I went during their soft opening and I was expecting special prices or samples but everything was full priced. The attendant at the register was very helpful as I told him i liked matcha but wasn't available at the time so he recommend me the Jade Rabbit that was an Oolong with sweet cream. I also asked to add their house boba. It took about 10 minutes for my handcrafted boba tea to be ready. The presentation was spectacular and super flavorful, specially the fresh boba (to die for). Prices are in the high end but if you are looking for a good quality treat go for it. They also sell gelato and bubble waffles next door. Amazing 10/10 the atmosphere is tranquil and calming. I will for sure come here to get work done. It's small though so maybe 8 tables to sit and drink and get work done. But the matcha is EXCELLENT!! they do the sweetness here perfectly. The perfectly sweet is literally perfectly and you can modify to less sweet or not sweet. I also got the sticky mango rice and the flavor was amazing adjust the rice you can tell was not made fresh but i didn't care about that much. The mango was also perfectly ripe. The only reason why I did not provide five stars is because I couldn't try a plain, iced hojicha - they just don't offer a plain/black iced tea. I tried their grapefruit green spring (75% sweetness with house pearl) and hoji cha oatmilk tea (50% sweetness, no pearl). The grapefruit green spring was just a bit too sweet for me and the house pearl was of perfect consistency for me. The pearls were very soft and chewy - not like gummy bear chewy, softer, almost melt in your mouth kind of chewy. There was a tiny bit of grapefruit pulp, but mainly pink grapefruit juice/concentrate mixed in with the green tea. This was my first time trying hojicha in general - I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew it was going to be smokier than regular matcha, and that is a good representation of what is hojicha. I think I could have gone a bit sweeter than 50%, but less than 75%. It's a nice tasting hojicha latte, the roasted flavor of the tea isn't overpowering and has less caffeine. The atmosphere here is very laid back. There were a few people working on their laptops and others just enjoying their drinks. I saw there was gelato sold here as well, but will have to save that for another time. This is the best matcha I have had in town. The mango is all from fresh mangos, no mango flavor syrups! Even their mango ice cream is just straight up mangos. Their boba is freshly rolled in small batches every two hours and they are so soft and scrumptious. The sun moon lake boba tea is my other favorite thing to get. As a CA native, I am usually very picky with my matchas and milk teas. Upon visiting Brucha, I walked into the cafe and the tea leaves were already smelling so delicate and fresh. It was also a packed day, so I knew immediately, this was gonna be good! I got the matcha latte as a way to taste test and I was very impressed by the quality of matcha powder that they used. The workers also whisked the matcha very properly! I can tell they really take their time to make quality drinks. For me, I really like when there is more of the tea taste and that matcha was a bright green color, which means that they're using ceremonial grade matcha! An additional cuteness factor is the rope holders they utilize in all of their drinks! If I am ever in Tucson again, I will be sure to taste test all of the drinks that they have! In terms of the atmosphere of the cafe, there were also plenty of seats, great smelling tea leaves, and a modern twist on cafes! Note that it goes from 0% to 50%, 75% & 100%. Oddly there is no 25-30%. My son got the Jade Rabbit with boba. Their boba is by far the best hands down. Consistency is super soft and fresh. Their tea reminds me of Chicha San but with a stronger prominent tea flavor coming through. Absolutely exquisite. I have been so disappointed with boba shops as of late. I was so excited to come here once I heard about the banana cream matcha latte, and it didn't disappoint! I opted for the standard matcha (they have two options; one is $1.50 extra) with 75% sweetness, and it was just the right combination of nutty matcha, rich creaminess, and sweet banana. I also tried the strawberry matcha latte and really enjoyed the abundance of fruit pieces and the balance of flavors. I appreciate that oat milk is an option without an up-charge, but I spent almost $19 on two drinks. Due to the higher prices, this isn't a place I'd come often, but it's a great option when I'm craving matcha or want to treat myself. The menu has so many options that look delicious, and there's even a gelato bar, plus lots of seating. My friend told me about this place and I knew I had to try it out during this visit to Tucson! I Doordashed it a couple days ago, went in person yesterday, and going back there today! I tried a couple of milk teas (bruncha house style milk tea and sun moon lake house style milk tea) and the mango green spring tea. I liked the atmosphere, aesthetic, service and tea! Coming from Orange County, I have a lot of boba options back there, and of course I have my favorite spots! This spot reminds me of one of my favorite spots back home with the fancy looking tea machines, tea-forward drinks, service and the sugar levels! This place is a vibe ok from the interior and furniture to the drink selection and look at this packaging- it's on point-- the music was cool too-- The atmosphere is sophisticated, super chill and groovy all at the same time They have 4 styles of drinks - and 10 teas to choose and from what I was told the selection of combos are limitless-- I decided to try the lime custard drink with agar pearls in it--and it was fantastic!! We tried this place for the first time and I can't wait to come back again. I love the style/decor of the place and the music that was playing in there. It almost makes me wish I was in school again so I could study there. The boba pearls are the best that I have ever had. Super soft and the perfect proportion to tea. I was really impressed at their grand opening. It was very organized, prompt and welcoming. This is more of a tea lovers spot where you won't see blended drinks or flavors that you might see at other boba spots. They take their tea very seriously. Best milk tea I have ever had- and I get boba almost every week (both in Phoenix and Tucson) I got the Jade Rabbit Oolong Tea (Milk tea style at 75% sweetness, which Salted Cream Mousse) and it tasted AMAZING! My sister recommended it to me after saying it tasted like the White Rabbit candies we grew up eating and it exceeded my expectations. The lid didn't stand on too well for us. Why not just plastic seal it? We also ordered the Japan fish dessert. The mochi was perfect. The filling however was ok. Didn't get too much filling. Upon entering the space, Brucha showed extreme promise. The environment was calming and professionally decorated to create a luxurious cafe atmosphere. The cleanliness stood out from any other bubble tea spots, even the restroom was spotless. The care showed by the workers when brewing their tea was impressive as well as their dedication to great customer service. The worker called Luke took our order and helped us find the most suitable drink amongst their selection. I'm not someone who typically writes reviews but the quality of their drinks really stood out to me; We ordered the matcha latte, the Brucha milk tea, the honey-lemon spring tea and the strawberry Hojicha. What I can say is that as a person who generally does not order matcha for its overly grassy/bitter/syrup-y taste, their matcha was very refreshing; an extremely vibrant green, slightly sweet with minimal bitterness. Overall very enjoyable. The three other teas were equally, if not more amazing. It's typically pretty difficult nowadays to find a bubble tea store where you can taste the flavours of tea, and Brucha really nailed down the harmonization of sweetness/fruitiness/creaminess.
