Best sauces and sides of any bbq joint I've tried in Denver. The pulled pork and beef brisket were great too. The dining area was pretty small but it didn't seem at all awkward because the staff were so friendly and helpful. I'm from kc and it made my day to see the Gate's bbq platter on the wall and talk to them about their visits to the great kc bbq joints. Today I had the pleasure of having an order placed for an entire team at Kaiser. It was a some what large order, I was having issues placing the order online so I had to call. I got an amazing rep by the name of Aaron, he allowed me to fax my order over. When I got there everything was individually wrapped and named. His customer service was the best I have had in years. He was nice and patient and understanding when I split this large order. He was attentive and a sweetheart. He made this experience at Brothers by far one of the best. The food was great and the service better. He was a doll to work with, I thik customer service is very important in this day where technology has seemed to replace face to face interaction. Best cue in southeast Denver.Only negative limited parking.The meats are perfect,flavorful and very tender.The sauces are also very flavorful but not overpowering. I've eaten at the Denver location and the Broomfield location and both are very consistent.The portions are pretty good.Highly recommend. read more

I love BBQ and give credit when due but firstly over priced.... you get fries that are bland and over cooked.... Macaroni & cheese that is rubbish and you could do better at home.... And a dry roll on the side. Don't waste your time there's a lot better out there. read more

Food was good, staff friendly, however their sanitary conditions, the way the staff handles the food withe their filthy dirty hands is beyond discusting. Told my wife and she would not touch the food I brought. Please call the health department. Cashier took lettuce out of a bag with her bare hands and stuffed it into a cup for a carry out. Brothers has the BEST beans I have ever eaten! I love the Brother sandwich too, it has a great mix of flavors and I love to put the different sauces on for different bites. I had the fried chicken at one of their locations once and it was pretty tasty but I will probably stick to the other meat/side combinations. Georgia peach born and raised and as far as bbq is concerned this is ok..... the mac n cheese is seriously lacking. Not bad, but nothing even resembling southern mac n cheese. Southern mac n cheese is baked and this is just noodles and cheese sauce. The pulled pork however is really tender. It could use a little more salt, and the hot sauce I requested is more sweet than hot. Overall though, I would eat here again. It'll do since I can't get any true southern bbq here in the mile high city. That is unless I make it myself, lol. read more

I've been eating and referring people to brothers bbq for years and it's always been delicious except for my most recent visit this past Saturday. I always order a full slab of beef ribs and 2 sides for my family and never had a complaint until this time. The ribs had more fat than beef. My family and I were extremely disappointed with the ribs but my dog wasn't because she has been eating the leftover fat now all weekend. I will not be back to brothers bbq anytime soon nor refer anyone else, it's time to explore other bbq restaurants in the near future. $40.00 for fatty ribs was quite a left down after eating at brothers bbq for years. My dog is also disappointed because she will no longer get fatty leftovers from your establishment. I hope management reads this review and will address my concern. Thank you. Update:. I think this location must have changed management recently, because it used to be great. The food quality is so/so now and the customer service us so bad that I won't be going back. Counter staff is rude and twice in a row I've gotten home with a "to go" order to discover its wrong. Won't be returning...can't recommend it to anyone. read more

Placed an order for deliver at 8:10pm. Was called by the delivery service and told no gravy. I said I would still have the mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were watery and flavorless (I always get them and love them usually). I called the store directly and complained and asked about the gravy. I was told that they were not making another batch of gravy because it was too much and they would have to throw it out at the end of the night. I ordered at 8:10pm and they do not close until 10pm. I told them the potatoes were watery and they said they knew and because there was no gravy they were just using those potatoes they did not figure they would sell mashed potatoes since there was no gravy so they did not make any more. They told me to let them sit a while and they would stiffen up. They did send a side of mac and cheese but it was flavorless. I asked on my delivery form for an additional hot bbq sauce and original since you can only select one of each on the menu. They did not arrive and the delivery person had to come back with those. When he did they were in small containers. We ordered a mixed plate for one and the pork dinner for 4. In the past the original sauce always came in a larger container. Not pleased with our experience here tonight , we ordered take out from Brothers BBQ using Delivered Dish . We waited almost 2 hours for our food, when it finally arrived we kindly tipped the delivery person 20 dollars. (As we spent near 100) for the meal. The order we were suppose to get contained a full rack of pork ribs, a full rack of beef ribs , cole slaw, and a pint of beans. We were disappointed to see, that we did not receive our order, instead we received someone else's order containing tiny portions of ; Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, little bits of chicken, meat and 2 beef ribs. The meal we received looked like a kids meal. Not to mention my 81 year old grandma is lactose intolerant. When we called to see if we could receive the order we paid for, they said it would be another 30 minute wait . By this time it was nearly 8:00 PM, and we all were exausted. The restaurant needs to be aware of the services it's using to provide its food, this was more than disappointing. Don't eat here!!! It will be a greasy let down. read more

Never again. We ordered a large order online early in the day for 5 p.m. pickup. Got there, waited in line for 15 minutes (guy behind counter was taking phone orders, in person orders, and helping prepare food) and was told order not ready. Came back 30 minutes later, and waited in line 20 minutes, and went over the order and found that sauce was missing. Wished I had taken the foil off the beef ribs, because when I presented the food at my get together an hour late due to waiting in line and not having my order ready, I found the ribs to be so disgusting that they were not fit for dog bones. I brought the ribs back to the restaurant, was promised a credit on my card for that portion of the order, and was told by the "manager on duty" that ordering beef ribs is "hit or miss". If that's the case, they should be taken off the menu. read more

Having spent my whole life visiting/living in the south, BBQ is a BIG part of my life! I have been wanting some for a while now, so tonight I visited Brother's BBQ for the first time and it was delicious!!! I ordered a pulled pork sandwich w slaw on top, a side of mac & cheese and beans PLUS banana pudding & a sweet tea. At first I thought the price for the sides was too expensive because they're so small, when actually it was worth it & the size turned out to be perfect! The beans were rather spicy, which I didn't care for, but good and the mac & cheese was SUPER creamy! The sandwich was AMAZING and HUGE by the way! I chose the Carolina BBQ sauce. Mmm mmm mmm so good!!! I've only had a small bite of the banana pudding, so far, as you can imagine I'm already STUFFED. Anyway, it's pretty good; however, they have a cool whip type of ingredient on top that I found to be too sweet. My grandma always topped her's with a meringue. Also, the sweet tea was pretty disappointing as it wasn't sweet enough. When I think of sweet tea I think of my grandma's and well that'll put you in a diabetic coma! I wish they served corn bread and fried okra too! Finally, the staff was friendly and my wait wasn't too long. All & all I thoroughly enjoyed my experience will be back!! read more

Serious observations that made me squirm: racks of pork ribs on a sheet pan sitting on the garbage pail! Left out who knows how long. Kitchen crew sweeping looked and left open bottle of sauce on floor under kitchen counter. To top it off omitted my order of corn bread. Had to drive back fifteen minutes to get and I am in chronic pain. Very nice staff. Food delicious but serious public health issues. Check your bag before leaving!! read more

the food is pretty good, their policies are insane today is 4th of july and i wanted to get some bbq for my family and friends. and they have a sale, 1.25 per bone, limit 12 but i have 10 poeple coming and need 3 racks well, then i need to bring 3 people for pickup , cuz limit is one per customer. the manager suggested i bring my baby or anybody i find on the street to accomplish 3 poeple. Just got home with some bbq from Brothers on Leetsdale. WOW the worst bbq I ever ate; ribs were obviously old and thrown back on the barbie to warm up and just ended up burning them, chicken parts that looked like what I mix in with my dogs food and sides that were barely worth the effort. The only place this food should find itself is in the garbage which is exactly where it ended up. Don't waste your money there is better bbq out there because it aint' here! read more

Third time at this location, all three for lunch, and not only would the guy behind the counter not stop reading me the menu, but once I had ordered and gone to fill my drinks the Dr. Pepper is out. My husband and I have been having the worst craving for BBQ when we realized we haven't had good BBQ since we got here in Colorado so he searched for good BBQ places and found Brothers BBQ. The first visit blew us away. We were expecting "okay" food but the pork ribs were amazing! Really soft and tender, some of the meat would just hang off the bone and their sauces are good too. My personal favorite is the original since its not too sweet. Not a big fan of mac and cheese as a side for my ribs since its a little too heavy for me so I opted for a potato salad (since they were out of mashed potatoes that first time). I find it perfect with my ribs to compliment the smoky, kind of sweet taste of the ribs. And the southern tea is the best sweet tea I've had. Not too sweet at all! The second time we ordered here, I finally had the mashed potatoes and tried the beans, coleslaw and BBQ chicken with my favorite pork ribs and they did not disappoint. My mother-in-law who's hard to please with food was sooo happy with their ribs. All we could say while eating was "it's so good!" Good enough that we'd think and talk about it all night! :p Prices are good too. The place is small but I love the casual ambiance. You may find the place full at times and parking may be tough so it's probably best to order for take-out. read more
