Bryan squeezed me in for a forearm tattoo yesterday, and the experience was great. Despite the appreciation for the "old masters," the shop was modern and clean. The vibe was warm and upbeat. The other artists at the shop were curious about each other's clients and work and came in and out of conversations easily. Bryan, the shop owner and a fantastic artist, was easy to work with and personable. Our discussion during the sitting ranged from his life growing up in Echo Park and the cost of living in the city (of course) to plein air painting, color theory, and developing the role of AI in tattooing. Valentino is the absolute best! We brought my 9yr old daughter in to get her ears pierced, and her report was that "it didn't even hurt!" Valentino was so gentle, hygienically prepared and thorough (not to mention good with kids!) Her ears were great for 3 months, and when one got infected we brought her in - he treated it spectacularly, and it healed within 4 days! We were scared we'd have to let it close it up, but his directions and cleansing treatment did the trick. 100% recommend, we love Valentino! read more

I was able to book a session with Michael Padilla and couldn't be happier with the piece I received. I got a manga panel of Guts from Berserk as a tribute piece and it was a great experience. Padilla was able to take my idea and make a great piece of art. He was respectful, talented and a pleasure to work with. The work station and entire facility was very clean. With Covid still being a concern everyone had ample distance and all necessary precautions were taken. All of the staff was extremely nice and helpful. This tattoo shop is a hidden gem! I got my first tattoo here back in 2017 by Jerry, who did an amazing job on my inner forearm piece of the crucification. Fast forward a few years and now I find myself getting the rest of my arm filled in by Bryan , who coincidentally trains at the same golds gym I attend. It was during one of these run ins that I approached him about potentially getting another piece done and he immediately invited me in for a consultation and booked on his soonest availability. I am beyond pleased with my archangel tattoo and I'm loving phase 1 of my lion/lamb shoulder piece . I also have plans of getting a sibling tattoo done by Brian and Jerry or any of the artists here . I trust them all! I can tell they are constantly working on their craft and putting themselves out there with their private artwork, ideas and paintings etc . The more we spoke with Valentino I learned he does color tattoos. When I pitched him my idea for a leg piece he took all of my ideas and ran with it. Mentioned to him how I wanted it to be unique with a challange to stay away from the traditional rose tattoos. Valentino provided me mutliple layouts and color ideas that best fit my leg and skin tone. I tried to keep from posting pictures of my leg until it was completely finished but I can't keep this beautiful piece hidden no longer. This piece is such a conversation starter when I'm out and about. Approached frequently to ask about my leg piece and permission to look closely at the details. I reached out to him through his Instagram, based on the great work that he has shown in his portfolio. The location is a little ways out from where I normally go but the studio is very clean. It's a great vibe. Very cool aesthetic .Brian was very patient and understanding in what exactly I want in a tattoo and how I wanted the placement.
