These people killed a little Yorkie in their care for a simple groomers visit. Clip and nail trim and they stuck this little dog in a kennel with a dryer blowing on her and forgot about her and when they checked on her, she was dead! She baked to death. She died of heat stroke. Little Remi was a beautiful and loved Yorkshire Terrier. She trusted her owner to keep her safe. Her owner trusted these people to keep her safe. And she died an agonizing death. Her owner prays she went to sleep and didn't suffer. I pray her owner gets justice Little Remi. As of this post, the tech responsible is "suspended" and not even terminated. I called and asked how to care for the wounds because he was bleeding and the lady at the desk got smart with me for asking. Once known as Pet Health Clinic. It was a small clinic off of Hwy 64 ( across from the Exercise Ctr) 30 years ago. Dr. Uptov was our vet . Sheridan was our Golden in every way. He took care of her for almost 13 years. And Dr.Uptov was there when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. For a hot minute, I then tried Petsmart and Banfield. Never again. I returned to PHC at their new location 5 minutes from home. I had 3 rescues. Coco, Dooney and Leo, another Golden. Since then, Dr. Uptov has crossed his Rainbow. My Leo has sadly followed him and now my Mellow Mutt, Dooney . Now known as Brown Dog Lodge, Dr. Jason and Fox have continued the care and love my 2 fur babies need. My Coco is 12 and my Golden is 4. Still my rescues. But I must say, the staff, Char, Savannah and now the groomer are still showing the love and my fur babies are happy. You can go to any Petsmart but I'm staying with Brown Dog. Called for appt to get my poodle groomed. I had to wait two weeks to get in. We talked about all the requirements and shots my dog needed ahead of time. I was told we needed one other shot before he could come in. So we go to his vet we always go to and get what we needed and I thought ok we are all set! Get to the morning of the groom. I filled out all paperwork and my poodle and I visited with the groomer. We took him back and put him in his cage. Everything was great. Im getting ready to leave. A new lady is just coming in and starts asking a bunch of questions. She tells me my dog is missing a shot and would need it before he could get groomed on this day! Keep in mind I have already taken him to his vets office for everything he should need for a grooming appt. Attached is a copy of the bill and shot he would need in advance before getting groomed on this day! I couldn't believe it! So we left!! These people don't care anything about your pet it's obvious all about the money!! read more

Pet Health Center groomed our two dogs recently, and did a super job. We will be using them again for their services. Kennels are very clean and roomy; big enough to keep our two dogs in the same kennel when they are there, waiting to be groomed or picked up. One of my dogs has been seen by their Doctor, due to my dog's need for surgery. He and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Didn't feel rushed. Exam rooms very clean. Took my new puppy here, and did a puppy start up. He was scheduled to get dewormed, and his first of puppy shots. I also wanted them to check and see if he had a UTI, because he was peeing about 10 to 15 times an hour! I thought that was a lot. So I get there about 10 minutes before my appointment. There was one person in front of me and I had to wait about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Kind of annoying. Then we get into the exam room and the nurse took The dog and weighed him and then brought him back. We then waited on the vet for about another 10 to 15 minutes. She finally comes in and gave him his dewormer and shots. So I asked her to check his ears his eyes and asked about his peeing problem. She suggested to do a urinalysis, so I said ok. So she and the nurse took the dog to the back to pee, and brought him back. That's it. She didn't tell me how much it was going to cost, how long it was going to take (it took 45 minutes and it was $50!) and then the veterinarian herself and never came back in to tell me the results! She just sent the nurse and then every question I would ask the nurse she would go in the back and asked the vet! They were just running around in circles not really knowing what they were talking about! Just because of this one veterinarians actions at my visit I will not return with any of my other pets. read more
