Love this concept - freshly brewed tea in these espresso style machines, made to order. There are recommended pairings or you can choose your tea base, style (milk options), and add-ons (boba, jelly etc.). The milk teas are delicious - if you're a fan of strong tea flavors, you'll enjoy these teas, and the boba is freshly made (nice and chewy). I like that they have the lactose free options too (house style milk teas). You can adjust your sweetness level; the drinks run on the less sweet level which I like. The bubble waffles are ordered at a separate window and are also delicious - so light and buttery even when plain; I'll have to go back to try with some toppings. This place is so packed! The interior is beautiful. I ordered the banana cream matcha latte, coconut cream matcha latte, strawberry matcha latte, and the house brucha milk tea. Each drink is delicious, but the banana cream matcha latte is my favorite! I've never have banana with matcha before, but they go so well together. They are quite expensive though and they include a good amount of ice. I'm not the type to chug my matcha quickly, so it became a little watered down. First impressions: the way they brew their teas reminded me of Chicha San Chen in California where I'm from. My friend told me this was the best boba in Tucson, so I was already excited. Well thought out interior designs all around. Very calming and you can't hear the noise from a street that is pretty busy. Tucson has another been graced with another wonderful boba shop! I came in with some friends really excited to see Brucha up and running. Right away you can tell the aesthetics have been thought out. It really is a beautiful shop. It strikes that nice balance of contemporary minimalism. It makes grabbing boba with friends feel extra special! I thought it was a nice touch that you were able to smell the tea before ordering a drink. I don't think anywhere in town is offering that type of experience I ordered the Brucha tea with the cream. The tea itself is packaged with a lot of care! The drink itself was very good. The tea tasted incredibly fresh, lots of dimension and body and the pearls were fabulous. I saw a couple other people echo a similar sentiment that at $9 the drink was a little expensive. Not to say that the quality doesn't represent the price, but I don't think I could make this as frequent a purchase given the price point. Please be warned however, based on the quality of the tea (strong steep) I had a huge caffeine buzz afterwards! Maybe a great option if you have a full day ahead of you. I went during their soft opening and I was expecting special prices or samples but everything was full priced. The attendant at the register was very helpful as I told him i liked matcha but wasn't available at the time so he recommend me the Jade Rabbit that was an Oolong with sweet cream. I also asked to add their house boba. It took about 10 minutes for my handcrafted boba tea to be ready. The presentation was spectacular and super flavorful, specially the fresh boba (to die for). Prices are in the high end but if you are looking for a good quality treat go for it. They also sell gelato and bubble waffles next door. Amazing milk tea in Tucson!!!!! I love the packaging of the drinks, it's so aesthetic. The interior is clean and modern with lots of tables and spacious. My favorite is the iron goddess house style milk tea - it has a very earthy tea taste (we ordered 50% sugar which I recommended). Amazing 10/10 the atmosphere is tranquil and calming. I will for sure come here to get work done. It's small though so maybe 8 tables to sit and drink and get work done. The only reason why I did not provide five stars is because I couldn't try a plain, iced hojicha - they just don't offer a plain/black iced tea. I tried their grapefruit green spring (75% sweetness with house pearl) and hoji cha oatmilk tea (50% sweetness, no pearl). The grapefruit green spring was just a bit too sweet for me and the house pearl was of perfect consistency for me. The pearls were very soft and chewy - not like gummy bear chewy, softer, almost melt in your mouth kind of chewy. There was a tiny bit of grapefruit pulp, but mainly pink grapefruit juice/concentrate mixed in with the green tea. This was my first time trying hojicha in general - I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew it was going to be smokier than regular matcha, and that is a good representation of what is hojicha. I think I could have gone a bit sweeter than 50%, but less than 75%. It's a nice tasting hojicha latte, the roasted flavor of the tea isn't overpowering and has less caffeine. The atmosphere here is very laid back. There were a few people working on their laptops and others just enjoying their drinks. I saw there was gelato sold here as well, but will have to save that for another time. I think Brucha has my favorite pearls/boba. I will definitely return again. read more

As a CA native, I am usually very picky with my matchas and milk teas. Upon visiting Brucha, I walked into the cafe and the tea leaves were already smelling so delicate and fresh. It was also a packed day, so I knew immediately, this was gonna be good! I got the matcha latte as a way to taste test and I was very impressed by the quality of matcha powder that they used. The workers also whisked the matcha very properly! I can tell they really take their time to make quality drinks. For me, I really like when there is more of the tea taste and that matcha was a bright green color, which means that they're using ceremonial grade matcha! An additional cuteness factor is the rope holders they utilize in all of their drinks! If I am ever in Tucson again, I will be sure to taste test all of the drinks that they have! In terms of the atmosphere of the cafe, there were also plenty of seats, great smelling tea leaves, and a modern twist on cafes! I am blown away by all the high tech tea machines. I have visited at least 80+ boba shops and I have to say, this one takes the #1 spot for me. Love the creative names for their drinks. I opted for the standard matcha (they have two options; one is $1.50 extra) with 75% sweetness, and it was just the right combination of nutty matcha, rich creaminess, and sweet banana. I also tried the strawberry matcha latte and really enjoyed the abundance of fruit pieces and the balance of flavors. I appreciate that oat milk is an option without an up-charge, but I spent almost $19 on two drinks. Due to the higher prices, this isn't a place I'd come often, but it's a great option when I'm craving matcha or want to treat myself. The menu has so many options that look delicious, and there's even a gelato bar, plus lots of seating. Coming from Orange County, I have a lot of boba options back there, and of course I have my favorite spots! This spot reminds me of one of my favorite spots back home with the fancy looking tea machines, tea-forward drinks, service and the sugar levels! It is a bit pricey at $8 per drink, but that's comparable to the prices now at the spots back in OC. I would've loved to have this spot back when I went to U of A! This place is a vibe ok from the interior and furniture to the drink selection and look at this packaging- it's on point-- the music was cool too-- The atmosphere is sophisticated, super chill and groovy all at the same time They have 4 styles of drinks - and 10 teas to choose and from what I was told the selection of combos are limitless-- I decided to try the lime custard drink with agar pearls in it--and it was fantastic!! Now if you want some grub, they do have some cute little mochi Taiyaki and handmade gelato you can buy at the self-service kiosk inside of the restaurant-- And by the way there's a guy behind the glass making fresh boba by hand. We tried this place for the first time and I can't wait to come back again. I love the style/decor of the place and the music that was playing in there. It almost makes me wish I was in school again so I could study there. The boba pearls are the best that I have ever had. Super soft and the perfect proportion to tea. We tried the Brucha milk tea, green tea with sweet cream top, and the horchija with salt cream top. We came right before closing and there was a huge rush, the green tea was a little burnt but that's just me being very picky at this point.
