It's a nice place inside of Great Wolf Lodge. A very simple menu. I kind of like the kids options more than the adult options. That's just my opinion. I had a cheeseburger. Asked for it to be well done. But nope. It was pink. More pink than I cared for. But ate half of it. I'm still alive. My husband got wings with sweet chili sauce. Grandson got Mac and cheese with French fries. Granddaughter got chicken tenders with fries. Very very pricey. But you pay for the place. Definitely not for the food. Our overall experience at Fireside was nice. And I do recommend because it's on property.

When we arrived at our reserved time, we stood at the front while the hosts whispered to each other, waved their hands around, and even covered their faces with a menu while talking--yet never greeted us. Why have hosts who can't even acknowledge arriving guests? Our server, seemed unenthusiastic. You would think that with how expensive it is to eat there, the food would at least be good--but it wasn't. We ordered the crispy smoked pork belly, which was pretty good, but everything after that went downhill. I got the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, and my boyfriend got the chili lime chicken bowl. Both were disappointing. I had barely any chicken, and the flavor reminded me of frozen buffalo chicken you'd heat up for Sunday night football. The mac and cheese was bland and tasted mostly like noodles and butter with a bit of ricotta, buffalo sauce, and a few small pieces of chicken. Also the onions on top tasted disgusting, the breading came off the second i ate it, and i ended up with soft pieces of onion in my mac and cheese. My boyfriend's bowl also had barely any chicken and was mostly just rice--you pay $23 for essentially a bowl of rice. I'm extremely unhappy with my experience at Fireside.. Everyone is eating in the same huge room that echos and all you hear is kids screaming. At the end of our dinner, when our server dropped off the checks, we realized why she might have seemed unenthusiastic and provided only mediocre service: an automatic 18% gratuity was already added. I feel like i just wasted an hour of my time along with 80 dollars

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

Our server Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us. We started off with a couple cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had the Not Bogged Down. For dinner I had the Chorizo Encrusted Red Snapper and my wife had one of the specials which was the Tripletail. She said it was the best seafood dish she has ever had. For dessert, we split the special Crème Brûlée topped with diced fruit. We enjoyed the dessert so much, we purchased one for a sweet family of four sitting next to us. Our server Mike and the owner, Barry, helped make that happen and we appreciate it.

It was a little cool at first, but once the sun came up it warmed right up and was super comfortable. The waitresses were so nice and really on top of everything. There were seven of us, and we ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch. Everything came out fast, fresh, and hot. Breakfast was a hit--especially the pancakes. They had this perfect little crunch on the outside, and of course we had to order some "for the table" because that's just what we do. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and all the bacon and sausage were delicious. The lunch crew was just as happy. The bleu cheeseburger looked amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken fried steak again because he loved it last time, and he said it was just as good--tender, flavorful, and that gravy was spot-on. Overall, Alda's Diner is such a great find. Good, simple, home-cooked food done right. We'll definitely be back, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should!

I ordered the Paul Vanderbilt, which included toast, two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two sausage links, and a slice of ham with hash browns. I did finish most of it. As any person on Yelp, I did some plate surfing on my way out. I spotted a good reason to come back. I saw a hamburger that seemed to be calling me back.

From the minute you walk in the door, you're greeted with the best hospitality from the owner! Even on a Monday, the restaurant was popping with regulars. They are great about getting customers in and out quickly (without you ever feeling rushed). We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated and were promptly greeted and our order was taken shortly after! It took maybe 10 minutes for our food to come out and it was all hot! I'm not usually a fan of coffee at breakfast spots and diners, but I gave it a try and it was probably the best drip coffee I've had! Our server had asked if I planned to share the full order of biscuits and gravy and I'm so glad she asked because the 1/2 order was HUGE! We got all kinds of things: the western skillet, the western omelette, the darling breakfast (kids breakfast), 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, hash browns, bacon, eggs, toast, a biscuit, pancakes etc. everything was incredibly delicious and will keep us full all day!! We witnessed how much the owner & staff care about their customers and could tell the majority of the restaurant were regulars! Thank you for such a great experience. I kept fighting back tears thinking of my nana and how much she would have loved this spot. The artwork and decorations are so cute and so funny! We will be back!

I don't like being rushed, so we asked to have some time to peruse the menu. The menu has lots of appetizers, a few salads, entrees, sandwiches and specialties as well as desserts, I settled on the baked penne. Food arrived timely and looked great. For me, the baked penne was too cheesy with not enough sauce. I was disappointed since every description of their sauce made it sound so good, so I feel like I missed out. I would return and try something else.
