    Patriot Waffle

We ate at Brookside a lot during the pandemic - they had a tent in their driveway and we could reliably get a seat there. This was our first time inside and it was really cute! The inside is a pretty blue color. Really homey. We went here on Patriots day and that resulted in needing to try the Patriot waffle. And it was the star of the show. It smelled beautifully of Vanilla and was really a wonderful treat. We saw our waitress taking a picture of it before she served it to us which gave us a chuckle. We also got egg breakfasts that were fine. My husband didn't like the coffee, but I overall enjoyed the experience. The servers have always been really nice here. It's not like earth shattering, but it's a pleasant diner with decent food. There is a lot of easy street parking as well as a small lot in back. It's across from a public park if you want to walk off your breakfast afterward.

What an adorable and great find. A great selection of breakfast items. I got poached eggs with their homemade corned beef hash and hollandaise on the side. A hugh portion! Coffee was very tasty and most places have a burnt coffee taste - not this place. Very busy for a Friday morning at 8:30 but staff were quick and efficient. I don't live near here but I would highly recommend! If I had to say "what was missing", maybe homemade muffins on display! I love a grilled muffin! I would not be able to eat a muffin along with this hugh breakfast but I like to think that I can.

Almost perfect breakfast! My picky husband loves their western omelet! Perfect flavor and fluffy texture! Excellent crispy home fries! My Beni is really good, but I only wish the use fresh Spinach instead frozen one. Service was easy, quick, and friendly. The place is also clean, bright, and very family-oriented! You won't regret if you decide to com

This place is very warm and friendly. The food is awesome but the service is the best. The girls are all very quick and do an amazing job when the place is packed on a Saturday morning. I have moved away, but will drive back into town to enjoy the homemade corn beef scrambled egg special with jalapeños.

parking - we pulled up across the from the restaurant. there's plenty of free on street parking. the restaurant does have a parking lot behind the building but we found that parking on the street was easier. ambiance - stopped in for a late breakfast at lunch time. the place was pretty full, one of the friendly servers told us we can sit anywhere we like. we grabbed a booth which still had plexi glass on top of the bench to separate us from the table adjacent. food - we both ordered eggs benedict and a short stack of pancakes to share. both plates of benedict were overcooked. the eggs were basically hard boiled eggs but in a poached form, i uploaded a few pics for reference. the home fries were good; lightly seasoned and slightly crispy.

Breakfast Bowl with over medium eggs and rye toast

Yummy! I've gotten takeout from here a few times and it's been really good thus far. I've tried their eggs Benedict with veggies, everything was on point except the hollandaise was a little runny. Also tried the brown eyed Suzy. The bread was kind of sweet for me (wasn't expecting it to be like that, but that's on me) but good nonetheless. Today I had my favorite thus far -- breakfast bowl with over medium eggs and rye toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were nice and cheesy. This cafe is a solid choice that I will certainly have many more times

Today was my second time ordering breakfast from here. I ordered a make your own omelette w/ bacon, provolone cheese, and spinach which came w/ tater tots and an English muffin. My food was ready in a timely manner. They definitely overdid it with the bacon, it was just way too much. I also didn't like that my English muffin had butter on it and the fact that my food was greasy overall but I was hungry and it did the job.

It's colorful, it's groovy, it's bright, it's nostalgic. Even the employees are wearing shirts with funky themes and patterns. There are TVs showing shows from back then. The floors are checkered, the ceiling is silver, the chairs are red and the tables are blue. We were seated at a booth, which can more than comfortably sit 4-6 people. The menu is HUGE, think cheesecake factory but for a diner. There's a little bit of everything but the font and everything around it makes it hard to focus on what each item is. I went very simple and chose the Simon and Garfunkel which included two pancakes or French toast, two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, toast, and home fries for $18.99. After about 15 minutes, our food came out. The bacon could have been crispier, with some parts being wobbly. The sausage was thick, juicy, and savory. The potatoes were a little bland and mushy on the outside. The eggs were cooked medium, just how I requested them, and the englush muffin was a little different than your traditional ones since it didn't have the little pockets of air but it was still good. The French toast was moist, but I wish it had more cinnamon - the egg was the dominant flavor. Overall, it was a very satisfying breakfast. There is plenty of parking as it's in a plaza

Well I've eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants here and in Greece and this is one of the best places I've ever been to, to have a good sit down Greek meal. Where I live there are great restaurants for any type of cuisine you can imagine and a great Greek restaurant but the one near me is more like the best fast food in Greece. (A gyro wrap is the most traditional Greek fast food you can get). If people every ask me where to go to try other great Greek dishes, I will tell them to go there, 10 minutes from where I live and and on the eat home come by and drop off their left overs. They accommodated us for a table of 7 and although it can be a bit loud, you can still talk to anyone in your party. But i would recommend getting a reservation so you don't have to rely on luck like we did. The prices might be a little higher than some of your typical sit down restaurants, but worth every penny.
