Brucar Locksmith provided excellent fast service at a really excellent price. These are the people to call for a rekey or entry lock problem. Our house front door has been an issue for several years. Two other mobile locksmith companies have tried and failed to get our lock to function properly. We were ready to replace the entire 5 point locking system. They were very timely at arriving to remove a storage lock. I am giving them a three star only because it took an hour and a half and the damage to the handle afterwards. While I spoke to the storage place and they said he could have smoothed it out, we are luckily not being dinged for it. They did offer to pay for damage so I give them that. The guy was super nice so I really do feel bad giving them a three star but if they didn't have experience with the lock they could have told me on the phone and I would have called someone else who would have popped it right off. An hour and a half to take it off was definitely excessive. There is a bright-side for everyone else though he now knows to just drill the drum. Once he drilled it took 10 minutes. read more

I really cannot say enough about Joe and Brucar Locksmith. I had another service come over to install a new lock on my door and they couldn't. Now comes Brucar, they took about 45 mins, or less, to install the lock and enlarge the deadbolt hole. The most wonderful thing is Joe stayed and worked the lock over and over to make sure the door and plates worked like a machine....they were out of alignment before and you had to push and pull the door to get the deadbolt to sit solid. I don't often have the need for a locksmith, but I would not hesitate to call them again and recommend them 100% for your needs. read more

Very unhappy with this company. I was led to believe the estimate was free, but then was charged for a service charge $65. My over $500 estimate for a mechanical lock on our side gate was for a deadbolt. I called the lock manufacturer who said I didn't need a deadbolt and gave me the model number of the lock to buy. This saved me over $100 I phoned Brucar and the front office woman had a very difficult time understanding the new information. I asked for a revised quote but was told the price was still $500 plus. She said something about upping the installationand labor fee, but couldn't tell me why. This made no sense to me. I asked her to talk to the locksmith who came out originally and see about a reduction in the estimate. No one ever bothered to contact me. I still think they should refund my supposedly free estimate. read more
