetos. You've got to be kidding me. I can seriously keep going. I have issues. But I also want to live in this store. It's the best thing since Jesus. Also, WAY fresher than Subway and doesn't make me want to vomit after ingesting it. Two thumbs up. Zaneta would also like to thank me for remembering that this exists after I exclaimed I was hungry after losing tremendously in an arousing game of pub trivia at St. Catherine's. I placed an ubereats order from Brooklyn Sub and when I got it, I was so disappointed. It was your regular bodega sub you would get from any other place. It is clear that during the night, the sub section of the store is closed and the store itself makes that subs. The bread was not the regular poppy seed toasted delicious bread that you normally get during the day. It was your regular hero bread that you can get at any given time. If they can not produce the same quality sandwich that you get during the day, then they should not make subs at night. Better yet, you should not be on ubereats advertising a great sub when your only providing a basic sub. read more

First and foremost, this place is CLEAN. You can see everything over the deli counter, and it's always clean. The store isn't crowded with aisles like most delis and corner stores. My boyfriend and I like to call David (who, from what I can tell, often works the deli evenings and late nights) the sandwich doctor...he makes a mean sandwich (loads it with meat and chees3) and is extremely polite and friendly. He makes this an awesome deli, in my opinion, and it's now my go-to for sandwiches. I've had some other guys make a sandwich when I came during the day, and it just wasnt the same, although still very good. Great variety, all Boar's Head products, more cheeses than most delis, bread is always soft, shredded lettuce. Oh, and a surprising variety of beer and ice cream! read more

This place is the best sub shop I've been into in a while toppings where good. Toppings are not like subway or potbelly in variety but I'd rather support this sub shop than any other sub chain store. I live 2 blocks from subway and drove 12 minutes here. I ordered honey Ham sub with extra lettuce, sweet peppers, hot pepper slices, 3 pepper cheese, pickles, and olives. All toasted. The sub was fantastic and the customer service was great and It costed 7.50. read more

Late on a weeknight in Prospect Heights I was searching for take-away food and this popped up on Yelp. From the outside, this place looks like your average corner deli in Brooklyn, but if you enter and walk to the back of the store, they have a sandwich counter with a fair number of options (you can also create your own order) and some seating. I ordered an on-special Boars Head chicken breast hero, which was completed within a few minutes and only $7.50. I worked at a deli in high school, and am a pretty critical consumer of sandwiches, but I was pleased to get home to discover what was a very good sandwich. The hero bread was still fresh, and the ratio of meat, cheese, veggies, and dressing was perfect. I'd definitely return if I was in the area. read more

Very delicious subs, way better than the subways. Only fresh ingredients are used and the sizes of the sandwiches are huge. Cheesesteaks are the best there. prices are on average, not more expensive than in subways, however the sandwiches are made with more care and talent. read more
