I was in here checking to see if they had Corona Refrescas that I swear I saw them have before but couldn't find them anywhere unfortunately. Parking: they have a free parking lot w/ a good amount of spaces; usually doesn't get too packed so you should be fine with parking if you decide to grab something from here.

I'm not in there very long as i usually pickup the same certain liquor bottles, hard seltzers and the like. They have what I'm looking for in wine, cognac tequila or the cans. The look of the store inside hadn't changed too much over the years but they are easy parking, has the Liq and also sells bags of ice (found outside the store). Prices are competitive from what I usually see around, not the cheapest but competitive. Be back next event.

I was in and bought one of the wines at the free tasting station. It was good. Many of the wines were new, I'd have to come back to know which taste the buyer prefers. I also didn't speak to the staff for suggestions. The gentlemen at the free wine tasting station described the wines. Wine tasting is fascinating. Every one has a different description of what they taste on their palette and expectations. He said sweet, I thought smooth. He said hardy but I tasted more tannins and earthiness. Obviously the smoother reds are my preference and bolder hardier Reds were his. It's all in the interpretation of meaning when picking a wine store and working with staff to find a new wine. They also have wine tasting stations with machine operated calculated pours. You pay by credit card. It's fun, I've tried it before but not here so I can't tell you if the pour is worth the price. Shame on you Trader Joe! I then decided to check out the neighborhood and found this cute place. I loved how the store was visible from the street and down a staircase. I walked around the store to check out the selection. One guy followed me to the back of the store. He asked if I needed help. Yeah they still had their eye on me. Ha! Near the front door, there were a few shelves of discounted wines. This was a great deal. Buy two two bottles, mix and match varieties for only $13. That's a great deal considering Eataly across the street can't touch that price. I found two fantastic white wines. One was from Yugoslavia. It was really good. I had no idea Yugoslavia make wine. I thought they only made that little car called the Yugo. Where's the Yugo? Personally I'd stick to making wine over cars. I would totally buy this wine again. The store had a ton of foot traffic. I loved how the taxes were all built into the prices of the alcohol. There a single beer cooler in the back where you can select beers from the broken cases. They have signs about not breaking six packs in the fridge. That's so old school. In the old days you could always break six packs but don't do it here. You've been warned. This is a great stop to stock up your hotel room with cheers, especially if you're working at the convention center. Don't pay the high prices of the hotels. I got two bottles for less then one glass of wine. Now that's a deal. Thanks for wining me up in Boston.
