Very clean environment. Eyebrow threading is a walk in basis. Everything else is booked by appt. Price is reasonable. 12$. They prefer cash but card is an option. Didn't even get nicked, my first time here. So that is a plus. Will come back in a few weeks. Maybe I'll splurge a little bit more and get some eyebrow tint for next time. Lash lifts are about 75$. When I first found Brow Heaven, I was in heaven. I was leaving my brow tech because she hiked up her prices and it felt too expensive. That was when I found Brow Heaven. Sure, it was 30 minutes away from me, but I really liked it. The first handful of times, I really enjoyed. However, once I realized I liked certain brow techs and wanted to book with them, I wasn't allowed to. They seem very cautious and do not like to reveal whether a certain tech is in or not. So you could book at appointment but you wouldn't know if the brow tech you wanted would be in that day. That seemed really strange to me. At my old brow studio, I would always call ahead to make sure I didn't waste my time/gas if my favorite brow tech wasn't there. They'd always let me know if she was or wasn't. Brow Heaven's appointment policy, not booking the tech you want ahead of time, would've been fine. If I liked everyone's work. Because I couldn't get the techs I wanted, I would have to go with whoever was there. My brows started to get progressively thinner and I have thick brows. There was a time when I was in, and saw a tech I liked and tried to wait for her. Only for her to tell me she was only taking appointments. I think they do this to keep a steady rotation, so all of their techs have a chance to earn money. But this didn't work for me. I'm not gonna drive 30mins, and then not even be able to book who I want. I decided to go back to my old brow tech and that was the best decision I could've made. Seeing how other brow studios were, made me appreciate them so much more. I can book with my preferred tech and because of the consistency of working with one sole tech, my eyebrows look better than ever. I would've liked for Brow Heaven to have worked for me, but I guess it wasn't in the cards for me! read more

I have been coming to this place since I moved to Long Beach four years ago! They always take care of my eyebrows and make them look clean. They are affordable, and you can get $2 off with a Yelp check-in. They are quick but detailed. I rarely have to wait longer than 5 minutes. Parking can be a little tricky since it's street parking on a busy main street. But there is a neighborhood you can turn into where you can find parking. The ladies who come off as genuinely nice are always the better ones. The ones who give motherly, soft vibes are exceptionally super detailed with my brows. read more

In no way do i mean to harm the rating/reputation of this place, just wanted to share why I stopped coming here after 3 years. My go-to person was Rachana - she is amazing and always loved my eyebrows when she did them. Things changed for me when she stopped taking requests (in other words I can't have a preference of who I want to do my eyebrows). I usually like to stick with one person to do my brows especially if they're good. When she'd be busy, I would make it clear that I wanted to wait for her but she would embarrass and pressure me into doing with someone else "they're all just as good blah blah.. right in front of them" which I get but you don't have to indirectly force me to do my brows with someone else. you are the reason I used to go to that place but I was like ok i'll try the others - there was always something I didn't like about them. I've also seen people walk in and insist on waiting for her and she'd make it work, so I guess there's preference for some people but not all? Anyways I figured I wouldn't want to spend my money somewhere I feel forced to do with someone other than who I prefer so I found a nearby place with someone who respects my wishes. read more

I've been loyal to their services for months now because the work is good. However, I have decided to change my rating because I refuse to stand for the way I'm spoken to almost every time I am serviced at this location. The reason for my rating is the lack of professionalism that is maintained throughout. Every time I come the owner insists on me trying someone new people to service me. I'm sure we've all let someone do that before and regretted it. My face is it something I do not experiment with. I don't appreciate when Rajna, the owner, becomes defensive when I do not want to have people who have never serviced me, service me. I am very particular with who I select services from. This is why I call ahead to ensure that the only two people who I trust are available. Just as you would go to a nail salon and choose a specific nail tech I expect the same treatment from an eyebrow threading service. Their website says they take appointments, however, because she highly asked for as she does good work, she doesn't take appointments for eyebrows but rather higher paid services. I don't believe it is fair that because I don't select higher paying services I am not serviced by her. If that is the case she should specify that online. One particular example I recall clearly that was extremely unprofessional was when she was threading my eyebrows, mind you she was available at the time. But her next appointment showed up, she finished threading my eyebrows and had someone else jump in to thread my lip without notice. She did not complete the servcie but chose to jump straight to her client with a high paying service. That definitely did not make me feel like a valued customer. I was at least expecting an apology but never got one. I've been nothing but cordial and patient, it's unfortunate that every time I request someone in particular, she becomes defensive. I'm often interrupted mid sentences, and given excuses. The work is good from the two people I've ever let service me here, however the communication and professionalism need improvement. It's not even the other ladies that work that need to work on this it's the owner herself. This probably doesn't affect them losing me as a client, but the purpose of this post is to bring awareness so that no other clients are mistreated as so, or put in an uncomfortable situation. I have been coming here for years and have had more then one issue. The first time Rancha burned my underarms and offered me a discount if I wanted to return. I stayed away for 6 months, but not being familiar with other options I came back. I only see 1 person. It's unfortunate that today that same lady that burned my underarms before was the only one available and prior to my wax told me if it has been more then 1 month there is an extra charge for waxing. I haven't gotten my brows threaded since before the pandemic. I've just been managing them on my own with either tweezers of a brow razor but I felt like it was definitely time to get someone skilled to tackle them. I came across this place since I was in the area and thought I would give them a try since they offer a $2 discount when you check into yelp. I was planning to get my upper lip threaded as well since my peach fuzz was beginning to show. The tech that worked on me took her time and made sure that I got the chance to look at my brows and asked if I wanted more off. I'm grateful she didn't go so thin before asking, she actually left it thicker than my preference and I requested her to thread some more off my brows. I'm not sure if it was because I haven't threaded in such a long time or not, but I felt like the process was so painful. Normally it doesn't feel like much to me when I got to my usual spot but I literally was handed a tissue this time to wipe the tears falling. How embarrassing lol My brows came out to $11 and the upper lip was $5. With the $2 off yelp check in, I paid $14 which is a great deal in my opinion. They also offer a point system, you just need to register with your phone number and it will eventually unlock deals within their shop! The atmosphere is really nice, they greet you immediately when you walk in. They also have popular pop songs and the waiting area is very clean. This place is out of the way for me but I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area again! Also just an FYI, they are currently asking for cash or venmo as payment options. read more

I would not come here for waxing intimate areas. They are not hygienic. I came to get my eyebrows done but also needed a touch up as I get Brazilians done regularly. I inquired and the lady said they did it for $45, which I thought was a very cheap price. I though "what the heck" and decided to give them a try. It was the most painful experience ever. She barely put any wax and just yanked it at ever direction. She did not hold the skin taught no did she apply pressure after to relieve pain. No technique whatsoever. When I looked down I was horrified to see she was using the same wax strip over and OVER. Meaning, she was putting fresh wax on the area waxing it and leaving all the hair on there and using the same strip to wax other parts. She used the same strip for my entire session! I was disgusted!! Go to real professionals if you want to get your cookie waxed. UPDATE: THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW! I have been coming here for the last year to get my brows done. The fact that you don't remember shows you don't know your clients at all. This was my first time going for a Brazilian. I am even enrolled in your point system with my phone number and had not gone in a while and received this text message stating I would get a discount if I went which is the only reason it prompted me to go again and decided to try the Brazilian on a whim. It was my birthday weekend and I drive a wheelchair van for 15 hours a day. I was an hour away and called to make sure they were staying open till seven. They told me they were and I said I would be there around! 745. They said they were open till seven and they'd be here, I walk in at 7:53 and they said sorry we closed already. I said I just drove an hour over here and you told me you stayed open till seven. they told me I could come back in the morning. I told them I would never be back. It's the principal of the matter what is really closed your hand to my cash or your teeth to breaking the thread. It takes seven minutes and technically, I was in there before seven. you just lost a loyal customer not that you care because you got out of there five minutes faster. read more

So, just moved to the Long Beach area. Had to find a new threading location. I'm picky about where I go. I've gone places where they leave looking like you're suspicious about everything. That one whole eyebrow raised higher than the other. This place quickly knew what I wanted just by seeing my eyebrows. The wait time was minimal but you can make a reservation. Plenty of street parking. Staff is friendly and they pricing is great. The staff here know how to threat without trying to remove your skin too. I'd recommend this spot for everyone. read more

I haven't been here in about two years because I no longer live close by. My current brow place messed up my brows and made them very uneven. I happened to be in the area today and I am super happy with what they were able to accomplish. My eyebrows are much more even and she was kind enough to ask me 2-3 times about my preferences and showed me in the mirror what she was doing. This shop is very clean, sanitary and aesthetic. The prices are very good considering the service, etc. I got here right when they opened and waited about 20 minutes because they were already busy, but it was worth the wait. I am a regular customer here and usually receive decent service. However, yesterday 9/18 I had a 4:40 pm appointment and due to the road closures around the area was running late. I called the business and asked them if it was okay to arrive around 4:45 and they said yes. I was in at 4:47 and when the person at the desk realized I had to get three services, she started being rude and repeating that they close at 5pm and had she known I had to get these services she would have said no over the phone. Also asked me to pay before getting the services. I understand they close at 5pm and I was a bit late. I would have no problem if she would politely refuse service or would have let me know over the phone. My issue is that she was so rude / impolite and made me feel so uncomfortable and as if they were doing me a favor. PS - all three were done within 10mins and I was out at 5pm. read more

Have been here several times and I am happy with the results. I (not by choice) have had three different women thread my brows and have been satisfied with the results so they are pretty consistent with results. I have been lucky to have yet waited an outrageous amount of time for service but I avoid days and times that would have a high volume of people. Also, I really like that they offer appointments. I gave them 4 stars because when you request a specific person you are redirected to whoever is available. This is the only place I've been to that does this. It gives you the idea that the person you requested may not want to thread your brows making it a bit uncomfortable. Other than this, I definitely recommend them. read more
