Got a piercing here a couple years ago and it got extremely infected, but it seems now they upped their service and staff. Came here with my friend the other day because she wanted to get a piercing, and there was barely any wait. Her piercer was very knowledgeable and definitely new well what she was doing. This is hands down the place to go for all tattoos and piercings. We popped in from Arizona today and were blessed with the greatest tattoo/piercing experience. The owner was so attentive and friendly. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. My husband got a tattoo from Chris - genuine, welcoming, talented, took his time but he was also so quick. My piercer Laura was just as genuine and kind. Amazing service and really accommodating! I requested an appointment via yelp and the response rate was both quickly and timely. I work pretty late and they were able to fit me in at a time that coordinated with my time off. We sat down and came up with a design that would fit my sleeve and manny (I believe was his name) printed out multiple sizes to make sure I was completely satisfied with it being integrated in my sleeve. Called early this afternoon to ask about piercing pricing and availability. The gentleman on the phone was very kind and informative, and he quickly made me an appointment for an hour later. I had been wanting to get my nipples pierced for a while but I was nervous to get it done. I finally chose this place because of all the wonderful reviews, and Brendan exceeded all my expectations. I had a custom design I brought in and got done over two sessions. Jeremy and Dave did unbelievably accurate, perfectly executed work. The design I drew was full of parallel black lines -- I've since learned this is a very difficult tattoo to put on -- but they nailed it. Dave not only made sure the piece was perfectly balanced and flawless, but he also took the time to make sure it fit my form and really understood what I was trying to achieve. On top of that, he offered expert advice and thoughtful guidance that took my original concept and made it even better than I imagined. I started 2025 with a goal to get as many of my "dream" tattoos as possible (at least get them started) && most if not all of them have been done here at this shop. Every experience walking into the door has been great. Levi is a magician when it comes to bringing ideas to life & Dave is so kind & patient. He did my lower back piece with such care. It was a little over 5 hours (with a lot of stopping & sucking up the pain) but he was very attentive & cautious when it came to a twitch or jump. Price wise, very reasonable! Availability wise, each one of my tattoos (I've so far been tattooed by generation8 4 times in the last 5 months), they've been able to accommodate me as a walk-in every single time. I was searching for any piercing shop that carried plastic/glass retainers since I had to remove all 5 piercings for an MRI. I swear I must've contacted shops all over SoCal and none other than Generation8 responded to my Yelp inquiry and confirmed they carried these retainers. Yes, Amazon is way cheaper than going to a piercing shop, but my MRI was scheduled for the next morning, so your girl had no choice but to pay the price of poor time management. Chontel and Laura assisted me with changing my piercings out. Both were super friendly and professional. Out of the 5 piercings, 3 (tragus, conch, and helix) needed the retainers (cost me $20 each plus tip). Laura, in training, helped change out to the retainers. Unfortunately, the loops that held the retainers all fell out the next day, but because she's still in training, I totally get it. She still did a great job under Chontel's directions. I was lucky to find metered street parking, but the shop's on a busy street, so plan accordingly. read more

Had a wonderful experience here. TL;DR:would highly recommend for your piercing needs. I came with a group of 4 friends and all of us wanted different piercings. One friend made a reservation for us in advance so there were no issues once we got there. All the staff members were super patient and helpful, especially Brendan (I think?) who did our piercings and made great jewelry recommendations. I got a right rook piercings. Cartilage piercings kind of scare me but it hurt WAY less than I anticipated. Brendan did a wonderful job and was super thorough and conscientious about making sure the jewelry was in correctly so it could heal properly. I got a barbell white white opal so the total for the piercing and jewelry was $112 I think. Definitely worth it. I'll be back! read more

Got my eyebrow pierced by Chontel on 4/25/25. I was extremely nervous when I got there, but Chontel had such a genuine and kind nature that I couldn't help but feel less stressed. She was very knowledgeable and talked to me about the healing process before we got started and then explained to me each step she was taking and why. I came here by referral from a friend and i'm so glad I did. I received two of my most neck turning tattoos from the incredible Cristo. Although there was a little bit of a language barrier between us, he absolutely executed both of my tattoos better than I could have expected. Not only was he patient but he allowed me to take breaks and massaged the area every few hours so my back didn't tense up and to alleviate some of the pain in the area. He paid attention to detail beautifully and these are two of my most notable tattoos. I've gotten three tattoos from Cristo and he gave me my first tattoo ever which isn't pictured.
