I just wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped us because she made such an impression. She walked us through all the options at different price points in a way that felt completely neutral and respectful. There was no subtle steering toward something more expensive. It genuinely felt like whatever we chose was the right choice. Ivy, my piercer, was incredibly thorough and precise. I really want to stress how pleasant and painless this piercing was. I am talking pain level 0 out of 10. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP. She is extremely clean in her process and talked me through every step so I always knew what was happening. My husband and I got matching tattoos here and for the tattoo itself it's 3 stars. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

When I first met her, I was in a really bad place with my health. I was living with some very serious health issues and was just overall struggling so much and truthfully, I felt like a foreigner in my own body. I first got a Wicked tattoo done by her and when I walked into Supersweet, I was so nervous. I had many other tattoos but I was just in a very vulnerable place and at that time, everything made me anxious. When she sat down with her designs, what she had come up with took my breath away. It was so much better than I could have ever imagined and it was the most stunning design I'd ever seen. As we sat down to get started, she could tell that I was nervous and was so gracious, gentle, compassionate and understanding, and really took her time to make sure I felt safe. This meant the world to me. After that, I was scheduled to have a tattoo with her again, and I needed to cancel bc I ended up having emergency back surgery. She was, again, so kind, loving, understanding and supportive. I have since come in and gotten quite a few more tattoos with her and for the first time in so long, my body feels like my own again and I am excited to look down and see my beautiful tattoos done by her. I fully intend to be her client from now until, honestly, however long she'll have me. Her work is stunning and I have so much fun at our sessions. She is someone I deeply appreciate and I truly couldn't be more grateful for Alexa! He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Me and my wife went to get our daughters name, and a piercing. The tattoo came out perfectly. As well as the piercing. However that's not the reason I'm writing this review. My wife had concerns about us going, with us being a mixed race couple. She was concerned with me being black, they would have a problem. That wasn't the case at all. The customer service there was phenomenal. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and happy attitudes. The lady doing the piercing was the fastest I ever witnessed. My wife says she didn't even feel a thing. And Stitch, the guy who did our tattoos was just as amazing. We laughed and swapped stories about movies, art and me pursuing a career in tattooing. He even kept my wife calm during her tattoo and she's notoriously known for freaking out. I had the best experience at a tattoo shop ever. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to get a piercing or tattoo. And don't let the shop name discourage you. Ok so this was a impulsive decision and I'm so glad I did it I spent a total of 102$(the charge a 2$ fee to pay with card) for 4 piercing(jewelry included), first off was greeted at the front and directed to their outside waiting area little dude was very nice and they asked for ID had me sign the paper(the usual) and yeah I only waited about maybe 15 mins before it was my turn it was very fast. Second I was soooo nervous even tho I'm filled with tattoos and other piercings but the girls were soooo nice I felt so comfortable and I don't know the piercers name SADLY but she was good and light handed DIDN'T HURT AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD (2/10) was so FAST and smooth didn't even hear my lobe or cartilage popI will be coming back for sure read more

Came here twice for my piercings because the price was cheaper than Kokopelli's, and now i know why . The piercer didn't even use clamps he just stuck the needle straight in ! I also came here for a small tattoo because i wanted to see Brian's work , he turned an hour tattoo into a 2 1/2 hour tattoo ! He kept getting up and talking to other people right in the middle of my tattoo ! It's unprofessional. On top of that , one of the artists has a snake inside that shop, i would think that's a health issue because snakes shed their skin?? Never going back read more

Just found out yesterday that BROWN PRIDE TATTOO gave my 16 year old niece a tattoo WITHOUT carding her!!!! It's against the law to tattoo a minor!!! This place is horrible and it sucks cause it's brown pride yet they don't have pride in there work that they do, tattoos are shitty and they don't care! As a tattoo artist you guys should learn to apologize and fix the problem instead you bash a girl cause one of your tattoo artist did shitty work! Everyone there is so nice and they do a very good job on keeping all of their customers separate because of Covid. My sister and I both got pierced here and they were all very professional with their work! I got my belly pierced here the first time and then reopened like 2 years later... I came back because first time experience was quick and easy. Their workspace is clean, professional, and inviting. I really would recommend everyone to come get a piercing here. I have no complaints but I can't tell you about the tattoos. Definitely living down the street from this shop I heard only bad things but over time I started researching the shop on my own until I actually went in and Gizmo took care of me! Overall great experience I had to check in for yall. I visited in October and got my rook done. The wait time was close to nothing I filled in paper work and was helped on the spot!! I thought I would give this place a try, I got my rook piercing by some lady whom only spoke Spanish. She didn't mark it, she used 2 clamps on me at one point, looked like she was struggling which hurt I've never got a piercing that slow and I have 17 piercings but obviously not from this place. I went to get pierced last night with 2 other girl friends , this is the 3rd time i been to this shop for piercings. great place! great service! The girl who did my piercing was very nice and the ladies who worked there were all very nice and greeted me and were very patient. There shop is very sanitized and they take good precautions. I got a belly piercing and love the outcome of it. Its a affordable price, i definitely recommend coming to this place! read more

The service was fantastic. The ladies named Rose, Juju, and Stephanie were a big help with being very informational, patient, and informative. They made my mother feel at ease and was very helpful through the whole process when my mother would ask questions and tried to get an understanding of the business. 5/5 will come back! read more

Like ever…read more But- You're going to have a horrible time unless you speak Spanish because if you don't look bilingual, then the receptionist/tattoo artists will casually talk s*** about you in front of your face in Spanish. Got two torso tattoos here. First time I went, some skinny dude in thick glasses tried to overcharge me on the quote, went to another artist on a different day for the same tattoo plus another and got priced over $100 less. The tattoo artist pressed extra hard & only stopped when i looked down at him. The receptionist kept hovering over us, making weird faces and comments. When it was over, I walked to the counter to look at piercings, she tried to make awkward small talk with me to the point where the tattoo artist actually had to come over, audibly whisper & tell her "he knows you're f***ing with him" to get her to stop being weird and sarcastic. One of the socially most uncomfortable experiences I've ever been through while getting a tattoo. I wouldn't even send my enemies here.
