Claimed he had been searching for me- and was furious. The lady behind me said- eeks, guess I better sit down. Then when he called me in to give me the shot he continued to chastise and berate me in the closed room. Said he will not give me my shot if he has to look for me again and would not stop he assault of me and continued ranting at me even when I said -you have made your point please quit talking to me like this. He gave me the shot with no warning and then flung open the door to dismiss me without giving me time to put my sweater back on. It was horrifying. If they had not already processed the $200 payment thru my insurance, I would have walked out and never looked back. I was not wandering the aisles, I literally went to pick a single product off the shelf and was within war shot of the pharmacy area and he was with another client when I stepped over to get the product. The rage he had and the continued ranting -you would think I had been Christmas's shopping all over and not immediately available or that I had been holding up other appointments- but they were still checking in the person behind me and had not finished when I came back. No one was waiting for me, just the monster of a pharmacist. Bet he would never have treated another man that way and definitely would not have gotten away with that shit in front of my husband. Initially I had a pretty poor experience with one of the staff here back at the pharmacy desk. I…read morehad a reservation for a COVID-19 test in order to travel to Hawaii. While I did receive the initial email from Walgreen's showing the reservation, I never received the follow-up email with the code that permits you to actually get the test. I explained this to the young lady at the desk, and she scolded me for being in the store if coming in for a COVID test. I explained I was symptom free and had to take this test only for travel reasons. She was not helpful at all and simply said, "no code, no test". She stuck by this even after I showed her my reservation email from Walgreens. Being that we live over two hours away I was not pleased, to say the least. I asked to speak with the manager and James came out to discuss this with me. He was super helpful in resolving this and after checking in the computer, was able to verify I was indeed scheduled for the test, and personally ensured the test went smoothly. He also ensured my wife (also scheduled to test) did not have any issues. So poor start, but good conclusion.

When I reached the Walgreens, I met with a cashier who advised they didn't carry FedEx envelopes or any FedEx supplies of any kind - they can only accept packages completely ready to ship. She sent me across the street to a mailboxes location who had everything I needed and took my document, packaged it in a FedEx envelope, affixed the shipping label and guaranteed to get it out today - they did. Walgreens IS NOT a FedEx shipping spot!

This Walgreens location was well stocked & they were 50% off MSRP so they were a great deal! . And the cashier gave me another 10% discount discount because I was over 55. Every month, I worry that some of my most important meds will be out of stock, but their pharmacists know I am going to get them, and they make sure they are on hand. When I transferred all our business over from the Bartells at Redondo, I was afraid that I was losing the best people around. But I was really impressed with how smoothly and efficiently all prescriptions , transferred.
