I loved the ambiance. The candles and dim lighting made it feel so cozy. Food portions were quite good. Server was friendly.

For being a "social house" I didn't find it very social. I sat at the bar with my drink. No one talked to me. The bar tenders didn't strike up a conversation and neither did people sitting on either side of me. Meh. I ordered a "social soda" and I didn't like it. I ordered multiple drinks, they all came in short glasses stuffed with ice. Not a good value for the price. The interior is urban and quite trendy. Seems clean. However there are televisions every where. Too many in my opinion, and they are all playing sports. It seems like it's always busy. There were people waiting around at the door for a table. The washroom is incredibly narrow.

We work across the street from this place at the Body Bar Laser Clinic and are eating here every day. We call in our order and within 10-15 minutes they have our food ready. My favorites are: 1) Thai Chicken Soup 2) Dry Ribs 3) Purple Cabbage with Goat Cheese Side 4) Cowgirl & Cowboy Salads with blackend chicken 5) Potatoe encrusted Halibut Service is good. Will continue to return. Tried the brunch last Saturday and had the Corned Beef Hash: Was excellent.

This is a great place to hang out with friends in the TriCities community. It's hip, ambiance is trendy, service is prompt and menu has a good selection but needs a bit of change every now and then to keep it interesting. If you need a snack, they have a good selection of appetizers and a good drink selection. The usual dishes I have are: thai chicken soup, nachos, salt & pepper dry ribs, classic hot wings and quesadillas. The appetizers are a little on the expensive side for the portion size ranging in price from $8 - 14 per plate. Typically for two people, it ends up costing us around $60 if you include alcoholic beverages.

An interior designer's nightmare. What is going on here? Is the DJ on Adderal? Yet, the happy hour specials are good, as are the menu items. It's a big mashup and I was drawn to it as a 6 year old is drawn to McDonalds! The service was friendly, if a bit slow. But some days all I want is some avocado toast ( and no, I'm a tail-end boomer, no millennial) and Brown's, wherever the location, tends to consistently deliver. ( another fave is the gluten-free salt and pepper ribs) I quite enjoyed camping out, using the wifi for a couple of hours and nibbling while I got some work done. I'd bring a friend without hesitation, too bad I had so much to do.

Apparently it becomes a dance floor where we were seated and that was the calm before the storm. Husband's burger was burnt, so we appreciated that our server took it away and comped us a new one. Kids seemed to enjoy their food. Place is noisy with sports games on the TVs. Parking is a little challenging in the underground lot but I liked that it was free. If coming to this building, I prefer the Wild Fig for brunch. Great service. Average food. Unmemorable atmosphere.

Four of them were perfectly cool, but this one guy was being incredibly rude and told me to get out. All I said in response was, "Calm down," with a smile on my face. I then asked his friends what the issue was, and they explained that they had paid for the table. I apologized and prepared to head out, but before I could leave, the guy became extremely rude again. I repeated, "Calm down," and that is when he pulled a knife on me. When he saw that I wasn't threatened by the knife, he went and reported me to security. Then, the security guards had the absolute audacity to tell me that I had to leave because I was the one with a knife, claiming it was caught on camera. I told them straight up: search me right now and show me the video. They refused to do either. Sure, okay. Scrapping my personal experience entirely, if I were to ever go here again, I now know for a fact that there are groups of intoxicated people carrying knives or weapons inside this venue, even after security claims they search people at the door. Ridiculous.

There's free parking outside, just register your license plate when you enter the building. I went with 2 other friends on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but we got lucky and only had wait a few minutes for a table. It was decently loud inside but it was still easy to have a conversation. The waitress we got was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. I'm also super envious of her memory because there's no way I can remember who had which drink without writing it down for so many tables throughout the night!!! My friend also asked for a drink recommendation for the last round and she gave a great one. There's a lot of selection for drinks, as well as food. I really like their shared plates of finger food like tater tots and onion rings. My fish and chips were also very good. The table beside us ordered nachos and it looked huge and very delicious.

Aside from the time warp location, the food is easily 4*s, and honestly, I'd say it's better than White Spot as a comparable. The clubhouse sandwich contained actual turkey breast, not the deli turkey breast slices a lot of places use. That's an easy win right there. Very reasonable pricing to boot! It's basically a sports bar/pub grub menu set up. Pool tables as well. Lighting is on the darker side, with friendly and courteous service. They chat with you since they're curious as to how you know about the place. It's definitely not on too many peoples' radar for sure. They seem to like their hockey, as there are a couple of jerseys hanging. Guy Lafleur, Paul Henderson's autographed jersey from the Summit Series 1972, and a couple of others. Located in the basement of the Lougheed Village Mall, which is literally the Land that Time Forgot. I'm not exaggerating. Come and have a look for yourself. Free validated parking if you eat here. Recommend that you go for a stroll in the upper and lower levels and the courtyard whilst you're here. Maybe come in the evening during Halloween. You won't need to spook yourself out at a graveyard. This mall will suffice you plenty.

Wings are $2 more ($12.99) - I should have taken a pic or two of the menu to get all of the differences. Obviously, you're supplementing cost with your DD fees when you order delivery. The fellow behind the bar was super-friendly. He was working solo (dropped in there about 1:30pm on a Wed - not exactly "happy hour") :). I ordered two pints of their near-hazy pale ale, wings and potato skins and it came to $45. Not horrible, but the wings were the smallest size that Sysco sells (think pigeon) and the potato skins were tiny as well. Shrunken that the fillings didn't fill the skin. Repeat? Nope. Though, hate to say that as I found the bartender quite personable. There were a few regulars at the bar when I dropped in. Hoping this place sees a lot more activity on regular pub nights. Suggestions: get the medium-sized chicken wings (not the ginormous "turkey-sized wings"!) and make certain that the potato skins at least get alll of the potato back into them before you add the topings. :)
