Visiting from out of town but needed a quick brow clean up. I saw this salon and decided to check it out. The wait time was minimal and the facilities were immaculate. This place is GREAT. Since they recently opened in Encintas I go every two/three weeks and the staff does a great job with my lip and brow threading. Clean place, perfect Cust service and in-and-out in 10 min. They open Sundays too and until 7pm most week days, very convenient for full time workers like me. The place is very clean and nicely decorated inside. The ladies working inside are polite and did a great job on my upper lip and eyebrows. The prices are fair. On the downside: the shop smells strongly of mothballs. I also would have liked to see the ladies was or clean their hands in front of me or worn gloves. I had been going to the Carlsbad location for abut a year and was thrilled that they opened a salon in Encinitas. I have seen Gina and Maliha and both are excellent and do beautiful work. I usually can walk right in, or at the most have had 2 people ahead of me, so there is very little wait time. I actually prefer that no appointment is needed because then I can swing by when I'm in the area and have some time. I go every 2-3 weeks to keep those perfect brows. The pricing is excellent and it is a very cute and clean salon. I don't think I will ever go back to waxing. Threading is much more precise and I get better results. read more

My 12-year old needed her brows done. We've been everywhere but her skin just can't take the wax. Waxing from European Wax salon and Ulta resulted in huge blisters. Really awful looking. I was very excited when this place opened up in Encinitas and was happy with their service during my first visit and was planning to write a review after I become a "regular" and recommend it to my friends in the area. But the last two times I came by - once a weekday afternoon and once a weekend - both times there was 1 person threading and 4 or more people in the store. There was no way for me to know from someone working at the store or the waiting list how many people were still waiting for the service or just waiting for a friend or family member. There is also a note about how if you put your name down but leave the store, you lose your place. And with my phone losing all cell phone connection like in no place else, that made it really difficult ordeal...to wait for 40-50 minutes inside the store with no cell signal...for a service that I expected to be a walk-in. So finally both times, I ended up leaving. I also saw other people leaving as well without getting their eyebrows done. It is too bad the convenience of having this store in Encinitas did not really work out and a shame that I ended up driving to San Diego to get this service. read more

Gina was my eyebrow expert & she was awesome. She checks in to see how you are feeling along the way. I've had threading done and it's a little uncomfortable but wayyyy wayyy better than waxing! It lasts longer and hair does grow finer the more you do it. I vowed never to wax brows after nightmare irritation marks. Anyways, Pros: extremely reasonable rates, clean salon, friendly eyebrow expert who listens to what you want & gives you frequent-buyer card and menu of services at the end, walk-ins welcome, great location for Encinitas area. Cons: NONE that I can think of :) Gina is also gentle, not true of all brow threaders. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I hope their location succeeds, would hate to see them go due to high rent :( read more
