    Fried Mushrooms
    Lauren M.

This deli is close to my office and it is the perfect place for a quick stop and a home cooked meal. The restaurant is family-owned and they are super nice to all the customers. The prices are so reasonable and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Today I had the Cuban pressed hot. You get a generous serving of meat and the bread tastes like it was baked this morning. We also had a chicken philly and the fried mushrooms and they were great!- just be careful cause they come out piping hot.

The Office Ham, hot on rye

I came here for lunch on Monday, and liked it so much, I came back for lunch the very next day! Monday, I tried The Office Ham (toasted on rye), which is thin sliced baked deli ham, Swiss cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato, gourmet mustard, mayonnaise, and your choice of onion roll or rye. It was really delicious! Next time I shall ask for the melt. Today, we split The Million Dollar Round Table, The Wall Street Journal, and an order of cheese fries with bacon. All were really delicious! The Million Dollar Round Table is listed as a triple decker sandwich with ham, turkey, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo, served on pumpernickel bread. First off, it's a double decker, and even that is actually a little misleading, because the middle slice of pumpernickel only separates the lettuce, tomato, and bacon from the turkey and ham. That third slice is a little useless in my opinion, but it was still delicious. I heard someone order it without the middle slice of bread, and that's what I recommend. The pumpernickel they have is delicious, but that's just too much bread in comparison to the other ingredients. The Wall Street Journal is thin sliced roast beef, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and mild tangy BBQ sauce served on a hoagie roll. I'm not a huge fan of barbecue sauce, so this was not my favorite, yet still pretty good. Again, a little heavy on bread. The cheese fries with bacon were mediocre. The cheese is pumped out, similar to that of a gas station. In addition to the sides they can make in the kitchen, there is a potato chip rack. There are fountain drinks, as well as a drink cooler. The parking lot is tight, but there's reserved spots just for the deli. The dining area is clean, and the service is fast and friendly. Overall, it's a nice deli to get a good sandwich, at a decent price.

Came here for a light breakfast before going grocery shopping and I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed. The staff was not very friendly and the food looked like it came from the frozen food section and was just reheated. It was very cheep place where you get what you pay for.

Friendly service, my gyro was good. Would have preferred my lettuce and tomatoes chopped but it was not a deal breaker.

This is an ok place in my opinion, the portions are small. It's a bit pricy. But it not a bad place. Nothing out standing.

Best egg salad sandwich around!!! Their breakfast cuban with bacon, egg, and cheese (pressed) is also a favorite. So good.

You have to try the hummingbird and princess cakes!! I finally had the chance to cater from wrights and was beyond impressed. I only needed a few things to add to what was already planned and went with a veggie tray and a couple cakes. The veggie tray is a fresh, plentiful and unique selection with a stand out homemade dill dip for serving. The alpine cakes were also a huge hit! Service for lunch is always fairly quick and with the recent renovation, the seating area is nice. The service for catering is helpful and quick. I had all my questions answered and suggestions were given based on my needs which were spot on.

While the flavor was great as always, I was disappointed and frankly concerned to find four pieces of pecans mixed into it. I know most kitchens have cross-contamination warnings, but finding 4 pieces of nuts in a dish where they don't belong is a significant issue. I'm embarrassed because I shared this with a friend, and while I'm incredibly relieved they aren't allergic, it was still an unpleasant surprise for them to bite down on a pecan. More importantly, if I had shared this with someone who had a tree nut allergy, this could have turned into a life-threatening medical emergency. Ultimately, the purchase was a waste of money because we were too grossed out to finish it and ended up throwing it away. Below is a photo of the last pecan we found before tossing the rest; there could have easily been more. I'm bringing this up because I love your food and want to make sure the kitchen is aware of this safety lapse so it doesn't happen to someone else.

I was feeling like getting some food from my people so thought I'd try this German spot. Up first was the #3 Reuben for $13.95. I love me a good Reuben. However, this is not the place to get a Reuben. Super thin, barely any meat or flavor. It is mostly eating bread. Avoid. Up next, I can't remember what the other sandwich was, but it was bad. I think it was a Cuban, but not sure. It was straight bread. Take a look at the pic. Now, the only above average food item I tried was the German potato salad. I would come back here only for that. Tons of German beers here and souvenirs.

I thought the inside decor was really cool and it was basically set up like a New York City deli. Even in the parking lot it had Knicks, jets and Giants parking lot signs. Stopped in on a Wednesday around 3 PM and wasn't very busy. TVs everywhere and looks like a good place to watch a sporting event, but I did notice they close at 9 PM. Not sure if those hours are still correct. My lunch was fantastic and I started out with a bowl of matzoh ball soup for eight dollars and then I highly recommend this huge deli sub called the Cranston Kevin. Huge sandwich for $20 and worth it and the potato salad is pretty good as well. I added a picture of the sandwich which is almost like a French dip, but it's got turkey on it as well. Our server was Lauren and she even said it's her favorite sandwich on the menu. On the other side of the restaurant, they have a huge bakery as well, but didn't grab anything but did some window shopping of all the great stuff they had in the bakery.
