These people are a rip-off! Do not go here. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded since I was a teenager and I know what is right and what is wrong. They use a cheaper thread than the ladies I am used to in Florida. When I complained because it was so painful, they used a correct thread. I understand that the correct thread is slightly more expensive, but how much more expensive could it be! What does the cheaper thread do? It pulls your skin, makes you bleed, it breaks quite often, and is all in all a discomfort. How do you know if they are using the right thread? It will not hurt as much. I have thick eyebrow hair and its super painful when I go here. I know ladies in Florida that thread my eyebrows for $3-5 and do a great job. I thought at $15, I would be getting top of the line treatment. I was in for a surprise. My next step is to try Khoobsurat Salon. I will keep you posted on my experience there and whether they are using the correct thread or not. read more

Called to make an appointment, since I bought the Groupon - and was told I could make my first appointment over the phone, but had to wait until I showed up at that first initial appointment before making any further, future appointments. I've never heard of this before, it's terrible customer service, and is a roadblock for potential clients. I still made the first appointment. I get my brows threaded here every month. I bought a $50 frequent card for a visit once a month for 6 months. So that's about $8.33 a visit. They always do a good job. I usually never have to wait. read more

So I walked in wanting to get my eyes brows waxed because it is listed as one of the services. When I asked for my wax 3 women kept convincing me to get it threaded. I gave in. It didn't take too long. But once she was done she walked away to ring me up. I had hair all over my face. I asked for a tissue and she quickly threw one at me. As I was checking out, she kept asking me to get a membership. Holy cow they dont give up! I declined that. Although the threading was actually nice, the customer service was THAT bad and because of that i wouldn't come back. I like that they are open later than most brow shops and I don't worry about getting an iffy threading done unlike those $2.99 places where it is hit and miss. MY bestfriend and I had our eyebrows threaded at this brow arc location around two years ago. Whoever did our brows was amazing! We have been to another brow arc location in Seattle but were not completely satisfied with our eyebrow threading. It was good at the other location but nothing like our first experience here. I wish I knew the ladies name! I don't even know if she works here anymore but based on that experience I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Ever since our first brow threading experience we always look forward to getting them done again and again. Just wish brow arc was closer because I really do love getting my brows threaded! :( But like I said it REALLY does matter who does your brows. Threading is kind of like an art. Some people truly aren't as talented as others. The girls change frequently and most of the time you never know who's gonna end up doing your brows. So that's the sucky part about this place. I have been to several brow arcs thoughout the Seattle area. I have had great experiences and I have also had subpar experiences. I would say overall my experiences have been good. Just some better than others. Lol. The best Eyebrow thread I have gotten so far from any brow arc was 100% my first ever time getting my brows threaded and it was at this location. I think there are several other places that aren't a chain that do more quality threading than this place. But these places are usually so quick! Just in and out! read more

Purchased a groupon for 2 blow outs here, second experience was better than the first as the stylist I got the second time was very nice an pleasant, the fist was not very friendly and I don't think we spoke for the entire appointment. Overall the service in both cases was alright, it basically is what it says (blow out) I was possibly expecting to get a lil volume or some texture, wave or style into my hair and both times it basically was just like I had used my own hair dryer at home so kind of a waste of money. (might work better for someone with shorter hair as mine is very long but not sure) read more

Please do not go here. I would give zero stars if I could. I bought the special buy two get one free pass which was a huge mistake. I've gone twice now. The first time was okay, the second time (yesterday) the lady ruined my eyebrows. The first time I went I had spent months growing my eyebrows out. The lady kept asking if I wanted it shaped and I said no just a clean up. This time (yesterday) I wanted to get my eyebrows shaped a little bit and she told me that I couldn't get it shaped because I don't have enough hair? That made no sense to me since the last time I went the lady asked if I wanted it shaped. I also have very thick eyebrows. I mean I had a unibrow as a child. So she said she'll do clean up and I said don't make them any shorter. To be honest I have no idea why I let this woman work on my eyebrows since it's clear that she didn't know what she was doing. I specifically told her NOT to make my eyebrows shorter. She started working on my right brow and she completely took of the hairs on the end. She made a weird noise and I could tell right away that she messed up my brow. When I looked in the mirror I just saw a stub. I only have like 3/4 of the length of my eyebrow left. That may not sound like a lot but a majority of my hair after the arch is missing. She also made them so much thinner. The lengths are also uneven. The horrible part is after the first eyebrow you really don't have a choice but to let them do the second eyebrow. I look like an idiot with stubby eyebrows. It's devastating since I spent such a long time growing them back (I had always waxed/threaded them thinner until thicker brows came back in style) She could tell I was upset because she kept telling me to let my eyebrows grow back and asking me how long it takes. She was nervous laughing and just talking so much and making excuses. It did not help the situation. You just messed up my brows and keep repeating yourself about letting my eyebrows grow back???I honestly don't understand her reasoning. She also kept mentioning that my eyebrows are curly. They aren't. To make matters worse, they couldn't find me in their computer for the pass I bought. I gave her my ID and my number and when she couldn't find me she just nodded her head no and tried to hand my ID back. I kept the receipt for the original transaction and handed it to her. She had to get her coworker to find me in the system. After the entire experience I had to cry in the car. I have a wedding to go to and I look crazy. read more

After the lady didn't do a good job on my eyebrows, she kept arguing with me that it was my fault and wouldn't fix my eyebrows. I told her i am going to the other one across daiso to get my eyebrows fixed. She wanted me to pay in her stall and i told her you didn't even fix my eyebrows. Rani fixed my eyebrows and i paid for the services I received. Thanks to Rani it looked better than what the old lady from the other brow arc did. read more

The customer service was awful. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded. The older lady threading my eyebrows was dreadful rude. She asked me 5 TIMES to get my lip threaded. I politely declined even though I was irritated that she kept repeating herself. Then finally she ended with "well you'd be much prettier if you got rid of your other hair". I had to laugh. She finished off with trying to sell me on a membership she said next time you come back you can thread your lip. Thanks a**hole. Wouldn't dare step foot in this place again. read more

This review is for the Brow Arc located in the Tacoma Mall. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have found such an incredible establishment. I had been going to Gene Juarez for 10 years, paying $23 for one eyebrow wax. Don't get me wrong, I loved my wax service provider, but I decided to switch places after Gene Juarez raised their eyebrow service to $28 per session. At Brow Arc, not only are the prices extremely reasonable, but the actual service is outstanding. I can vouch for one woman. Her name is Jass and she knows exactly how to shape a person's brows according to their face shape. I am very picky when it comes to my eyebrows and she makes them look perfect every time. I've recommended Jass to a few family members and friends and they are very happy with her services as well (believe me, they are way pickier than I am). I'll be honest. There was one time Jass wasn't working and I was desperate to get my eyebrows threaded, so I went to another woman. Wow, big mistake. She threaded off a quarter of one of my eyebrows and made both eyebrows extremely thin. It did not go with my face structure whatsoever. I wish I could remember her name, but I don't. I will never go see another person if Jass isn't working. She works Monday-Thursday from open-4 pm, and on Fridays from open-7pm. She has weekends off. I would rather go on weekends, but she is worth taking time out of a busy weekday. An eyebrow wax costs $15, but you can purchase a punch card for $60 for 6 waxes. I have one more punch left on my card, then I am going to purchase the card with 6 waxes for eyebrows AND lips for $80. Just a side note, I don't think the threading of the eyebrows hurt much, but getting your lips threaded hurts. It's worth it though, because it's so clean looking when finished. I hope this review helps! I know you might be skeptical, because of some of the bad reviews on here, but don't knock it unless you try it. And if you have tried it before and didn't like it, then go see Jass before you decide to use a different form of hair removal. :) I believe it all depends on the person you go see, and she's legit! read more

Perfect eyebrows every time! I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. The ladies here have not been rude (not super friendly but normal customer service), the price is great if you become a member and get the prepaid services and most importantly, they NEVER mess up on my eyebrows! I started to come here since I'm not able to wax anymore and doesn't matter who I get, every lady does a great job. I've been coming here for over 4 yrs now and there hasn't been a day I walked out disappointed. Highly recommend the Southcenter location to anyone. read more

I feel bad writing this bc our ladies were very nice but gah. My sisters and I came in for henna and the two Indian ladies were very nice. My youngest sister got a medium sized flower on her arm which costed $11. Was very simple, but seemed quite stingy in terms of the thickness of the henna. It was very thin. My other sister and I weren't sure if we wanted ours at Brow Arc so we went to another nearby place Mor Beauty. I'm really glad I went there bc I saw an insane quality difference between the henna. The henna I got was gorgeous, intricate, and she was very generous with the ink. When I looked at my youngest' henna a couple hours later and it fell off, it was insanely pale orange like you couldn't see it. I know henna will primarily be orange and gradually get darker, but in comparison to mine, my quality just seemed better for the ink and the artistry. read more
