Check engine light came on and they gladly took it in to their shop and replaced the mass air flow sensor, only to have the light come on again before I left. Their lead mechanic let me go with him to drive it with their computer hooked up to the truck and was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. At that point, he recommended a new fuel pump, which they ordered that day. They installed the new fuel Pump and also found one of the spark plug wires was bad and grounding out as well. They replaced ALL of my plug wires as a courtesy! Not gonna lie, I was Leary about purchasing a vehicle here at first, but we are thoroughly pleased with the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE from their service center!!! For this visit my service guy was pretty decent, and he walked me through all the requested service components and patiently broke down prices, and even sent over a video of the procedure afterward (oil change, brake inspection, etc). Not only had my oil been changed, and the new wipers I asked for installed, but they had vacuumed out my 11-year-old mom car so well, the carpet look new. They wiped the interior down as well. Yesterday, 7/8/26, we hit 5K miles, so time for another oil change. Went to my personal independent mechanic of over 20 years. Should have never gone to Royal Moore in December. The drain plug was cross threaded! It took my mechanic forever to get it out! As a result I now have to buy a new oil pan plus have 2hrs of labor to remove old pan and put in new one. My $79.99 oil change special at Royal Moore is now costing me $600 to fix. I will NEVER go to RM again, even if something is free. They literally SCREWED ME. How can an authorized Subaru repair facility do something SO stupid? I know they won't believe me and will day i had an oil change somewhere else in between 12/25 and 7/26, but not true. He was pale as a ghost and looked like he was on some serious meth. I believe in Equal Employment Opportunity but some people should be clean when working on vehicles because it can be dangerous. Case in point, I believe he is the one who worked on my vehicle. Fluids were all overfilled and I kept getting error codes lighting up my dashboard. Car never worked right after that. I kept bringing in my vehicle to have it looked at to no avail. Chris and Patrick would basically shrug their shoulders to my situation. I feel like they give better treatment to new cars than older ones. I'll give Chris a little credit because he tried to fix it himself and didn't charge me but in the end I had to give the car away because it was basically inoperable. Which sucks when you're out hundreds of dollars in "repairs" to them. I'm seeing lots of 5-star reviews from people with no profile picture and only 1 review which tells a lot right there. Take it from me an Honest Joe and spend your money on quality mechanics that believe in customer service and less on discrimination.

The after hours drop off and pick up is seamless and really easy, which I appreciated. They charged $300 to diagnose, which seemed high, but I didn't want to tow my car to another shop, so I accepted that. They got my car back to me five days later, and the alternator worked great but a dash light had come on for a bulb which was not burned out. I replaced the bulb but the light persisted. I asked the shop about looking at it, and I was advised well, we'll run some tests, which sounded to me like another $300 diagnosis. So, the alternator repair was good, but now I have a permanent dash light on until I can find a shop to take it to. All in all, I'd say they are an OK shop.
