I had Blum management accept the AC repair that was dispatched by Choice Warranty. They found a technician that can come after 4 days, in the middle of a heat wave. When he came in he was checking for the electricity coming to the condenser and the thermosta, he went to the electric panel to check and he diagnosed that there is no power going to the AC unit. "His diagnosis was maybe the wire is fried" and I should get electrician to rewire. Two hours later my electrician stopped by, switched the circuit breaker and there was power. Dimitri was the name of the technician that totally misdiagnosed the issue, made my claim drag, I paid him for job not done. I called the company to ask for refund for incomplete job, while I was melting in the gray waiting for them to call bac. they would refer me to my warranty company . Terrible service. Blum Repair Group contacted me after my warranty company service plus reached out to them. I spoke with a Chandini who said that their dispatcher would contact me. Abraham, the dispatcher reached out to me who then insisted that I did not know my authorization cap, but I have several emails from service plus showing it. Please see attached photos. According to blum their authorization cap is $100, what service is anyone getting for $100 these days, let alone an appliance repair? I explained to abraham that my technician was at the house in July and told me that I need an A240 blower belt. I also explained that my technician does not want to deal with a warranty company. It's a blower belt. I know what I need, and the blower belt can be bought at Amazon.com, or any supplier that they choose. If I know what I need, their HVAC technican can buy it, and make the repair. If, by chance I'm incorrect, which I don't believe I am, their technican can return the blower belt to their supplier. Abraham insisted on a 5 hour window for an appointment, no company gives a 5 hour window. Abraham was rude. He was argumentative and he yelled at the consumer. Was assigned Blum Management Inc. through Choice warrantee to diagnose and repair a central AC issue. My AC was not blowing cold. I was extremely worried about what I was in for based on reviews. The technician.. who's name I forgot (apart that he was Russian) opened the compressor and eventually replaced a capacitor part. At that point, the AC unit began working and blowing cold. The technician was nice and didn't fly through the door hounding me for the service fee. He actually forgot to collect it until I offered it at the end. Not sure if I was lucky based on the other reviews, but I am thankful that my problem was resolved with one visit. read more

It's been two months for an AC repair and they are still claiming they are "waiting " for a part. My suggestion is that if your insurance company is in bed with them cancel you insurance and get another one which holds scum lords like this accountable. read more

Since last Tues 7/16/24 no air conditioning & said would come today 7/22/24 7a-11a. They never showed up. Technician came and assessed the AC unit. Verbally claimed that it needed just Freon. Sent a report to Choice Home Warranty claiming a lack of mantanence and got the claim denied. My heat wasnt working so I called choice home warranty and scheduled for a plumber to come out. The plumber that they sent out said he needed parts and he can come back once he has them. That's understandable. It's been 10 days since the plumber has come. I received one part and called to let them know. They said they are waiting on the 2nd part. Fair enough after a week i began calling them daily for any type of update. Horrible company . NOT reliable. They didn't show up to the scheduled appointment time and keeps rescheduling and canceling on their own. Please do not use them and tell your warranty company to reassign another reliable company . zero stars they are absolutely horrible. do not trust them! they said that our freon mixture was bad but had no way to test it to know that therefore choice warranty denied our claim. choice warranty should be ashamed of themselves for using this company. when i called blum to ask for our report, they said they were not allowed to send it to me. i spoke to a condisending man named luis who claimed to be a manager. awful awful awful and should be shut down!!!!! read more

Horrific!! Warranty owners beware!! Choice home warranty set up an appointment with them. They came out, assessed my air conditioner and told my wife that there could possibly be an issue with a control module and we would hear from the warranty company. Upon getting the report from the warranty company, they said there was nothing wrong with the unit. I called Blum directly, who told me they found nothing wrong with it and when I said it is blowing hot air, they said they would speak to the technician. I never heard back until I called them. They repeated that the technician said that there was nothing wrong. After a number of attempts to speak with CHW and Blum to discuss them coming back to check on things, they kept saying they would call me once the new appointment got set. Two weeks later and seven phone call conversations later, they finally set up a repair date to come out. Guess what, they did not show! I'm not sure why choice home warranty continues to deal with them, but they are horrific ! I'm questioning whether choice home warranty is the warranty company for me now too. read more

Terrible company. We ended up not using Blum and had Choice Home Warranty reassign our claim to a different service provider. We were scheduled with Blum for over a week and during that time they could not confirm our appointment, even after postponing our appointment during that period. I called Blum multiple times daily throughout that week stretch to obtain confirmation of my appointment and the rep never could. She just kept affirming that I would receive a phone call later that day from their scheduling team, but I never did. After a week of no success, I decided to look into this company and came across their horrible reviews. At that point, I was convinced to have Choice Home Warranty reassign my claim. It sucks we lost a week with a nonfunctioning AC during hot weather waiting for Blum, but I am certain it was the right decision to have our claim reassigned instead of waiting longer for Blum for an appointment that would never be fulfilled let alone confirmed. Considering Blum's horrible reviews, I bet their service would be equally disappointing with no easy remedy of their workmanship to be had. read more
