Is there a 0 rating? There should be. Ordered off Uber. 1/2 my order didn't arrive, and the rest was burnt. Absolutely disgusting. If you dont want to do delivery orders- understandable, especially on a weekend. But then don't offer the option!! Pathetic!

Today visiting Port Moody we had the most wonderful experience at St Jame's Well Old Irish Pub. Janet offered to us a very courteous professional service. The culinary is outstanding , portions are generous and very affordable . We had pints of Phillips beer , very delicious and for lunch salt and pepper chicken wings , grill chicken wrap and I have to say the most delicious LIVER AND ONIONS , second to none in Greater Vancouver, strongly recommend it!!!. It is a very cozy Irish pub to be visited again and the ambiance is so cool!!

We were in the area and decided to try this pub. We entered to find the place fairly busy, which is a good sign, even on a Saturday night. Upon entering, we found a welcoming ambiance and some loud cheering. Scanned the QR code for the menu and found the prices were different (slightly more) then the website we had glanced at in the parking lot, yeah... we do that. No matter we said, as we ordered a poutine and some Yorkshire pudding to start. The food was excellent. Well prepared and very flavourful. We ordered bread pudding for desert as well and were not disappointed. The service was good, the decor was appropriate but the many TVs were very loud. The price as expected was in the higher end but the quality of the food was worth it. All and all, I would gladly return to this establishment.

We've ordered their Sunday Roast dinner twice now since the COVID-19 situation began. The second time is just as delicious as the first. Both times we've ordered two meals and a bottle of red wine. Each meal comes with a side Caesar salad, two large slabs of roast beef, some delicious horseradish and gravy, two Yorkshire puddings, mashed potatoes, and some mixed vegetables (carrot, broccoli, mushroom, acorn squash, red & green peppers). It's a lot of food, and tastes absolutely fantastic. Hoping to order more from them soon, and looking forward to visiting again in person when things are a bit more normal.

What I like: the food, the service, the pub feel, all very good! What I don't like: it's really loud, the music is loud and if it's busy you have to almost scream to communicate The Dublin dip, which is a French dip sandwich is incredible! Caramelized opinions are really nice on it! Friends are thin and crispy, I really liked them The Mac and cheese with side salad is hearty and filling, total comfort food! really enjoyed the salad dressing! The yorkies are delicious, little bites of flavour, lots of meat on each one! Love the horseradish and the gravy is very tasty!

Potato skins. Not sure what the black stuff is? Should be bacon but think it's ground beef.

Not great service today. Their menu is over priced. The servers are not well trained. The food was not that great. I've been here before and it was fine.

Nachos are as good as advertised, this is a great Irish Pub when you're in the mood for some comfort food, good beer list too.

The fish and chips are really good, and the tarter sauce that comes with it is out of this world delicious.

I felt like pub food for lunch so wanted to try something local (we're by Lafarge Lake). Looking…read moreonline, I found their DoorDash menu. Well, the prices in the pub are more expensive. Wings are $2 more ($12.99) - I should have taken a pic or two of the menu to get all of the differences. Obviously, you're supplementing cost with your DD fees when you order delivery. The fellow behind the bar was super-friendly. He was working solo (dropped in there about 1:30pm on a Wed - not exactly "happy hour") :). I ordered two pints of their near-hazy pale ale, wings and potato skins and it came to $45. Not horrible, but the wings were the smallest size that Sysco sells (think pigeon) and the potato skins were tiny as well. Shrunken that the fillings didn't fill the skin. Repeat? Nope. Though, hate to say that as I found the bartender quite personable. There were a few regulars at the bar when I dropped in. Hoping this place sees a lot more activity on regular pub nights. Suggestions: get the medium-sized chicken wings (not the ginormous "turkey-sized wings"!) and make certain that the potato skins at least get alll of the potato back into them before you add the topings. :)

This place literally came to our rescue…read more We wanted to go for a little road trip. So, we decided to head from West Vancouver all the way to Port Moody for lunch. The original Brewery we wanted to go to was in an area that had been hi-jacked and overtaken by local folks, strollers, bikes and what seemed an endless amount of people on foot. .......The Parade. Roads closed, traffic lights confused, and the so ever awesome bumper to bumper standstill of angry vehicles. On this particularly hot day. Keep in mind we had already been in traffic coming from the North Shore. It was now 2pm. We circled about 5 times and not a single parking space in sight, there might have been one available in Chilliwack.....moving on.... So, we decided....let's go someplace familiar, reliable, quality that will most likely deliver. That's exactly what we got. Little place called New Port Village. Free parking right in front of Browns. Beautiful comfy inside and cozy sunny patio with great service. The only thing I wanted was a cold beer and Dry Ribs I had been craving all day. 2 Stellas on tap. Dry Ribs and The Traditional Burger.....and they all rocked. I love Brown's Dry Ribs. I'm used to the ones from Cactus but Brown's is slightly meatier and juicier. The Burger was perfectly cooked. Super Fresh. Stellar put together. Cozy little booth away from the heat, cold beer, juicy burger and a feisty irresistible Dry Ribs. ....and all of this served to us graciously by our awesome server Grace. Yup. That pretty much sums it up.

Love it. Service and food are the best. Keep coming back…read more Would like music bingo on Wednesdays at 5 pm .
