This place is awesome I would trust my own mother going there! Not only were they fast and courteous, they were also professional and lower than anybody else when it came to cost. This is my new regular for sure. They explained everything to me and took the time to answer my questions. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. KS Auto was recommended by the manufacturer of our specialized steam cleaner that we use for mobile auto detailing. They answered on the first ring when I called to check if they had time to work on my car, and they started on my car as soon as I got there. I needed an oil change, light bulb replaced, and a general check before my road trip. They found a second bulb that was out and just charged another $5. The customer service was amazing, my car was done quickly, and it was affordable. Definitely recommend! read more

Great little local shop! I've been looking for a mechanic in the area that I could trust wouldn't take advantage of me with my lack of car knowledge. My check engine light went on and I called KS auto just an hour before closing. They told me I could bring my car in and they'd look at it next day! Don't go anywhere else. These guys have always been honest, upfront, and seem to recommend the best for me even if it doesn't mean them making any money. They seem to be able to do all things, body, oil changes, etc. You might have a little wait, but it's worth it. Trust these guys. read more

My parents have gone to KS auto for as long as I remember and now I do too. We have followed KS auto from their other location and we will keep following them. I've tried other places for cheaper oil changes and cheaper service but I keep going back. Their location is far from my house but they're always quick and easy to get an appointment. It's also convenient that majority of the workers are bilingual (they speak English, Spanish and Korean). A lot of mechanics tend to have a bad rep pushing unnecessary services added to your car but KS auto has always been honest with the status of my car and what I truly need. There's a lot of shopping centers nearby to help kill time or the workers are always nice and starting conversations. read more

I had a slight issue if one of the guys telling me after my estimate that I had to get the service done within a short time frame and I was unable to do it within that due to travel for work. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I've been taking my car here for years and they always give amazing, quick, and honest service. They are never pushy or dishonest about their work, which is rare to find in a mechanic. There was a miscommunication and some extra work was done on my car, but instead of fighting me or charging me extra, they went the extra mile and did right by me. I usually don't write reviews because I try to think every happening positive but this place this full of shi* and I don't even want to give them one star. I was in a car accident and processed the repair through insurance. I left my car there for 2 weeks and when I went to pick up the car they said they didn't fix the a/c because its winter and they didn't turn it on until the day I went to pick up the car. The next day, I get engine light come on and find driver side headlight off, and because I was going out of town I went back week after to get everything fix. They only fixed headlight and said it wasn't from the accident but they still fixed it, shouldn't they check everything before releasing the car?. So they don't check everything and just fix what was told to fix? They even requested additional paycheck to my insurance after they "found" more damaged parts. I know how body shops work. I have three friends that owns a body shop and a family member who owns a mechanic shop. Of course they say they are the honest body shop. But BULLSH*T. When I asked them to show invoice from the shop and not from the insurance they said there isn't one and I can just see it from insurance and told me they fixed this and that with new part when there are only given money for used part. Just because I can't open up my car and check they just say whatever they want to say. Don't go here like this place is literally scam, they probably had their friends give them the review but trust me, I was really close to suing this place and I know they are not gonna win. If you are looking for a bait and switch, this is definitely the place to come. Otherwise stay far away from this swindle of a mechanic! Called and made an appointment explicitly stating that our AC had stopped working AND that the check engine light had come on. After dropping off the car for more than 24 hours, they called and quoted us a price to "fix everything". Upon arriving upon completion of the service, we inquired about the check engine light, to which the manager said they had run a diagnostic and it would be an additional $250 to fix. We asked why this wasn't included within the quote to "fix everything" they had told us the day before, and the manager did not have a good answer, mumbling that many customers don't care if the check engine light was on.... even though that was PRECISELY why we had made the appointment. It was abundantly clear from the interaction that they were pulling a bait and switch on us, looking to get another $250 after what felt like a already slightly high quote for "fixing anything". Buyer beware of the service here, otherwise you may end up paying and not even get the actual service you requested in the first place. Will never be going back to KS again but learned our lesson the hard way. read more

My parents and I both bring our car in to this place. They are honest and don't try to upsell you on stuff you don't need. For example, I changed to synthetic oil there 2 weeks ago and today I brought my car in because I thought it had no oil in it and the check engine light was on. They showed me that it was full of oil. It turns out that the oil was so clean that I couldnt read it on the stick. Also they a code saying knock sensor. Not only did they not try to sell me a knock sensor, they didn't charge me for running the code either. And they told me, "What we worry about is the safety of our customers. The knock sensor doesn't need to be replaced unless it affects the drivability of your car. Since your car is running fine I wouldn't get it replaced unless it fails an emissions test." Then he went on to explain to me that unless the check engine light turns red instead of orange it's safe to drive. They have always been very honest with me. And they're not very expensive when they do repairs. I recommend them all the way. read more
