Body looked great but that was just about it as I soon discovered. First thing was driver's seat wouldn't raise or lower so they kept the car for 2 weeks on the pretext of fixing it. Little did I know the real reason they didn't want me driving it back to Nevada that day was because 1) I would have had to fill the gas tank and seen that the tank level sensors weren't working as would only register between empty or 1/2 full, 2) the car would have overheated as radiator wasn't functional , Ac condenser bad which I would have discovered on way back to Nevada if I even made it that far- and would have returned the car that day before the check cleared. On delivery 2 weeks later after being unloaded from car shipping trailer- the battery was dead and had to be replaced. The gas tank registered empty and when I filled it- it only came up to 1/2 full. Repairs needed immediately- radiator, AC condenser, gas tank had to be removed to replace sensors, rough ride so new shocks then discovered it was the bushing ends that needed repair. New tires as tires bad and new headlights as likewise bad. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. 11k spent on repairs but final insult recently was when instrument cluster failed and I had to pay 2500 for a new cluster and to have it cloned to old one. Suddenly an air bag light was present- the shop discovered a piece of paper in the old cluster when they pulled it that was covering the air bag warning light explaining why I suddenly had an air bag light showing with the new cluster. Don't know if El Vista did that or they bought the car at auction that way but I do know they knew all the other mentioned things were bad as had the car 2 weeks going over everything so were aware of all the issues. Also they never fixed the seat which they used as a reason to prevent me driving the car home that day.. Very sketchy auto sales. Don't buy from them. I'm now in process of getting air bag issue fixed after already putting in $13, 500 into car for repairs to date and that was not counting the initial $6,995 cost to purchase car. See photos of car on purchase with their El Vista tags on it. They have already removed my review once but I will continue to keep putting it back on to warn others.

I'm toward the end of the Volkswagen "Clean Diesel" emissions control mess and I'm going to need a…read morereplacement. Since these two lots supposedly belong to the same people as the Volkswagen dealer, it will be convenient to return the car to the VW dealer and shop the two lots. I spent some time at the lot next to the VW/Hyundai dealer and no one came to see me. That's odd. I've been to car lots where I would only be halfway out of my car and someone would be there to greet me. In any case, prices are clearly marked. Some of the cars are previous rentals, so they should have had all scheduled maintenance. They list which cars were rentals on the web site but not on the price listing. The other lot, next to the Nissan and Dodge dealers is somewhat mixed with the new vehicles and it's a bit confusing what is used (excuse me, pre-owned) and what is new. On a previous visit, a salesperson was quite helpful. This time, a salesperson stared a me, as if to figure out whether I had money or not, and then, went about his business without a word to me. I really don't want to buy a car now, but the mess is forcing this. If the sales people don't want to bother, what incentive do I have to shop there?

They never pressured me into buying something I didn't want and instead took the time to guide me, answer my questions, and explain all the important information clearly. Sergio was especially patient and helpful. He took his time with me, made sure all of my questions were answered, showed me all the cool features of the van, and even helped me get everything set up before I left. I really appreciated how comfortable and stress-free they made the whole experience. Thank you, Sergio and Sal, for helping me find the perfect vehicle!

Sales department is fine, but service OMFG! Talk about a nightmare!…read more Showed up for recall work and had an appointment. Sadly, I live out of their drop-off area for the shuttle so I was stuck in the dealership for over 7 hours before finally typing up this review (car still isn't done) the service manager I dealt with was great, but whoever was doing the work. I should have been compensated for wasting my day. There is NOTHING within walking distance and I'm not familiar enough with the area to even attempt to leave to get food. Vending machines are way over priced, and there is a CC surcharge added to everything including the stinking vending machines. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone even if it was the only dealer left on the planet! 4 hours was the recall work time estimate. Took in excess of 7.5 hours! Livid is an understatement. If I ever have to come back to this dealer, I'm going to bring someone else with a car so I am not trapped for the entire day wasting my life away getting nickle and dimed to death. Costco $0.25 bottle of water is $1.60 with the CC fee. I'd give ZERO stars if it was an option!! I am going to give credit where credit is due though. Aaron England checked on the car for us a few dozen times and was very apologetic. Sadly it feels like the management isn't really interested in keeping the service department properly staffed. Shouldn't have taken nearly 8 hours. Thanks again Aaron for continually checking up on the work.
