What a pleasant and actually fun experience when I went to purchase my new car (named Juanita). This was a phenomenal deal and a great car that will last for years, especially since I purchased the maintenance agreement and just have to schedule the date and it's done here at any Nissan nationwide. This dealerships is beautiful and has some great employees from the service department to sales and all of them in between. The maintenance workers are clean, dressed sharp and presentable with a smile. The service department was super simple and easy to schedule my upcoming appointment and of course sales and defiance departments were helpful but without all the pressures associated with car purchases. I did bring my Dad with me, but that was not for my advocacy, it was for them and to keep me in check....bartering and haggling are my favorite (lol) Juan was my sales person, hence my cars name is Juanita. Mostly because of f the great service I received from him while onsite. He cared and made sure I was comfortable throughout the purchase. He was also a very humble and hilarious person, who loves his family and is very proud of his wife and kiddos. Come on down to Central Valley Nissan and check out their huge selection of new and certified preowned vehicles and of course their amazing Nissan staff. East to locate off the North end of McHenry and there is plenty of free and safe parking. There are ADA parking, ramps and accessibly. I would have brain damage to recommend a Nissan..regardless of campaign bulletin poster or plaque it clearly states to take it in and they will repair at no charge! It's very clear. Took my husband's car in for an oil change, I pulled into the express lane and no other cars were there. I even commented to the service writer how slow it was, he agreed. I waited 2.5 hours for an "Express" oil change with an appointment that I was an hour early for. Then they messed with the drivers seat and because I don't drive this car, had no idea how to fix it, but could barely see over the dash to get back to home and I don't live in Modesto. I had moved the seat back when I got out, but they lowered it. Worst service experience ever! read more

I'm writing this review, and we are still currently shopping for a new vehicle. However, today we came to Nissan and met Maria (sales rep) and Ignacio (sales manager) in order to test drive a Nissan Kicks for our daughter. The customer service these two provide is over the top exceptional and the gold standard. Maria has strong sales knowledge and really knows the tech specs on the line up of vehicles at Nissan. She also was able to show side by side comparisons of her vehicle over the two other we are currently considering. After we left the dealership she sent us a video of the vehicle we are considering purchasing. The entire time she honored the fact that we are comparing a few models and I'm grateful for the pressure free environment. Ignacio the manager came out of the office when we first arrived in order to shake our hands and welcome us to his dealership. A sharp contrast to other managers on Mchenry at dealerships. Ignacio likes any other manager wants to sell you a vehicle, but....only if the vehicle and circumstance is right for you. Disclaimer: First off I do not like car dealerships, car salespeople, or the entire process of buying a new car. Secondly, I rarely give 5 start reviews. They would have had to go above & beyond or provide something no other dealership in the area could, & a privacy concern is not it. Lastly, I have to separate the dealership from the car & manufacturer. I'm going to mostly focus on the dealership. I needed a new commuter car. Something in the $15-20K range no accidents low mileage good MPG. I test drove several vehicles at our local dealerships both used & new. I found that the best bang for my buck options was a new 2024 Nissan Versa S at Central valley Nissan which I test drove with Juan & later did the paper work with Peter & Financial manager Enrique. Peter removed the stickers from the windshields very well and it wasn't even his job. The Salespeople were great, The financial people were great. I was buying the car at sticker price using my own bank for financing & a down payment.. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Right before my wife and I finished up our paperwork with our second salesmen Peter informed me that my new car comes with a mandatory option: Lojack, a 3rd party anti-theft tracking device. It's goes through a 3rd party Spireon. It cost just under $900 for the device & 5 years' service. Its saves me money on my insurance. However, I have privacy concerns & had I had the choice to take it or leave it I would have left it. I tried to get it removed but the sales manager refused. I really didn't feel like going out of town or starting over for another car so I begrudgingly took the LoJack. The car itself is a base model 3.5-to-4-star commuter car. I pretty much got what I wanted & a little more EXCEPT NO TEMPERATURE gauge, not an obvious analog dash gauge nor a digital one on this trim model. Had I discovered this on the test drive &/or not had to purchase the LoJack I would have looked at a higher trim level or another model. It does have a overheat light but I'm still going to have to keep an extra keen eye on the fluid levels. Good luck trying to find the features your Nissan does & does not have. The documentation is vague & has a lot of "If so Equipped" Statements. Trying to find specific features & information from the manufacturers site on the car you want is laughably bad. The Buyer is going to have to check over the vehicle & recheck to make sure they are getting ALL the features they want. This is on the manufacturer not the dealership. I had two issues with my vehicle besides LoJack & the lack of a temp gauge. I swear I can occasionally feel my car shift & it's suppose to be a True Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), & after less than a week of ownership the new car started to develop a creaking noise when you come to a complete stop & the vehicle snaps back. It sounds like the car needs a lube job. I made an appointment to have my car looked at by the service department. The creaking went away after driving in the rain which makes me think that the issue is lubrication. They got my car in early, They did not notice any issues but they did note everything is wet under the car (Rainy day). I do have a CVT & it is not giving any error codes so I will keep an eye on this. I do have a warranty. The service department has been awesome. They got me in, & checked everything I was concerned about. They answered all my questions, & made good recommendations. If I asked them something they could not immediately answer then they will go out of their way to find out & inform me. The service department on it's own by itself pushes into 5 star territory. On my way out to breakfast with my wife after dropping my car off with service the Sales manager (The one that refused to remove LoJack) confronted me about my bad reviews on Yelp & Google asking me to take them down, He wanted to argue with me about it & upset my wife. Part of me feels I should leave the original 2 star or even drop it down to a 1 star but in fairness to everyone else at the dealership I feel I should just mention the issue & perform an unbiased review. Dealership gets a 3 starts staring with 4 & loosing one for sales manager & Lojack issue Note: this is better then my original 2 star review. The Car is 3.5 stars Loosing a half point for lack of a gauge & other minor issues. Again this is still acceptable. The manufacturer is a big "WTF?!?!" based of the car, documentation, & absolute lack of accurate detailed specs for features on the vehicles I was looking at. I really can't hold this against the dealership. Nissan needs to explain features for each model/trim & Level better & put temp gauges in all cars! If you the reader wants Lojack, doesn't run afoul of the sales manager, & can spring for a higher trim model then they can probably consider this a 4 to 4.5 star review. Again I only give 5 stars for going well above and beyond and I round off. . read more

I had a service November 18, 2023. I live in turlock and that's like 30 min from Nissan dealership in modesto and I made an appointment to have my oil and lube change. It was my last free service as part of my contract when I purchased my car and no one ever told me or reminded me that there was an expiration date of July 3, 2023. My last service was in March 2023 and Jeffrey Mico didn't do their job to notify me. So when I showed up to my appointment at 1:00 pm Jeffrey Mico, the service advisor, that attended me said my oil change had expired and that it would be $84.95 and I said why didn't you notify me the last time and he said, sorry I forgot. I said, well I'm here and need my oil change, makes no sense to drive all the way here to modesto for nothing. I asked how much for the oil change and Jeffrey said $84.95 and I said, well it was supposed to l my last free oil change and he said, he couldn't do anything now. I wasn't too happy and proceeded to sign the paper work and waited in the lobby. About 30 min later he comes up to me and shows me the air filter and cabin filter and that it needs to be replaced and I say okay. Might as well do it now. He says, he also recommends the coolant and transmission change and I say not right now. That's like 400 dollars more that I can't afford right now. Jeffrey than says that he emailed me the paper work and when I check my pdf estimate it says Express $137.45 I'm like huh? I never asked for express and why is it $137.45 when Jeffrey quoted me, $84.95 so I went to go talk to him and he tells that I signed for it and I say yes I signed for 84.95 and not 137.45. He doesn't seem to care that the email is wrong and I ask him to get his manager. He then goes talk to Gary Silva, the manager on site and he was nice and said that indeed it is supposed to be $84.95 and that their computers were down last week and blah, blah what might have caused it and I said, well that's a big difference in pricing and I did not agree. He checks his computer and says me his monitor that shows $84.95 is a special supposedly but that there is a glitch and why it shows $137.45. Than I ask why are you sending me an email that says express 137.45? He said there is a glitch in the system and Monday morning he will call Nissan to have it fixed but I still got screwed and no one did anything to help me. I told them this is the last time I ever come get my service done here. I bought the first kicks in 2018 here in modesto and this is how you treat a customer? Gary Silva gave me his card and said, next time you come, the oil change is on me but after all this do you think I am interested in coming back? Jeffrey went in the back, clearly mad and kept interrupting my conversation with Gary, until I asked him to stop interrupting my conversation. Jeffery went in the back area, where they fix the cars and was talking bad about me to the staff and everyone who would come close to me would give me a dirty look. Jeffrey was clearly talking bad about me. I said, if this is how you treat a customer that speaks good English I would hate to think how you treat those who speak no English. I bought a brand new 2018 kicks there at Nissan! The very first in the area and in the last year things have changed with their prices and services. They seem to care more for taking advantage of people than saving a customer. They quote you one thing verbally and in the email show you something completely different and if you don't pay attention they try to screw you over. Don't sign anything until it's the price they quoted you is correct and double check the email they send you once you are there at the dealership to confirm it's the exact same price because one can't trust these people!! read more

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Staff was nice and helpful, but other than that the service practices are dirty. My car was having trouble passing smog due to monitors not setting no matter how many miles I drove. I had an ABS light on. Service dept recommended to replace the entire ABS module (quoted over $2500) based on their tests and findings. I took it to my mechanic for a second opinion and he said it was only one ABS sensor that was bad, replaced it and what do you know the light turned off and my car passed smog! Spend maybe $200 to fix the problem instead of spending $2500 at Nissan. Now I know why dealerships get nicknamed the "stealership". Nissan will NEVER be getting by business again, no way no how! read more

They reeled me in by telling me they'd look for one in the area that I described to them but in the end only pulled my credit for the new one they were trying to get off their lot.
