Truth be known I hate dentists, I am British and sport the obligatory and much joked about gape. I was referred here for a wobbly tooth which led quickly to laser surgery and I have to say I am so thankful to have taken the plunge. Dr. Browning was sage and understanding, the surgery was split into two parts and went without a hiccup over the last 6months. This guy may be a great dentist, but I could not even make an appointment without giving his office my social security number. I have insurance; I was referred by another dentist who also has my insurance info, but his office won't take an insurance ID, passport, birth certificate, or drivers license as enough evidence that I have insurance and I am who I say I am. There are so many problems with this place that I don't know where to start. 1) The staff are often unprofessional and helpless. The receptionists never answered the phone during their office hours however many times I called and left messages. This cost me multiple unnecessary trips to their offices. Very frustrating and time consuming!!! 2) Inaccurate bills and accounting issues. I was given an estimate before the surgery, but ended up paying several hundred $ more out of pocket. This shouldn't have happened since my insurance hadn't changed and I hadn't done other surgery elsewhere. They told me they made a mistake with the bill but they were never able to correct it and kept sending me the same bill every week with no update or explanation. At the end, I unwillingly paid the money so that I don't have to deal with them ever again. 3) The most painful dental surgery ever!!!!! This hurt 100 times more than my wisdom teeth removal surgeries! The anesthetic wore off in the middle of my grafting surgery and my torture started. Dr Browning continued the operation anyways for another 20 minutes with my tears running down my face , and he didn't seem sorry at all. 4) Speaking of being an uncompassionate dentist, Browning's attitude (at least to me) was annoying. I don't understand the other nice words said about him, but I felt awful when he scolded me harshly for me not knowing how to brush my gum properly. Finally to be fair, the effects of the surgery were good. But based on everything that went wrong, I do not recommend this place. I am even thinking about changing my general dentist who referred me to Dr Browning. read more

I have had gum surgery performed with Dr. Browning twice. I'm somewhat sorry to leave a 2-star review, because Dr. Browning is fantastic. His bedside manner is impeccable, and he is consummately skilled. However, the office staff are incompetent and unprofessional. The 250 word limit prevents much detail, but they failed to timely bill my insurance company; repeatedly failed to get back to me when they said they would; sent a rude, threatening letter because of a small outstanding bill which we had ALREADY DISCUSSED as to when it would be paid; and they generally acted as though they couldn't care less about me once they had their money. Worst of all, their incompetence cost me a huge sum of money in lost insurance benefits because they did not file a claim on time. If you go to Dr. Browning, you will love him. However, beware of the staff. Make sure they do a preauthorization of treatment, so they only charge you for the amount not covered by insurance. (In my case, I paid the bill upfront, and they assured me they would bill my insurance company and send me a check for whatever was reimbursed. Huge mistake, since they failed to follow through.) Even though I had a problem with them the first time I had surgery, I decided to go back because Dr. Browning was so good. The second time was much worse. Never again. read more

I was so impressed with Dr. Browning as he was referred to me by my primary dentist. I had gum surgery to get ready for my new veneers and I was so scared about the procedure. They made me feel very comfortable and after the surgery I felt absolutely no pain at all. He is a perfectionist which is very important to me when it comes to my smile. My gums look amazing and have healed perfectly and his follow up with check-ups is amazing. He is the ninja of gum surgery and truly cares about his patients and answers all your questions/concerns. I have had over five tissue grafts done by Dr. Browning and the outcome has been great! I can't even tell I have had any work done. The staff was very helpful before and during the procedure to ease any concerns. Dr. Browning spent time on the phone with me answering all my questions and also gave me a follow up call after the procedure to make sure all was well. I would not go to anyone else for my periodontal needs and I highly recommend him. read more
