Interesting since I've long had one and use prescription shampoo from my dermatologist at my hair appointments. A cosmetology license would be useful, and might teach this unlicensed stylist that spreading lies about a person's health online is additional grounds for harassment charges. This is the last warning I will give before contacting law enforcement. I also would never take medical advice from a self-professed conspiracy theorist who by her own admission does not vaccinate her children, during a time when measles is spreading in the U.S, more than we've seen in decades -- an outbreak that began due to unvaccinated children in Texas. I was not going to elaborate on the damage, but seems I should. My LICENSED hair stylist friend had to remove glue out of most of my hair. I have photos and videos of my hair previously -- before this unlicensed stylist talked me into trying a frontal. I have new hair loss all over my head because the glue was extremely difficult to remove, See attached photo. The frontal install was terrible and showed lack of skill because my real hair was not protected. My licensed hair stylist friend is willing to testify about this damage and said he knew this person was unlicensed by the terrible frontal/sew-in install. Now off to enjoy my weekend! I originally did not share all of my documentation but this person seems unhinged. I will let the evidence speak for itself. I am done with this unlicensed stylist -- unless it becomes clear I need to contact law enforcement and file for for a peace order, which I'm seriously considering. I will include the screenshots from her last unhinged response if I do so. Potential customers: Ask yourself if this is the temperament you want in a hair stylist -- someone willing to slander clients online for telling the truth about how they were treated. -- 5/1/25 Adding additional screenshots to refute more lies from this business owner, who continues to not take accountability. I had purchased a packet of 10 for eyebrows, upper lip, under arm, and Brazilian; and had prepaid…read more$1170. My 3rd visit was for a 2:30 appointment on 8 Feb 24, at the Columbia site. My aesthetician was Ciara. I had my eyebrows, lips, under arms and Brazilian done. At soon as I walked in, I can smell weed on her, especially as her hands were close to my face, and I smelled it on her breathing on me. But that's not the worst. It felt like I was the first customer because the wax was really hot. I had mentioned it to her several times that it was hot and she even told me that she noticed it so when she did my eyebrows but she continued to do my eyebrows and upper lips. She even put more wax on top even after she said that she notice it. I did keep on letting her know that it was still too hot. She asked if this was the first time I've had wax done, and I told her - no. I've been getting waxed for the last 25 years. When I got to my car to check my face, I had large noticeable burnt spots under my eyebrows, both left and right and over my upper lip, both left and right. I went back to the store to show the manager, Francesca Moreira, to complain about the burn spots from Ciara. The manager told me that it looks a little red; and when I told her to look closer and that Ciara actually burnt skin off, she told me that she was not certified to say so or not. It does not take a genius to see that skin was taken from the hot wax. There's a huge difference. I'm not sure how she is the manager of a team of aestheticians, and not certified just to see that Ciara, or other aestheticians, actually took skin off when Ciara waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. I had to ask to talk to the Regional Manager, Tony Badolato, but she only offered to provide me an email. I had to call back several times because she provided two incorrect emails where it was undeliverable because it didn't exist. Finally, the front desk provided me with the correct one. It took 3x times to get a hold of the regional manager. I had to go to work with burnt scabs on my face. I cried upset over the whole experience. Bottom line, I will not be coming back to any European Wax location. This experience destroyed any expectation I might have with any other aesthetician they might have on staff or the managers they hire who don't have training or is certified in the service they provide. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I did get reimbursed but not until after I was asked to provide pictures for proof by the Regional Manager. It was a horrific experience. Never again.
