Reviewing the list of wine and spirits, it would match just about any restaurant in Portland or San Francisco. Many wine selections from around the world, and one of the longest list of spirits I've seen. Even the wines by the glass offered a good selection. Our waiter was Reed, and he was pleasant, helpful and professional. I had a flank steak, my wife the tuna dish. We supplemented these with the brussels sprouts, made with a unique topping, as well as the creamy mashed potatoes. Both almost a meal by themselves. My steak was done perfectly and cooked on an open fire to add to the taste. If you are looking for a great meal in Bend, don't miss out on The Hudson.

For my part I ordered Loaded Nachos for the table and an Original Burger for myself. The Original Burger might be the best plain burger in Central Oregon. It consists of a large perfectly seasoned patty of ground beef (probably 80/20 to provide the real hamburger flavor), a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion in a nice bun. The house made chips were crispy. On the downside, the Loaded Nachos did not live up to expectations because they were far from loaded and the cheese was cold. The menu was small; but, there are at least a couple more items that I wish to try and I will definitely go back for another Original Burger.

Balcony seating upstairs. - Extensive tap list. Wine and booze not so much. - The place is not as loud as it could be. I understand the owners paid attention to acoustics but there's only so much you can do with a large open space full of people. Music was thankfully muted. - Small, gender-neutral restroom downstairs. Given the size of the place, it needed to be bigger. Didn't check to see if there's one upstairs. - Service seated at the bar was just fine but we noticed the two walk-up registers to order drinks had long lines a couple times. - No coat hooks under the bar for bags, jackets. Come winter, that will be an issue. - Bar seats look nice but are a bit flimsy. - We didn't patronize any of the food trucks but the variety seems good, once they all open that is. - Parking lot is woefully undersized. All in all, good and maybe they'll work out the service issues.

I was unprepared then for their gigantic and amazing main brewery. The industrial building is mostly hidden my verdant gardens and local art outside. It's so happy and welcoming. Inside you can immediately see the tanks at the back, with a large bar to the left. Merchandise shop is at the front, with tables all around. The bartender was so friendly and welcoming. I talked to some brewers after their shift and they were just as friendly, albeit tired and ready to relax. Their beers are excellent, and I only wished I could've physically enjoyed more! I highly recommend a visit!

There were a bunch of locals hanging out and they were treated like royalty. I had to practically beg for my drinks and my money sat on the counter for a good 15 minutes while the server ran around, attending to every other customer in the space except me. So if you're a local, I'm sure you'll love it here. It's bougie and snooty. Not my vibe. I ended up going to The Gallery a few blocks down and was treated with immaculate service and kindness, which made me feel right at home there. Every server in the space checked on me at least once to make sure I had everything I needed at every moment. Definitely cannot say that about the service I received at the ski Inn. I was treated like a subpar citizen. Won't be back.
