Everything was spot on--fantastic food, attentive service, and an atmosphere that was perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with family. As someone who eats gluten-free, I was thrilled with the wide variety of options. Loved the Winterberry Martini! Highly recommend!

Hands down the best onion rings ever! So crisp! The pimento cheese jalapeño snack burger was delish and the perfect amount. Sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Our server, Calvin, was friendly and attentive.

We've been here twice so it's about time I write a review especially since the food was good! The first visit was during Burger Week. This was our first Burger Week and our first visit to BRU Burger Bar. The inside of the restaurant had a cool vibe and the seating was comfortable. Our server was very pleasant and made us feel at home. We knew we were going to order more than the Burger Week burger and I'm glad we did. We started with the Triple Dip - Goat Cheese, Peppadew Pepper Jam, Hummus, Guacamole, Onion Straws, Grilled Naan Bread. This appetizer was fantastic. It was SO fresh and delicious. I highly recommend! The burgers were juicy and quite yummy. The fries were great and the ketchup, which had to be house made, was delicious. We went a second time after I had a procedure nearby. Different visit, different food. This time we ate outside. It was comfortable, but the vibe was decidedly less cool. Mark ordered the chili cheese fries and a a burger on bread, so it must have been the Patty Melt on sourdough. I had a burger and onion rings. I had very recently been sedated, so my apologies, but I can't remember the name of burger, but it had bacon and white, melty cheese. The burger filled the bun and the cheese was oozy and yummy. The onion rings were lightly battered and quite good in that house made ketchup. We would totally come back. In fact, we at at Blu Burger Bar downtown before a show. The food always hits the spot.

The venue is nice, with plenty of TVs in the bar area to watch games. Our service was great and the food was even better! We started out with the chicken tender appetizer, which was delicious (be careful though because it is a lot of food for 2 people). Both of the burgers we got were delicious as well! We will be back!

Food was amazing and the service was great! Located in a nice area. Great atmosphere. The outside area is nice to eat and relax. I would recommend going here.

First time visiting this place for lunch. We were craving burgers, and since Bones was closed down the street, we decided to try this place. So glad we did! The restaurant does have the ability to get reservations through Open Table, which is helpful because they are really busy. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating available. Our waitress, MiKayla and other servers had exceptional customer service. Our waitress in particular was phenomenal. The food was outstanding. My husband tried a burger, and I got a blackened salmon salad. There are plenty of unique options even more than their specialty burgers on their menu. We will definitely be back!

Meh... Mediocre food, ok service and cocktails. The food here is overpriced for the quality - which is lacking. The cocktails were ok. Not great but ok. My daughter had a seasonal cocktail that didn't mention that it was a warm cocktail. My Bru Old Fashioned was boring, like it was missing the bitters. We ordered the Triple Dip for an appetizer and we enjoyed that. It's hummus, guacamole, goat cheese and jam, served with onion straws and pita. We didn't get to finish much of it because our entrees, which were ordered after our cocktails and appetizer, came out very shortly after the appetizer was delivered. My daughter ordered the Patty Melt and Fries for her entree and I ordered the Fish Sandwich and Onion Rings. My daughter said the fries were ok but the patty melt was dry. My food was very unappetizing. Someone in the kitchen was heavy handed with the sugar in the breading that was used for the onion rings and fish. It was off putting. My daughter also likes onion rings and tried one and found them weird tasting also. The sugary taste of the breading definitely didn't compliment the fish sandwich or the onion rings. We asked for boxes and loaded the majority of both of our food into them so that my daughter could give it to her friend who was working late - hoping to not waste so much food and money. We ended up here because the restaurants in the area all had an hour wait. This place had a 10 minute wait - on a Friday night. We decided to give them a chance - even though our last experience at the downtown location was bad enough that we both said we wouldn't return. Well - the service was a bit better at this location but the food is just as subpar.

Not a bad experience, meat fresh, fries were fresh & the service was great! Restaurant super clean and inviting.

The service was wonderful. We were greeted nicely at the door and then by our server. We got cocktails - the German mulled red wine (she warmed it up for me even though we were there for lunch), Sweet Juniper, and Snowcap Martini. They were all good. We skipped the appetizers since we saw how big the sandwiches were with the fries. We got 3 different kinds of burger and a salmon sandwich. As you can see the fries were mountainess and the burgers were a good size and enjoyed. I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon! We didn't try dessert since no one had room - next time! The restaurant is nice and clean (including the bathrooms). Good bar.

My family dined here last weekend for the first time. We walked in & it was a really nice upscale burger bar atmosphere. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing our waitress was. If you get the chance to dine in Adrienne M.'s section, consider yourself very fortunate! She has such a bright & bubbly personality & honestly knows the menu inside & out. She was so incredibly helpful & really goes above & beyond in her service. She is an absolute delight. Now to the food. We skipped the appetizers, although plenty sounded good, & went straight for burgers & sides. Every burger is customizable to fit what you want. I ordered the Black & Bleu Bison Burger (Cajun Seasoning, Gorgonzola, Bacon, Mayo, Garden - $16.50) as-is, prepared medium with a side of fries ($2.50). As soon as I took a bite into this burger, I knew we chose the right place for dinner (as if the atmosphere & service hadn't been telling enough). The burger was seasoned perfectly & had such great layers of flavor. The bacon was crispy & the cheese was tangy & pungent. I enjoyed the fries as well as the ketchup that was clearly made in-house. My husband had the Mexicali BBQ Burger (White Queso, Pickled Jalapeño, Guacamole, Fried Onion, House Chipotle BBQ Sauce, Lettuce, Tomato - $14.50) as-is, prepared medium with a side of onion rings ($4.50). We always share a portion of our dish with each other & my goodness, his burger did not disappoint. I am typically not a BBQ fan, but the blend of savory, smoky, creamy, & spicy - wow. It was hard to put down. He must have enjoyed the onion rings, I believe I recall him mentioning they were well-battered & I don't believe any were left over. Our son had a turkey burger with white American cheese and bacon on a white bun ($19.50). I didn't try his, but I will say he's a teen & was talking about how well-seasoned he thought it was, so I think that counts for something lol. He said the fries were ok, there was something about them he didn't quite like, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He still ate plenty of them as they were still "ok." I will reiterate that I enjoyed mine, & my husband seemed to like them when he tried them. Our bill totaled $71.95 pre-tip & while that may seem a little steep for burgers, you truly do get what you pay for! These burgers were next-level & I know we will be back to enjoy them again & again.

This laid-back burger joint had lots of free garage parking. Initially, the service was prompt, but our server seemed to vanish after delivering our entrees. The mushroom and Swiss burger was fantastic, and the chili cheese fries I had on the side were delicious.

Food was really good actually, it's the service that was the issue tonight. All of our drinks ran empty because we had to literally ask for any additional drinks every time we wanted one. We weren't drinking items that are free refills, we were drinking beer and cocktails and still had to ask. They were not that busy, so it was truly hard to understand. Probably not going back anytime soon, but not every night can be a home run. Hopefully was just a bad night for them.

Lower score because I was judged harshly by my server about where I lived, them being uppity and saying, "Eww, I'd never live there." After observation it seems mostly "regulars" dine here, I must have not looked expensive enough, or behaved poorly enough. For the price, I shouldn't be leaving hungry, or ashamed. If you haven't been to MPH Brewing in Montgomery, you're either stuck in traffic... or parked…read moresomewhere three blocks away wondering if this place is really worth the walk. Spoiler: it is. The only real complaint here is that the parking situation occasionally resembles a Black Friday doorbuster...,,except instead of discounted TVs, you're fighting for proximity to exceptional beer and people who actually seem glad you showed up. From the moment you walk in, you get hit with something rare these days: genuine, unscripted hospitality. Sierra, the general manager, runs the place with the kind of quiet authority that says, "Yes, we're in control....and yes, you're going to enjoy yourself." She's sharp, composed, and clearly the reason everything hums instead of hiccups. Then there's Maddie...her sister....who is essentially a human champagne cork. Every interaction pops, sparkles, and somehow gets more entertaining the longer you're around her. Watching Sierra and Maddie interact is like seeing discipline and delightful chaos shake hands and decide to run a brewery together. The result? A place that feels both dialed-in and alive. Caroline deserves her own headline. Not just pleasant...precision-level accommodating. The kind of service where you don't have to ask twice, and usually don't even have to ask once. She and Maddie made sure we were completely taken care of out on the porch, including getting a fire going when the temperature dipped into that sneaky "do I need a jacket or not?" zone. That's not service..,.that's anticipation. The food? Legitimately strong. The prosciutto and fig jam pizza hits that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and "why did we not order two of these?" Their salads don't feel like a punishment, and the sandwiches,,..let's just say people aren't exaggerating. You'll see tables guarding them like trade secrets. Now the beer....this is where MPH separates itself from the "nice patio, average product" crowd you find scattered along certain nearby river-adjacent zones. These beers don't just show up,,.they perform. Clean, well-crafted, and across a lineup that feels like a brewmaster who knows exactly what he's doing and isn't guessing. You could drop several of these into a national competition and they wouldn't just participate--they'd make noise. What stands out most is the environment. Relaxed without being lazy, energetic without being chaotic. If the weather cooperates, sitting outside is one of the most enjoyable, almost unfairly pleasant experiences you'll find in Montgomery. There's really nothing else like it in the immediate area, it's not trying to copy anything, and that's exactly why it works. Bottom line: MPH Brewing is what happens when ownership hires well, trains well, and then gets out of the way of good people doing good work. Just plan your parking strategy like you're invading Normandy--or bring comfortable shoes. Either way, you'll leave glad you made the effort.
