Google has their hours as 24/7 but that is inaccurate. I needed service on a Saturday and was stoked to find a business open "24/7". They do have a 24/7 portal to request a quote but scheduling an appt is not available 24/7. I completed the form on Saturday and received a quote within the hour as advertised but could not schedule an appt. I was contacted promptly Monday morning to schedule the appt. Awesome experience. We had another windshield company that was supposed to come out, but the guy apparently was sitting in front of the wrong house. He got rather flippant with me when I had called to see where he was at. So I just told him never mind. But Express Auto was super professional. From my initial contact to get a quote. I just had to take a pic of the crack along with a key to give them scale. We communicated via text. I went on the website to schedule an appointment. Locked in a date. They did text to ask if they could move up the appointment, which actually worked out for me. Got reminder notifications. Their guy showed up on time with a mask. Was very amicable. He knocked it out. Showed me what was completed. It looked great. He explained that I could wash the car if I wanted as there were no restrictions. These guys were great. Had a small chip in windshield that was starting to crack. My insurance covers chips. I contacted another local repair place that has great reviews first and he said that insurance doesn't pay him enough so I would have to pay an additional $30 in addition to filing insurance (????). Didn't sound right to me, so I contacted Express Auto. We were set up the next day to come to my house -- no additional fees for mobile tech. I got delayed getting to my house in time for the appointment and the tech was super flexible in meeting me somewhere else. 20 minutes and he was done. Can barely see the chip, but more importantly it shouldn't expand into a full crack now. read more

I was looking for a company that would come to Encinitas and replace my cracked windshield quickly. Elan was prompt top return my call and give me a quote over the phone. It was $93 less than the "discount" quote provided by my insurance company (via safelight?). I got an appointment 2 days later and it seems like they did a good job. I was given clear instructions (don't wash car for 48 hours, etc) via a waver and verbally by the friendly technician who did the install. A few other notes just FYI: Appointments are currently scheduled were the start time is anywhere within a 3 hour window, so make sure you have some flexibility in your schedule on the day of service. Also, needed to have some rust removed in the area of the windshield that required them to come by and remove the glass first and then complete the job several days later after the body work was done. I have also called the main number, which is an automated system that simply sends you a text asking you to submit a request for quote on their website.
