Had a great experience at BRU, was seated immediately order taken within 10 minutes. Food arrived 10-15 minutes after order and came out very presentable and tasty. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE EATING. I went here yesterday with my roommates and ordered the Honey Chipotle burger. The service was decent and the food came out within 20 minutes. Everything seemed to look normal but the lighting was very dim, so it was hard to see. My burger was incredible chewy and had so much juice on the plate that I became suspicious. I turned on my flashlight and looked at my burger to see what was almost a fully uncooked patty. I had a solid 5 big bites before realizing. I told my waiter about it and he was very nice and replaced the meal and didn't charge me. Really enjoyed this place. Definitely the best burger I've had and one of the best salads. I had the Bru (lamb) burger with a side Cobb salad. I would love to recreate the salad at home seeing how there's not one in atlanta. The salad portion is huge for it to be a side salad. The Bru Board was phenomenal! Best thing on the menu!! My friends burger and Onion Rings were delicious from what I tasted and my Truffle White Cheddar burger was definitely amazing. Horrible service. We waited 15 minutes for a beer that sat on the bar for the whole time. Our server didn't give us our food or drinks checked on us one twice once to seat us and once ti collect tip in our 1 hour experience. The food was okay but not great the Mushroom and Swiss burger was overloaded with black pepper mayo and it was overwhelming. The Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders appetizer is bad. Love it! I went during burger week, and they were busy, but we had made a reservation, so we got seated pretty quickly. The food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait! Great job seating our party of 15 almost right away. We were there for a late lunch on a temporarily rainy Saturday afternoon. The Beginning and the End burgers were delicious. The egg in the End burger was super delicious and perfectly cooked. The small burger also had rave reviews by my mom who is not a burger fan. I loved the fries! I love a good amount of seasoning so for me they were perfect. If you're looking to watch your sodium, ask for easy seasoning. The garlic aioli and ranch were some of the tastiest I've had in a while. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was okay, it had a lot of breading. Per my nephew, the patty melt was dry thus the 4 stars. Nice location in the heart of downtown and walkable distance to the sports venues. Service was very good. The server stopped by the right amount of times, came by with refills at the perfect moment without us asking. Very nice. The food was very good bar food. It was remade as a request for a slight change did not work. After my friend arrived, she ordered a drink as well. Ten minutes before they arrived. We ordered onion rings and they were fabulous. My friend ordered the black bean burger & it arrived cold. We sent it back. After another 25 minutes a new one came out warm. I ordered the Gorgenberry Salad & it was delicious! I ordered extra dressing which never arrived. The food here was great but the service terrible! Checks arrived with double billing each. We felt like we were a bother to the waitress. I dine at the same restaurant in Kentucky where the service matches the food - great! I will continue to go to that one but will skip the one in downtown Cincinnati! read more

Probably my fave salad ever is BRU's Sriracha Caesar teaser (lunch size). It's $6, filling, and gives you a nice capsaicin dose. ...who am I kidding though? I always end up adding a bacon burger because BRU knows how to cook a patty to perfection. They have decent gluten free hamburger buns too (and a dedicated GF menu, including vegan / meat-free burgers); they definitely put in the effort when it comes to being aware about dietary issues.
