After searching yelp for a stylist that specializes in microlink installs I stumbled upon Cearra. After reading reviews and her meeting my yelp rating scale, I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Cearra of Vanity By Coca, and she did an amazing job! Not only am I in love with the results, but the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Her space was warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. Spending time at her salon was so therapeutic. Her positive energy, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients truly set her apart. It's rare to find someone who is not only talented at what they do but also creates an atmosphere that leaves you feeling refreshed and uplifted. 5/2/25: Yelp seems to have a photo issue. Interesting since I've long had one and use prescription shampoo from my dermatologist at my hair appointments. A cosmetology license would be useful, and might teach this unlicensed stylist that spreading lies about a person's health online is additional grounds for harassment charges. This is the last warning I will give before contacting law enforcement. I also would never take medical advice from a self-professed conspiracy theorist who by her own admission does not vaccinate her children, during a time when measles is spreading in the U.S, more than we've seen in decades -- an outbreak that began due to unvaccinated children in Texas. I was not going to elaborate on the damage, but seems I should. My LICENSED hair stylist friend had to remove glue out of most of my hair. I have photos and videos of my hair previously -- before this unlicensed stylist talked me into trying a frontal. I have new hair loss all over my head because the glue was extremely difficult to remove, See attached photo. The frontal install was terrible and showed lack of skill because my real hair was not protected. My licensed hair stylist friend is willing to testify about this damage and said he knew this person was unlicensed by the terrible frontal/sew-in install. Now off to enjoy my weekend! I originally did not share all of my documentation but this person seems unhinged. I will let the evidence speak for itself. I am done with this unlicensed stylist -- unless it becomes clear I need to contact law enforcement and file for for a peace order, which I'm seriously considering. I will include the screenshots from her last unhinged response if I do so. Potential customers: Ask yourself if this is the temperament you want in a hair stylist -- someone willing to slander clients online for telling the truth about how they were treated. -- 5/1/25 Adding additional screenshots to refute more lies from this business owner, who continues to not take accountability. My choice to give her a try with my frontal install is because whenever I saw her in person or pics she posted of herself, her own install was flawless & she told me she styled her hair herself. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. My experience was terrible. I found her on Groupon. I just wanted my eyelashes done for my birthday. I went to her website to check out pictures to see if she was legit. I booked the Appointment with a deposit to make sure she had availability. After making the appoint through her official website she pushed my appt for tomorrow from 2:30 to 5pm, kinda unprofessional but I tried to be flexible. The day of the appointment, she again pushed my time to 5:30 instead. Still tried to be flexible. I went to Groupon to purchase my voucher. I have an order number, i even have the voucher. She said she didn't see the voucher EVEN THOUGH I SHOWED HER THE RECEIPT AND EVERYTHING. She refused to accept that maybe it was delay in the system. If you're particular like me, you've used Yelp and several search engines to find someone that's going to be meticulous about their results. I was very excited to see Vanity By Coca provided evidence of her work. Needless to say, I gave her a chance and she didn't disappoint! I now have a scheduled reoccurring appointment. When I got there, I was indecisive about the type of lashes that would compliment me, she gave me a details on all lash types and recommended the Hybrid lashes! I love them!!! I'm very sensitive to most products, but didn't experience any allergic reactions to the glue/products. The lashes will last up to three weeks, but I'm a little fastidious, so I get a refill every 2 weeks! Bottom line...you won't be disappointed! I highly recommend Coca's services! read more

I found Coca last minute on yelp after a previously scheduled stylist abruptly canceled my appointment. I was hesitant (I never used yelp for hair), but her reviews were great! I contacted Coca, and she was able to get me in the next day!!!! What!! She is very professional and provided advice on the well-being of my natural hair, as well as aftercare for my sew-in. This is the best Black hair salon that I have been to in this area. As a seasoned woman I expect a certain level of courtesy and professionalism from a business and the owner did not disappoint!!! In fact, in addition to hair she provides a variety of services. I like the fact that I can easily schedule my appointments!!! Further, she makes use of trusted social media platforms for digital transactions which is important to me. I get the cost information before scheduling an appointment and then after she is done I make my payment while still sitting in her chair! The convenience can't be beat!
