I've been to a handful of tattoo shops that are crammed and cluttered and this is the opposite plenty of space plenty of lighting and a clean bathroom for customers to use not to mention they have a vending machine for snacks before your tattoo. I needed a new artist and walked in to check it out to see what was up the artist " Fatboi " was working and said he could squeeze me in before the day was done. Not only did you do great artwork on my arm. He was very nice and understanding of what I was trying to accomplish with the Art I showed him. It's been three weeks since I got my tattoo and I've already been in a second time both tattoos are healing perfectly. I probably should've listened to the rumors from people about this place or maybe just this location. I had a tattoo artist Andre's, I think he was brand new because he's not a listed artist on their page. I got 2 tattoos $80/each, now before you come at me about hand tattoos, i know the myth.,. I have 7 hand/finger tattoos PRIOR to this visit where I got 2 additional hand tattoos. My previous 7 tattoos have not bled, faded, etc, they're perfect. This tattoo artist took over an hour for 2 SMALL tattoos...a "divine" tattoo quite small, and then did a "999" on my right hand. Both tattoos he did not even go deep enough to make the tattoo stick. See the picture. It's been maybe 2/3 weeks and it's faded already and not connected to the skin it just falls off. Never coming back here, the dude at the desk was rude and Lazy. The girls walking around have resting *insert word here* faces and give off rude mean girl vibes. better off going to: BUZZBOMB TATTOO & PIERCING on Venice boardwalk. 99% of my tattoos are from them & I've had several different artists do them & 5+ years quality is fresh like new quality. read more

Just an update... unfortunately they really disappointed. I went there and brought the issue to their attention. I called before I went in and the manager literally said "what do you want me to do about the past man". This is the most unprofessional establishment I've ever been to and it's because it's ran by a bunch of kids. They had a more annoyed attitude rather than an apologetic reaction. I even brought it up to the artist who did the tattoo. Nobody really apologized, especially not the artist he just ignored me and went in the back room. This was only a $60 tattoo and I simply wanted my money back because of the mistake THEY made. They also kept asking if I doubled checked... I did double check I brought it to my artists attention and they reassured me that it was the right size and that I was incorrect. Also Im not a tattoo artist. Shouldnt they know the sizing difference? I only got back $20 which is better than nothing but come on. They claim that I still need to be charged because I still got the tattoo just in a smaller size, fine. But if this is off a flash sheet and only specific designs are 2x2 why was it printed as a 1x1?? Unprofessional and unorganized. They also said there was a communication barrier between the artist because he only speaks Spanish.... That has nothing to do with the fact that you work in Los Angeles and should be able to communicate with everyone and if he couldn't even understand me then they should've switched artists. So yesterday, i came in for a $10 piercing and i had to wait 5 hours in line, which is understandable thats not the point of this review. Going into the chair to get my nose piercing the girl marks and it was so off, i look at it and i tell her if she can make it even. marks it again and the same thing this happened 3 times. I should have followed my gut and not trusted her because she acted like me asking her to make my piercing even bothered her. Like you did not need to have that attitude with me and the piercing she gave me is so unacceptable. its really bad, how disappointing i waited 5 hours for this. she did my tongue straight i give her that but still if you didnt care about what you were doing to my face you should have had someone else do it, she didnt even clean my piercing after either, just not a good experience, welp u get what you pay for read more

I got a tattoo here last month a small butterfly on my finger they charged me $180 for it and during the healing it started to completely peel off it wasn't just healing it was coming off the way fake tattoos do, I called the shop and they were very rude on the phone but told me I could come back in to get it looked at and see what they can do. They said to let it finish healing and to come back. I did that but when I came back they charged me another $80 to go over it once again, the artist admitted that it should not have done that, I understand that finger tattoos fade with time the workers kept trying to tell me that that's normal but it was literally peeling off in chunks that is not normal. Now that it has been retouched it's been about 2 weeks and the same thing happened the tattoo is half gone and I refuse to go back to pay another $80 for such a small tattoo. Planned to get my Dahlias pierced for a while and finally went to get them done which was a total nightmare situation. They were completely crooked, and I settled for a repierce which also ended up being crooked. I eventually was recommended to a different location and even then I still had to get repierced on one side. I know it's a tough spot but Jesus Christ. I got my back dermals in a different brown pride shop but I'm not quite sure what went wrong with my left dermal , I called and told the man on the phone what happened he answered professionally and got asked to come in so ROSE can look at it , rose was honestly the best rose was understanding and very patient with me and careful when removing the dermal that was sunk into my skin and asked me to come back a few days after to replace the dermal . It's been a few hours since rose replaced my dermal , she had a light hand I felt zero to no pain when getting my back dermals done by rose DEFINITELY THE BEST MOST UNDERSTANDING PIERCER and I am happy how this was handled . Pricing is not set by artist, manager sets price, and starts off at 80$+ even a simple letter design with a small symbol came out to 120 so not worth it at all, if you're looking for simple work I would recommend any other place but this, and if you're looking for a great quality micro tattoo with color and small details I would recommend going to "Black tower" pricing is almost as much as this but with even better quality and more sizable adjustments and even way better ratings than this, for this location you're mainly paying for the aesthetic not the actual tattoo itself read more
