Just finished my touch up appointment with Rachel today! Prior to the touch-up, I saw her for a microblading session. From the get go, Rachel has been absolutely wonderful. Rachel did an amazing job on my eyebrows! I felt it took a little longer because the natural shape of my eyebrows were uneven and we had to do some re-measuring. Her service is located in a medical plaza inside a cosmetic surgery office. She's also very friendly and welcoming and really took her time. So my pain tolerance is pretty high, but she applied some numbing cream before she started the microblading procedure and there was no pain at all; albeit, when the numbing cream effect was wearing off, she'd reapply more. However, I am very happy with this experience as it is my first time getting microbladed eyebrows. I'll update in a month for touch up (if needed). read more

Let's be real, getting a semi-permanent tattoo on your face is a little scary! You don't want just anybody doing it. Rachel is exactly who you want to do your microblading. She masterful, and she's a perfectionist! She redrew my eyebrow shape like three times before blading, each time taking measurements and examining angles to make sure the new brows would look natural. She puts numbing cream on your eyebrows at several points during the process so you shouldn't feel too much. You do hear a bit of a scratching sound and feel some pressure with each hair stroke so it's an interesting experience. The healing process is something else! At first your new brows will look super pronounced and dark. Don't be alarmed, you'll go through various stages of healing and it will eventually settle into a lighter, natural looking color and look. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the result! So I'm from Arizona and I've been looking for someone reliable to get my eyebrows done from, I've had different experiences in the past and really didn't want to just go to anyone. I already get my facials done in California so it was worth the search so I could get both done... I like the natural look towards the end of my eyebrows and a little more structured in the front. Rachel knew exactly the style of eyebrow for me and we even sat to draw different variations that might give my face different looks She was also very accommodating as when she had first met me, I had an auburn color to my hair and when we were done with consulting shape etc, I had dyed my hair black so we spot tested (just smudged some of the pigment on my skin with no knife) and she made sure to get the right color for my new hair. My hairs are sparse in front and I wanted more drawn hairs there. Rachel and I drew out that too and she made sure I was happy with the shape etc before we got to numbing! I've had aestheticians not numb all the way, had the numbing wear off on one eyebrow before they started the other, and colors wear off strangely. And these were from people with licenses, their own practices, and very regular clientele. But Rachel was very precise in calculating numbing time and going through 2 steps of numbing so I wouldn't be in pain Honestly I'm so glad that I went with her and not some big salon where they sometimes overlook detail and precision for the sake of getting as many clients in as possible. I recommend her to all of my AZ friends (it's very common for them to come to Cali for lash extensions etc) ----TL;DR Rachel is fantastic, kind, and cares about the way you look possibly more than you do! read more

I just did my touch up session done after a month and took my mom for her first microblading session. My mom's eyebrows have been tattooed about 20 or so years ago twice! So the bluish/grey tones of the remnants of her previous tattoo made it challenging for the color to be covered up.
