The dye stained the silver buttons on the jeans making them rough and crusty, and somehow one side of the waist became shriveled in the process. The gray color was also not a great match to the inspo pic I showed them. I also brought a jacket here and it was completely ruined, the lining of the jacket became detached and made it sit weird as you can see on the bottom of the photo, and there's a darker splotch of dye on one area. I wanted a deep espresso color for this that we chose together and the color came out nothing like that. I couldn't even wear this jacket once i just had to throw it away. Do not bring your valuable pieces here!!! I will say staff is nice when you go in. However I texted them nicely about how my clothes are ruined and they have read receipts on and didn't respond. (See attached text message.) The following still stands, my dry cleaning was done poorly and they refused to fix it that night. They offered to fix it after the fact. But why would I go back after I was repeatedly shouted at to "get the hell out", take my business elsewhere, and eventually threatening to be sued? The younger guy is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Calling customers and their comments "annoying", "condescending", and "nasty" isn't a good look. (See response below and attached text message.) I took two suits for their first cleaning after about 4-5 wears each, both came back with ripples/bubbles (due to improper pressing, usually too-high heat) where the outer material separated from the lining. That is something that can occur over time after multiple wears and cleanings, typically not after the first time getting a piece dry cleaned. Super disappointing for a basic $60 (per suit) cleaning. I can't trust Ritz with my more expensive pieces moving forward, and I will be cautioning my friends and clients the same.
