Avoid this business at all cost. Everything about this place is unethical. They partner with at least one local dealership and were hired for a windshield sealing issue/recall for my vehicle. After they performed the work, there was a crack in the windshield in the exact area they performed the work. I took the vehicle back to have it addressed and this company took ZERO responsibility and wrote on the invoice "something must have come up and hit the glass"...yeah, real professional there guys. This was apparently noted on my invoice by their owner "Noe". I previously posted a review and got a response from this company on this Yelp platform that I had the wrong company and that there was nobody there by the name of Noe. That's shady in and of itself because the address and phone number on invoice were correct and a simple google search does indeed show he is the owner (attached). What does that tell you about this place? The manager also asked that I reach out to her after I left previous review to try and have it removed. She admitted they contract directly with the dealership in question and once again refused to take responsibility for the damage they did to my vehicle. My windshield had a major crack and needed to be repaired. I got quotes and asked my dad if the cheapest one was reasonable and he told me to come here as they would charge the same. I agreed and was nervous after seeing some of the negative reviews here but all was fine. No problems with my windshield they replaced 2 weeks ago. The shop is small and not fancy but the did have a seating area. It was hard for me to find. The entrance is on the side of a building. I feel like I got ripped off at this place, I took my own glass for the pop out window of my 69 Vette and all they had to do was insert it inside the open frame, so as I watched they spent a few minutes scraping some of the rubber out of the frame with a razor blade and done. She told me it would be $100, I was shocked, I guess I should've asked beforehand but thinking it should be no more than $40 I didn't and nor did she tell me how much it was going to be beforehand. They purposely damage things to keep the "bad" parts and make you spend for new ones. 5 guys working there one after one came to me "wanting to fix" my regulator after being told it went bad. I fixed it myself, all i did was place the sliders back in place and there simple as that. All was simple but for the experts of 19 plus years they wanted more money. They had it in stock and he said he could replace it today. We took it in and it was done within 30 minutes. Great customer service! They were super affordable. Spend the extra money and go to a reputable location. After initial quote, which was lowest in town, i pulled out of the shop and immediately knew something was wrong. The windshield rattled audibly loud. I returned to the shop immediately requesting they address. They spent 30 minutes working on the car before telling me if was good to go. I pulled out and the rattle miraculously was worse. I had to return to work so i called and said i would be back. That night the car sat in the garage and in the morning had a stress crack in the corner where the noise was coming from. After being fed up and told they only warranty the labor, i took to the manufacturer authorized dealer where they told me the crack was from an incorrect installation or over-tightening causing a stress crack. The response was horrendous and Subaru is worried there is more damage. Our credit card company is going to resolve the issue with them. Do yourself a favor and go to high quality location where they wont screw your car up. Could not be more unhappy with the service and quality. read more

Don't go here! They gave a good quote compared to competitors but just pay the extra $50-60 to get quality service. They did fix the windshield like they were supposed to but I'm very unhappy with the way they left my car. First off they left it a mess. I cleaned my car before they came so it didn't look like a mess and when I came back out it was just awful they left small plastic pieces all over the sidewalk (which I hope didn't come from my car) and on the hood... and ALL OVER the inside of my car. Not only the rubber that held the windshield on but also tiny bits of glass! They also left it all over the hood of my car. When I went out to check my car out. The a pillar trim was dangling off with a broken mounting bracket with what I think is the gps dangling off by the wire. Not even attempting to glue or sticky tape it back on. So unless you want a pieced together car with a new windshield don't go here. I was informed they would call me back about the next day but never was. read more

A rock kicked up on the freeway after all the heavy rains we had, and cracked my windshield beyond repair. I called around got a very high quote from All Star Glass, but my boyfriend got a quote from Brother's for $220. I finally had time today to get this done. Called early in the day, told them Yes I want to make the appt, they said they can get the windshield by 3pm. I say Great! See you at 3! I drive over there, actually got there at 3:05, found the "office" if that's what they call it. Was told that the guys weren't back with the glass yet. Ok, I am a reasonable person. I can wait a bit. 20 minutes go by. I ask if they think the glass will be here soon? Yes, yes, they'll be back soon. But that when they get here it will be really fast. 30 more minutes go by. I have officially run out of work things to get caught up on (thankfully I brought my laptop to get work done while I waited), so I go outside, pull up Yelp and locate First Call Auto Glass. Don't know why I didn't call them first, since they have 5 Stars and 55 reviews, and Brothers has 4 1/2 Stars and only 17 reviews. I called First Call, got a quote for $269 and they can schedule me tomorrow afternoon. I let her know my situation, that I was about to walk out of Brother's, as I'd rather give my hard-earned cash to a business that wants to earn it. It's worth paying the extra $49 to me, on principle at this point. I went back in, grabbed my computer and bag, and the gal at the "front desk" completely ignored me...I said "I gotta go, maybe next time..." she didn't even look up from her phone. This is the point at which I am still there, and they could have saved the sale, as I was ready to leave, but with some major ass-kissing, could have been convinced to wait a few more minutes if the glass was really on the way. I need this fixed, it's not something I can continue to put off. HORRIBLE customer service, horrible business management. NEVER GO HERE unless you want to wait for an hour and waste your precious time while they go do whatever and ignore you. On January 20, 2018 I had a windshield installed for $200. The first thing I noticed was a very thin, 2 inch scratch on the drivers side and figured they might have scratched it during installation. No big deal. The second thing I noticed was a buzzing/vibrating sound coming from the windshield and just assumed the glue they used was not dry 100%. When we got home and parked, the third thing I noticed was the reflection in the windshield was so warped. Again, minor issue, didn't think anything of it. I am just a very observant person and it was another thing I happened to notice. On January 22nd I called the shop and spoke to Mario about the buzzing noise. He said it sometimes takes a week for the glue to completely dry and settle. However, the buzzing noise never went away and on January 27th, I took my car back to Brother's Auto Glass and asked them to fix the noise. They resealed the windshield and Mario offered me a better windshield at an additional $200. Another suggestion was to go to the Jeep dealership and have them install an "original" rubber seal. I gave my windshield another week or so and the noise never went away. I drive a LOT and it was very, very annoying having to listen to this noise for, literally, hours at a time. On February 6th, I again took my car back to the shop and had Mario, along with another employee, test drive my car so they could hear the noise itself and maybe try to figure out what was causing the noise. Mario said since there was no water or air leaking, the only thing they could do was add more glue in the places I could hear the sound coming from. March 3rd, a month later, the sound never went away so as a last resort I call the shop and asked Mario to order a new windshield and have them install that one in case, for whatever reason, the current windshield was just molded incorrectly. He says "no problem" and he would call me when the new windshield came in. March 6th, Mario texts saying windshield came in with a big scratch. They're in the process of ordering a new one but "his boss is contemplating whether to install the same after market window vs an original OEM window. I believe we had given you a quote on the window for an additional $200. She can do it for $150 and I guess she just doesn't feel comfortable installing the same after market window" I replied to that text saying I did not mind having an after market windshield, I just wanted a new one ordered and installed in case there was just something wrong with the one they installed on January 20th. If the problem persisted, then I would request a full refund of $200. He replied with "understood but one thing my boss wants to let you know she will order another after market window and if it continues she's only willing to refund what the glass cost $50.00" I replied telling him to NOT reorder a windshield, that I will be there on Thursday, March 8th, for a full refund so that I can have another company install a windshield for me. His reply: "not a full refund no $100 is what she will refund being that the window is installed and something that you are actually keeping sorry for any inconvenience" I immediately called the shop and spoke with Mario telling him that they "guarantee" their labor for 3 months but I have had this windshield installed for only a month and a half and from day ONE there has been a problem with it. I had spoken to him countless times over the phone as well as been to the shop 3 times for them to fix it and they never did. His "boss" eventually agreed to refund the full $200 I originally paid as long as they received the windshield back in the same condition it was given to me. March 8th rolls around and I go in for my refund. They remove the windshield, I drive off their lot and drive right down the street to All Star Auto Glass who was shocked that Brother's Auto Glass allowed me to drive off their lot without a windshield. I was told the type of glue that Brother's Auto Glass uses has a "no drive time" of 24-48 hours and the windshield they had installed was used. Makes sense since they wanted the bad windshield from my car returned to them so they can sell it to another unsuspecting customer! All Star Auto Glass installed an absolutely perfect windshield and guess what?! NO MORE NOISE! I highly recommend All Star Auto Glass off Oceanside Blvd located in the Greenbrier shopping center next to Weinerschnitzel. They are very professional and do not allow you to drive off their lot until 30 mins after installation as that is how long it takes their glue to set. read more
