New to New Kent County. Based on a neighbors recommendation, we gave it a try today. It's Sunday about 630pm and only a few customers in the restaurant. We were immediately greeted by the host- server and had our beer - wine drinks ordered within one minute. Drinks came to our tables with in a few minutes and then we ordered a small 12" pepperoni- mushroom pizza. 15 mins later the pizza arrives hot and ready for eating. All in all a good experience. Food and staff were both above average. The outside is deceiving but definitely worth trying. My wife loves a saucy pizza but this pizza was very light on the sauce, but was tasty . The crust had a nice brown - crunch. Pepperoni was plentiful and mushrooms were fresh- not from a can like other places. We rated the pizza a solid B. Do not judge this place by its cover..... go inside a have a nice meal. We will be back. BTW- bring cash. They up- charge if you use a plastic card....... read more

Brother's Pizza is absolutely delicious. The pizza is loaded with cheese and ample toppings...and the crust is so crispy and soft just where it should be, done to perfection. The sub portions are huge, and the fries are good. Their ranch dressing is unbelievably tasty. I always order extra. The customer service is always consistently efficient and friendly. For take-out they honor a punch card, which is a bonus. It's a country little place with real Italian food to be trusted. read more

Tried for the first time, take out. Food was tasty, I consider myself a pizza aficionado and the pizza was very good. But one large pizza three toppings and a tiny (but tasty, wished there was more) steak sub that came with fries was $48 total, ouch! If you try them take cash for a discount and maybe beg for an additional discount too. Not sure I can visit again at those prices, we joked that Italy must have put tariffs on it. Not much to choose from locally, so might try again in a pinch. read more

People in the are always recommended this place when someone ask for a pizza recommendation. It's Sunday and my regular place was closed so I thought I would give this place a try. We ordered three pies, cheese, pepperoni, and a white pizza with spinach and tomatoes. When placing the order I asked if they had white pizza. The person on the phone said ricotta, garlic, and mozzarella. I said great can you add spinach and tomato. When I get the pizza home it's a red sauce pizza with spinach and tomato. I'm a New Yorker so it's hard to please me when it comes to pizza and that's why I gave them the 3 star. I know I'm not finding NY pizza in Virginia. The pizza has a sweet sauce, bland crust and I didn't receive a white pizza. Next time I'll pass. read more

My second trip to BIR was nearly as good as the first. I got carryout again, ordering: * Steak and Cheese Supreme Sub, $8.95 * French Fries, $3.50 * Greek Salad, $8.95 * Tiramisu, $4.95 Fifteen minutes later I was headed out the door. At home I sampled the French Fries first. They weighed in at a hefty 9.25 ounces. Meh. Crinkle-cut and previously frozen. I ate half at the first sitting and half later. Next time I'll try the Onion Rings. Time for the Steak and Cheese Supreme Sub (Fried onions, mushrooms, green peppers, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise.) That thang is huge! A whopping 17 ounces, that was easily 2 meals. I moved half from the clamshell to my dinner plate. And feasted on it for the next 30 minutes. The next day I ate the other half. Yum! I'll be sure to do that again! Now, the Tiramisu. The Tiramisu. Tiramisu! Where in hell is my Tiramisu? It was not in the plastic bag that I carried out from the restaurant. Grrr. Next time I'll check my order before walking out. I put the Greek Salad in the fridge, and ate it the next day with 2 separate meals. The Salad was a hearty 17.2 ounces with a 3 ounce cup of Greek dressing. I hope to return soon, in hopes of going back to a 5 star rating. read more

Disgusted! We waited over an hour for our food. Every other table had been served and couples sat 20 minutes after us had finished their meals, paid and left by the time we got salad. The table next to us had been sat 30 minutes after us and was served before us - which motivated us to offer to pay for the soda & drinks and leave. And then there's the disorganized staff, dated decor, and a waitress that likes removing her mask to chat. We will NEVER return. read more

The food is way over priced for food that was not even that good, totally not worth it. Asked for extra crispy wings and they came with a saggy breading on them as if they had been soaking in water and sauce for hours- not the slightest bit crispy to say the least. The front door girl took forever to cash me out, you could tell she was high in the clouds struggling to function in the real world if you know what I mean... very disappointed read more

The food was freshly made and delicious. The chicken parmigiana was made with real chicken breast meat not a frozen patty. The herbs that they used made it very tasty. It was served with fresh hot rolls. read more

We have been driving by this place for a lot longer than I want to admit. I /we were so happy to say this place is awesome! The food was good, the service was good considering the waitress had 9 tables going. Be patient, respect the staff and you will totally enjoy the food. read more

First time ordering in my home down Rt 60 and very happy with there cheese pizza and a chicken parm dinner w/salad. Everything was delicious and very hot still nicely hot for takeout - Will will definitely order again from there sooner them later.. read more

We live close and have eaten here several times. In fact, we've picked it over other local places several times. I must say that those days are likely over. Over the phone, I ordered one medium cheese pizza and one medium pepperoni pizza with an order of garlic knots. I was told it would be 20-25 minutes. 25 minutes in I was handed my garlic knots but no pizza. 35 minutes in I was handed two pepperoni pizzas. I demanded to speak to the manager. By the time that I did, it had been 45 total minutes. He did return most (not all) of my money when I became very angry and seemed to want to make things right by offering a cheese pizza. That satisfied me somewhat. Until I got home and found that he piled cheese ON TOP OF PEPPERONI and burned the bottom of the pizza. This is an absolutely disgusting business practice from end to end. read more

great place. anytime i make the trip to richomnd from williamsburg i stop for lunch. thats approx twice a month. food is always very good. never have i encountered bad or slow service as mentioned in other reviews. the sevice has always been speedy and extremely courteous. my fav is the chicken parm. my wife seems to always order the greek salad with grilled chicken and says its also very good. The pizza was hot lots of toppings excellent crust service was second to none the salad was massive. Beer was cold. Couldn't ask for more.

Order two pies. One sausage and one mushroom and the appetizer sampler. The appetizer sampler was predominantly microwaved mozzarella sticks, reheated thin chicken cutlet pieces that were shockingly dry, microwaved fries, greasy yet crunchy onion rings, and mediocre "fried"pickles. The pizza is perfectly forgettable. The dough is bland and almost bitter, the sauce was ok, and the cheese is salty. The staff were very nice but this is a one and done for me and my family. My wife also had a piece of cardboard imbedded in the crust of one of the pies. read more

We tried this restaurant because we were in the area and saw decent reviews. We weren't disappointed. From the outside it's not much to look at and the inside is dated, but clean and functional. The service was excellent and the food was, too. We had a group of 6 and our server was helpful and very attentive. Our group had a variety of dishes (pastas, sandwiches, etc) and everyone was very happy. If they gave the place a "facelift" - it would be a 5 star review from me. And even if they don't, I'll be back if I'm in the area. Loved it! read more

This is the best pizza in the area and being from the area I can say I've sampled them all. The staff is friendly and kind and even if you're doing carry out still greet you warmly. Pizza tastes great, it's always nice and hope, and I've never had an issue with bubbles in the pizza. The place gets pretty busy and parking can become a bit hard so I always go for take out. They also donate a portion of your check to local churches if you ask. read more

We have visited this restaurant numerous times. Had mostly decent experiences. Decided I didn't feel like cooking tonight so I went in and placed a carry out order. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, Greek salad with Greek dressing, a steak and cheese and loaded fries. She repeated the order back to me. Sent my daughter in to grab it. Got 20 minutes away to home to discover that my salad had no dressing and my pizza was cheese!! What the hell??? It was not a difficult order at all!! May never return!!! Have placed 2 takeout orders in the last week. The first order had 4 lunch specials, and when the order was picked up, the girl at the counter reminded those in the back of what our side orders were to be. Got back to the office, all the sides were wrong. Today, I ordered an Italian salad. Looked great, on the surface, but as I dug down into the salad the lettuce underneath was somewhat brown. It's apparent by these two visits that they are not interested in getting the order right or making sure the food they send out is edible. This used to be a great place to eat, so these two experiences have been disappointing to say the least. Not sure what has happened but someone needs to get things back in check. read more
