He took the time to educate me on traditional Japanese tattooing, the different styles, the symbolism, and what sets that art form apart. My piece is a 7/10 sleeve featuring a dragon with maple leaves, and every element has meaning behind it. That's something I genuinely didn't expect going in, and it made the whole experience so much more personal. What really sets Bernard apart is his attention to detail and how he designs around your body. The tattoo flows naturally, it doesn't look like something copied off a flash sheet or thrown on. Every piece he does is completely unique, and you can tell he's thinking about the whole picture, not just the session in front of him. The shop itself is always clean and comfortable. The tattoo is on the rib cage and everybody around was telling me how painful is, so I shared this with David.
