Marissa is amazing at what she does! I had never allowed anyone to touch my brows because I was always afraid I would fall victim to a bad brow job so when Marissa suggested that she could make my brows look more symmetrical (mine were so uneven!) I needed a visit to get my brows tamed but I had been hesitant due to my lack of brow so I have been looking on yelp for the answer after a couple of duds I finally found Mari. She is so nice when I met her she made me feel like we were friends who were meeting again for the first time in a while. She talked to me and made me fee comfortable at her place of business. I was impressed as soon as I met her and she hadn't even touched my brows yet. Just goes to show first impression makes a big impact. Anyways, she talked to me about my concerns what I wanted in my brows and I was to be honest unsure no one has ever asked me these questions about my brows?! She saw my concerns without me having to being them up assured me that I was going to love my brows. I trusted her with my brows, and if anyone who has had trouble with their brows in the past knows how hard that is but she did it! So she goes over my and maps my brows as she called it and then she goes in with the wax. This is one of the first time I have ever had my brows waxed the norm for me was threading so it was painful but the result was perfection. I had never seen my brows so clean! She explained to me that there would be little hairs because I had a gap in my brow but she said come back in three weeks and you will see it will grow out and then we can fix it. She went in and pulled some tiny hair that the wax didn't get and the end result was amazing I could see what she meant but the hair will grow in and cover the gap. I went to visit Marissa for the first time about 2 weeks ago. After seeing my friends amazing eyebrows I knew I had to go to her. I have gone to one not so good eyebrow person after another. I have one eyebrow I call the "evil step sister"... Just can't seem to get it right. Well, Marissa did not disappoint. First off, her place is super cute and extremely welcoming. Then with you add her to the mix you want to stay and hang out. She is so sweet.... Seriously made me feel like I've known her for years. If all that wasn't enough... She made my brows look amazing. She explained to be that it will take a couple times to get what we want especially since it takes my eyebrows forever to grow back, but I was so pleased and excited about the way the first visit turned out. I can't imagine how my brows could get any better and I haven't felt this way about them in a long time. You can tell that Marissa is talented and is extremely skilled at what she does.
