Tried this place for the first time using a coupon we got in the mail. First impression, t's definitely a loud, family-friendly bar with the bar area and dining area somewhat separated. They had a DJ playing music and were hosting bingo at the same time, so it was a lively, high-energy atmosphere. The staff was friendly, which I appreciated. Our waitress was especially accommodating. My son ordered a BLT not realizing what it was, and she had no problem letting him switch to a chicken sandwich. The menu is pretty large with lots of options. I ordered 10 buffalo wings and asked for them extra crispy, they did come out crispy, which I liked, but the buffalo sauce was just okay to me, nothing special. My husband ordered the patty melt with fries and said it was good. I tried some of the fries and really liked them. We also got cheese curds as an appetizer, and those were pretty good. My husband was a little disappointed they didn't have Mango Cart, so he went with a Blue Moon with an orange instead. I love coming here for the wings. During the week they have 0.99 wings that has to be ordered in 4's. Which is not bad !!! They are delicious and don't take long. It is a bar setting, but it was one time I walked in and 3 servers were just staring at me and didn't ask service me. I had to walk on to them. read more

Who is keeping this place open? It's so gross. Like, just be a bar. (which I couldn't speak on the spirits as I myself did not partake). We stopped in here on a Saturday because we wanted a new place to try but didn't want to drive far. We ended up at Shakers. They're located in the same strip as Kroger. We arrived and were grated and got drinks really quick. Our waitress was great. The food was terrible and also expensive. We tried the salad bar, the wings and an appetizer sampler. The salad bar was pretty basic but I wanted soup. The soup wasn't even hot. I brought this to the waitresses attention and she checked and said someone hadn't turned on the burners but she got them turned on and it would be warm soon. Ewe. It sat there for hours not heated or refrigerated and they just turned it on instead of throwing it out. The sampler wasn't good either. The tortilla chips tasted like they came out of a bag. The mozzarella sticks tasted like they were straight out of a freezer after being frost bitten. The wings and the quesadillas were mediocre. The marinara was ice cold. The whole meal was like $75. IT WAS UNNECESSARILY LOUD ON TRIVIA NIGHT WHEN WE ARRIVED! There are no prices printed on the menu. Luckily I had a coupon. Initially the service was slow but once our order was taken, our appetizer arrived in 7 minutes and our entrees about 10 minutes after. The loaded tots appetizer was very good. The tots were crispy and the toppings were plentiful. My companion enjoyed his breaded tenderloin Sandwich and I enjoyed my Reuben. I was in the area for work and wanted a nice local hole in the wall and I found it. It was a Thursday evening and they were a bit slow, but that didn't stop them. The bartender took care of me and she was fantastic. She kept my drink full, knew all about the food, and had the perfect amount of conversation. I had the boom boom shrimp and six wings, so good. The Thai chili dipping sauce was amazing and I almost licked the bowl clean, but held back! The next time I'm in town, I know where I'll be going. read more

One of the weirdest restaurant experiences I've ever had. There were only 4 tables and we were the fifth. It took 30 minutes to get two drinks. She then left us and didn't bother to ask what we wanted to eat. She finally comes back and asks to take our order. She leaves and 15 minutes later she comes back to sit down towels and leaves us while every other table is eating. At this point, it's been an hour and she has never come back to fill our cups and we received no food or the shots we ordered. We go to the bar to pay for the two drinks we received and saw our shots sitting there. Multiple times I caught the server standing around and on the phone. She did not care to do her job and it felt like this bad service was on purpose. I'm not sure if she stereotyped and thought we wouldn't tip, but I'll have you know that I tip my servers MORE than 20 percent. We went there cuz we had a coupon & the colts were playing. Seemed dead, only like less than 10 people there. Food was ok. I had the salmon entree. It came with mashed potatoes with the skin which I'm not a fan & Brussel sprouts which was super al dente (hard to chew), the salmon was ok, I like to order it med rare cuz I believe if it's cooked all the way, it gets too dry. Hubby had the Nachos with steak, a $5 up charge which they didn't mentioned. Another negative we didn't like is that there a guy with a little girl (about 7yrs old) that was in the bar area. A really nice sports bar. Very open and clean atmosphere. They have a huge bar and do trivia on one night of the week. All you can eat wings on Wednesday and Sunday. They have a nice salad bar as well. The server was very nice and quick. Welcomed us when we came in and kept coming back to check and refill drinks. Order came quickly. Unfortunately, after they brought our food, our waitress became distracted by her family who came in and we didn't see her again until time to get our check. Spent half of the meal without anything to drink. The food was pretty good. The seasoned fries were excellent. The wings were good, not very spicy but he ordered mild buffalo wings so he didn't expect much. We also got beef sliders which were more or less small single smash burgers with a pickle American cheese and an onion ring. They were pretty average buns a little stale. First time here. I got the tenderloin with fries and my friend got a cheeseburger and onion rings. The tenderloin was okay, a little over done, nothing spectacular for the Hoosier state. The fries were wimpy and said "seasoned" but were not. The burger was good and the onion rings were quite tasty. They have a ton of TV screens so likely a fun place to watch sports. My family and Indecided to go to shakers and play music bingo. They have music bingo on Tuesdays at 7pm. We all ordered sweet teas. My son and I split a pepperoni pizza and added a salad bar. My husband got the chicken tender dinner. My other son got the mini cheeseburgers. The food was ok. Nothing fancy or anything that would be helpful. The fries do need to be crispier, they were soggy. I coach gymnastics close to Shakers so I've passed this area 100s of times but never knew this place existed. My daughter had a basketball tournament and we had time in between games so we were looking for a spot for the team to be able to eat. We did call ahead to be sure they could accommodate us. It looks small on the outside, but you walk in and it's actually quite roomy! They had a large area set up for us. We had one server for about 20 people and she did a great job keeping the orders straight and checking in. We did have a couple orders come out extremely late (like after everyone was done - this is why 4 stars). Overall, meals were well liked. The girls LOVED the french toast. I originally tried Shakers back when they were newly opened. We ordered for delivery that time and were not pleased with the experience. The delivery was super delayed, the food arrived cold, and the sandwich I ordered wasn't good (maybe due to delivery time). We figured we might try again once they were around a bit longer and when we had a chance to visit in person. Fast forward to now, we needed to grocery shop last night but were very hungry and it's never a good idea for us to shop on an empty stomach. Shakers didn't look busy so we figured we'd try it out--we'd also heard they had a new owner so I was hopeful. We had to wait a few minutes to be greeted and seated and the food did take a good amount of time to come out, but it was delicious! My husband got a Country Fried Chicken Bowl and I had Fish & Chips. The portions were huge (I should have taken a picture but jumped right in!) for really reasonable prices and my leftovers reheated well. The new owner introduced himself and our server was helpful. The tenderloin was yummy and it was big enough for two meals. I took half home for later. The salad bar had plenty of traditional salad bar toppings, plus a couple soup options, and fruit. Went here on a date. Bartender was kori. Was extremely rude throughout the whole service but I bit my tongue as I was on a date w her baby daddy here. I believe she got my card info, and my phone number. She began harassing my phone for almost a full hour! Of back to back calls and messages. Overall it would've been a nice experience given setting and food. But she ruined it completely as a grown adult woman she can't keep it professional at all and is actually violent. I think she would be a threat to future customers if the wrong thing was to be said or done to her and that she is well deserving of being fired. Her actions were uncalled for. We ordered two tenderloin sandwiches, my husband got steak fries and I got onion rings. We said we would pick up the order. We live 3 minutes away from the restaurant. Unfortunately the food was just barely warm, but as people that order online a lot that is something we have come to expect. It is hard to keep food hot for any period of time and I don't hold that against the restaurant or its staff. The tenderloins were good, tender, well seasoned and crunchy. They are very large. My husband's sandwich had a complete bun, mine only had half a bun.
