Delivered cold 7:15 PM not 7:04. Driver's tele disconnected!
    David M.

I've ordered through the Jersey Mike app twice where my order was either delivered late/cold or not at all. Jersey Mike's takes no responsibility for orders placed through their app or the condition the food arrives in. Why would I ever order from Jersey Mike's a 3rd time? That would be insane! The very though of Jersey Mike's turns my stomach now because it's associated with a disgusting cold steak on soggy bread! App deleted

Very celiac friendly! I went here on a Sunday afternoon and I could see the shop was preparing a large order. I made sure they still had time to make accommodations for making a sandwich for a celiac and everyone was very kind and accommodating. I was not treated as a bother and they very thoroughly wiped down the slicer for me. They are amazing about cross here and my sandwich was made on a udis roll with fresh gloves and on its own tray to avoid any contamination. They also had UDIs cookies and Lays if you want other gluten free additions to your meal. I got the Italian sub and it was amazing, this is the first time I've been able to safely eat a sub since I was diagnosed and it made me feel normal for a minute:) I looked up what subs could be made gluten free in advance and it's a ton! The location is clean and right next to Dunderbox, so super convenient if you go to USF. I will definitely be a regular here!!!!

    cappacuolo - hot ham.

Jersey Mike's Sub is my favorite sandwich store. Because they are the only one that carry hot ham (cappacuolo). I have looking for many places and try to buy and slice myself but was not successful. The cappacuolo here is bit spicy and is in good taste. I always orders my sandwich just cappacuolo, lettuce, tomato, and the secret ingredient - bacon!!! I like to order them in wheat bread and spice up my sandwich Mike's way - oil, red vinaigrette, salt, pepper, and mike secret spice. No other thing added such as mayo. This is YUM. The sub menu also has the club supreme, original Italian, roast beef and provolone, the super sub. Other than the sub I like above, I like the super sub which is No. 5 sub. Provolone, ham, prosciuttini and cappacuolo and I alway add bacon. This is the restaurant after I have greasy food the night before and I come here to redeem myself. Interesting to said I am redeem with two strip of bacons. Other than the cold sub, they also have hot sub such as Steak Philly, big kahuna cheese steak, meat ball, chicken Parmesan, Reuben , chipotle. Lake many sub store start adding the frito chip to create crunchy feeling. I think this direction has ruined many year of tradition.

If you're in the area and looking for a delicious Sub sandwich I recommend coming here. The customer service is always pleasant. When you walk in your welcomed by a friendly staff. The meat and cheese are sliced right in front of you and the bread is baked fresh everyday. The sub's are always made fresh right in front of you and very filling. You can also call in your order before pick up or order online. MY FAVS: #43 Chipotle Cheese steak Sub: steak, grilled onions, peppers, and chipotle mayo. I add jalapeños for some heat. #9 Club Supreme Roast beef, turkey, swiss cheese, bacon, mayo and of course "Mike's way." I also add banana peppers and jalapeños for some heat. *Mike's Way: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, oil blend and spices.

Once you eat here, you'll never need to go to another sub shop again. With veggies sliced fresh daily, and meats and cheeses that are sliced right in front of you, you can know that the subs are as fresh as they come! Working there has made me realize how fresh everything actually is. We prep all of our onions, lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers, etc. fresh and prep only the meats and cheeses that we will need for the day so that they are ready to use. We bake all of our breads and cookies the day that they are to be used, as well as make tuna and chicken salads fresh. Love the attention to detail, it makes me proud to work at a place like this. Several deals that are offered: Mondays: Medical Monday - $5.99 for a regular sub, with a chip and drink combo for all medical personnel All day, every day: USF students, staff and faculty with USF ID - $6.99 for a regular sub, chip and drink combo, or $9.99 for a giant sub, chip and drink combo. Military discount (current and veteran) - 20% USAA employees - 10% Non-USF students - 10% Plaza employees - 10%

We chose cake slices as there are many options and everyone had a favorite. The cakes give me a homestyle feel. Like homemade cake and icing. Gourmet southern goodness. The cakes are slathered with lots of icing, which I mostly removed because I like my cake without. Which to me tells me how good the cake is that it can stand alone without the frosting. Hummingbird, lemon, chocolate, and carrot cakes reign supreme. The frosting on the chocolate cake makes the cake, it's fantastic. We also tried the massive cinnamon rolls which are 5 stars! I will definitely be visiting Wright's for cakes for the next party. It's sure to be a party favorite! And excited to get back to try some sandwiches, the Alpine cake, and Chill Bros icecream!

I arrived around 2:20 p.m. and was let in by a worker at the front door, who told me they were closing shortly and suggested I head to the deli first if that was what I wanted. Once I walked in, however, a cashier yelled to me that they were closed. I was a little confused because I had just been let in by a worker who knew I was coming inside. From there, the experience felt a bit chaotic. There were quite a few people in the store, and I felt like the workers were very displeased by my presence. I honestly felt like I was a bother. I completely understand that I arrived close to closing, so I tried to be respectful of their time and rushed through the store to grab a few items. I had driven an hour to get there, so I wanted to at least make the most of the trip. When I went to check out, I initially got in one line, and the cashier was finishing up with the customer already there and directed me to another line, so I followed her instructions. I had a basket with my items and wasn't sure if I was supposed to empty it myself. There wasn't an obvious place to leave the empty basket, and the cashier never indicated that she would take it from me. I apologized and explained that it was my first time there. She told me that next time I should come during the week so I could browse more. As I was leaving, I noticed so many people trying to enter the store and being turned away because it was now past closing. That made me think Mazzaro's may want to reconsider its Saturday hours. They are clearly a very popular and well-known store, yet being open from only 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays makes it difficult for people who work typical Monday-Friday, full-time hours to visit. I take responsibility for not checking the hours before making the drive, and I understand that the employees were probably ready to go home. However, I still think there is a difference between enforcing closing time and making a customer feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed during my visit, and it put a damper on the entire experience.

Got the roast beef club on cuban bread, added mayo and pickles, and it was toasted to perfection. The roast beef was so rare and tender, the bacon was one of the best bacons I've ever had (insanely crispy but not oily, and maintained it's crispiness the entire meal even though I'm such a slow eater). The tomatoes and lettuce were firm--didn't squeeze out of the sandwich or make a mess. And I'm usually not a fan of pickles but it was so fresh and added a flavor to break up the meat + bread taste! The service was phenomenal. It's a family-owned restaurant and everyone is so nice. The guy who took my order was so patient and helpful (I was having major decision paralysis). The vibe is clean, spacious, cute, and super homey / themed. It's also part grocery with German bevs, snacks, and dried goods (and also fresh goods behind the counter and on the menu ofc). I def want to go back and pick up some goods to bring home to my family and I will def be back again for lunch!!!

However, this is not the place to get a Reuben. Super thin, barely any meat or flavor. It is mostly eating bread. Avoid. Up next, I can't remember what the other sandwich was, but it was bad. I think it was a Cuban, but not sure. It was straight bread. Take a look at the pic. Now, the only above average food item I tried was the German potato salad. I would come back here only for that. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.
