It was so delicious, I could tell the second I sipped it that they squeeze it themselves. It came in a cute mason jar with a fresh orange slice on the rim. So delicious. For breakfast I got the Nutella Belgian waffle which came with strawberries and bananas. I am still thinking about this meal. This is one of my favorite breakfast dishes I've ever had. I also got the croissant sandwich with ham and that was absolutely incredible as well. Came with home fries and served on a fresh crossaint. My two friends both loved their meals too. All 3 of us scraped our plates clean by the end. They also have a function room that has its own separate space, but also easily accessed directly from the main restaurant area. Positives: Service was decent. Waiter and the host were efficient at their jobs. Food was good. I ordered a build your own omelet which came with hash browns and toast. I was full when I was finished eating. Negatives: It's a small place so there can be a long wait at times. I would recommend calling ahead. There is limited parking at the restaurant Parking lot can be full. In particular there is an event in the function room. I was able to get one of the few available parking spots left behind town hall. Otherwise I probably would have to park on a side street a few blocks away from the restaurant. They charge more for customers that use credit card. I used cash to save a few bucks. Overall I would come back here. But when it is less crowded. read more

After a local youth football game searched for a breakfast spot and the locals all praised this place so we had to go! A large menu with a lot of items caught my attention but you can't not order pancakes from a breakfast place! They did NOT disappoint! They were the fluffiest pancakes I had ever had! The French toast was pretty basic. The hash browns were perfectly seasoned yet I've never gotten such small portions especially compared to the rest of the plate it was as if they fell off the plate but was too late to redo everything. The food was definitely worth another visit although some of the prices were outrageous (orange juice $6+, side of bacon $6+, etc). Decided to rent this place for my bridal shower as they have a separate area for private functions/events and it was absolutely perfect! Aline was great with communication throughout the process. The brunch spread (which I didn't get a picture of) featured a lot of breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, a beautiful display of fruit, pastries, coffee/teas, etc.) They even provide the tablecloths and chair covers which was very clutch. Natalia was a fantastic day-of host making sure we had all the things we needed and then some! When you walk in it's so cozy, it has a homey vibe. The orange juice is so fresh, it is freshly squeezed in house and the flavor shows. We've been here twice and the service has been great, they are polite they check in often and are knowledgeable of the dishes. I had the breakfast tacos they were pretty good. It came with a side of home fries, salsa and sour cream. The Connection Burger was juicy it came with a pickle on the side. The pancakes as you can see in the photo are tall and fluffy. I want to give a special shoutout to one of my favorite restaurants in the Greater Boston area. I've dined in person at The Connection Cafe at least 25 times since the Pandemic and ordered out at least 10 times. The portions here are HUGE and the prices are more than reasonable. I often tip the servers closer to 30 to 35 % because the prices are so good. I used to get the the Big Breakfast 1 (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage patties, homefries and toast) for $12 but I recently stopped because I could never finish it all. Now I just get the (3) pancakes which is $8 and a side of bacon if I'm dining in. If I order out, I usually get the bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, and of course they toss a bunch of homefries for free which comes to $9. I will say that they close at 2pm these days and it can get very busy if you're dining in. Their service is often friendly and I believe it's family owned. If you're in the south shore definitely go to The Cafe Connection!! read more

Stopped in on Mother's Day for a quick breakfast to take on the go. Staff greeted us right away, and were welcoming and friendly. We placed our order for two breakfast sandwiches to go and added home fries which was only an additional $1.50. We waited about 15 minutes until a to ho order came out from the kitchen and was placed on a table behind the hostess table. No one checked the bag or called our name for the order, which was interesting seeing how there was a young man standing there the whole time. After a couple of minutes and with a pretty good hunch that the bag was our order we approached and asked, and sure enough it was ours. The young man was apologetic and gathered us some utensils and ketchup after we asked. The home fries were a bit bland, crispy on one side but not the other sides. Let's just say we were thankful that we had ketchup to put on them. The breakfast sandwich was good, and consisted of two fried eggs, American cheese, and bacon. It's good that you can make better at home. Eggs were watery, and made me nauseous. Boyfriend got sunny side eggs with bacon and sausage. Only gluten free thing they had is an English muffin. Do not recommend for anyone with celiacs, everything would be cross-contaminated. Ok. A rather poor start. The parking lot is large but crowded. Hard to get in or out. One of our party had a minor fender scrape getting in. Next we were served terrible coffee. Not sure if too strong ( like Starbucks but not this stuff) or just old. But it was just terrible. Needed extra cream and sweetener. Also a large sugar pourer in the table but no artificial sweetener. Had to ask for it. We had five people so they gave us a table with leaves. It is normally square but leaves go up to make a larger round table. Ok. But the leaves didn't go up fully. One person had to put her food on the main part and lean over the leaf so the food wouldn't fall into her lap. We told the manager but she just said yes it's the type of table. I know she cannot fix it now (or could she maybe with a paper or something). But she seemed somewhat dismissive. Finally the food. It was ok. My potatoes were obviously frozen from a bag. They were ok. I asked for them fryolated and I believe they were. I also asked for my omelette to be less cooked. The waitperson indicated she heard me. However they were not. They were overdone for me. Not terrible and I ate it. But eh. My wife also said here food was ok. Edible but not great. Ok. I will say the service was good. They brought coffee around often (I know. But with lots of cream and sweeteners it too some bite off). The prices were also rather low for what we got. So someone else may have a better experience than we did. This place is fantastic! I just came from having breakfast here. I pulled into the parking lot which is an ok size. I purposely went a little later than normal breakfast hours as I have seen a few customers outside waiting to be seated. I had no wait at 11:30. Was seated right away and had a menu and coffee in from of me in less than a minute. The menu is great. Lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. I ended up getting the #1. It came with pancakes that were cooked light, fluffy and delicious. Home fries that were just as good and not loaded with salt. Bacon, sausages (links or patties) and toast. 2 eggs any way you want them. Pancakes had a dollop of butter on them and a small covering of confectionery sugar. Beautiful presentation and absolutely scrumptious!!! Waitress's was wicked polite and attentive. Came over a few times to ask how everything was and to refill my coffee. Specials written on a chalkboard by the door and super cute saying all over and on every table. Nice touch! Light music playing in the background. Two TV's. Super clean. There was a party of 7 seated while I was there and was only there for about two minutes before the owner?/manager? Came out to make sure they were getting all they needed. My two kids and I went there yesterday for a late breakfast and the coffee and food was delicious. My youngest got a Mickey pancake with bacon and apple juice. The pancake was so big she wasn't able to finish without her older brothers assistance. My daughter loved that the cafe provided chalkboards and chalk vs the typical crayons and paper at most establishments. **Keep in mind that chalk is messy so if you worried about keeping clothing clean you may want to bring something else to entertain your child** My son ordered French toast and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Not the place to go if you want a decent breakfast the WAY you ordered it. I called & placed my pick up order for 2 eggs over hard, hash browns and cinnamon French toast. I pick up my order & go, few minutes later I open it up to find poached eggs not well done, basically yellow liquid in more liquid. So I call to return my order. When I do the lady says it will be ready in two minutes & before I can explain that I can't turn around just yet she hung up on me. So I'm like I'll call back when I'm actually on my way... I proceeded to open up the rest of the container only to find out they gave the entire order wrong. Prob someone else's. So I call them back, explain to another person why happened. Now when I finally do make it back in I repeat my order. Lady said they would rush it. They give me free fruit in a cup. They did initially offer a refund as well but I turned it down because I was there for a meal not money. Now I think I should of taken the cash back and I wasn't going to make this review because they corrected their mistake.... But NOPE! Finally I'm able to sit and eat and bam... my cinnamon French toast turned out to be croissant French toast with strawberry cream and strawberries. They earned this review. The room was beautiful and the food was hot and delicious. Susan and her staff deserve 10 stars. They were friendly, accommodating and met every special request with ease.
