I've had on and off experiences here. The store is generally value friendly and so I come often (about once a week). Pro-tip, in app purchase come with free coffee. The service is generally efficient enough that I don't mind occasional lapses but my most recent experience with the store and the company's customer service department was disappointing. My last purchase was for a salmon bagel and there was a piece of plastic wrap from what must have been the packaging in my food (one that I found). I believe I might have ingested more that I did not see as I felt sick that day. Food safety is not one that I would ever toy around with, especially given how many kids eat here. I contacted customer service and had to run around gathering information for them to appropriately respond. For a $10 sandwich and dozen of exchanges I had just about enough that I'm leaving this review. read more

It's a good menu. I don't normally eat bagels, but you can request a skinny bagel and add an extra egg to your sandwich for a lower carb, high protein breakfast sandwich. The bagels are great and they make them fresh every morning and will also make them throughout the day as necessary. The eggs are also real eggs and not that premade egg disk that most places sell you. The problem with this place is that they rarely get your order correct. I understand it's fast food, so I shouldn't expect too much, but it's pretty annoying when you're paying $8+ for an egg sandwich and they don't make it the way that you asked. I wish they would go old school and make your sandwich to order first and then have you pay afterwards. It's also often more of a wait than I'd like, but I put up with it occasionally bc the bagels really are that good. This place had a closed dining room for the longest time starting since Covid. I noticed today they recently added 5-6 tables (the dining area fits much more than this). The lighting is dim and it doesn't seem super inviting. Also, this is not the restaurant's fault but some of the other customers who frequent this place are rude and pushy so you have to be witness to some really odd customer interaction while you're waiting for your food. read more

This used to be one of my favorite spots and I was a regular but they have unfortunately gone so down hill. The prices have gone up and the amount of food has gone significantly down. Like seriously the portions that used to be big are tiny now. Also the bagels used to taste so fresh and flavorful but recently they have been dry and bland. The last couple times I've been in there they have been out of at least two of the bagels on the menu I wanted both being pretty common. Also, I always thought they were pricy but I was willing to pay it when it first opened because of how good it was but not anymore it's ridiculous. The veggies taste old and like they have been sitting there forever. Also the hours have gotten so weird every time I try to go they are closed! The staff is sometimes fine or sometimes very rude! Changed their bagel recipe and now they're flat doughy and chewy bagels. Used to be fluffy and crisp that were actually worth buying.

For many years I have been a Brueggers defender. Chewy interior, crisp crust, nice size. I didn't feel like I was eating bread in the shape of a bagel. Not any more. The last two times we've been the bagels have been soft, inconsistent in size (3.75 ounces to just over the 4 oz they used to be - measured three traditional varieties) , the specialty bagels were flat and unable to be sliced in half unless you wanted two ultra thin sides. I don't know if this is a part of the whole shrink-flation impacting restaurants and packages foods, a corporate change in recipe, or just poor quality control but our family will be looking elsewhere for a bagel. read more

Overall the bagels are a good size, not overfilled like most places, Bagels are on the thinner side which I don't mind, customer service is average what you'll expect in most fast food areas, not rude but not welcoming, they have 4 hight top tables with 3 chairs for each table. read more

I wrote a bad review back in 2018 and here is another one. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and I go back occasionally and try to ignore some hygiene issues. However, this morning was it for me. Never will I step foot in that place. The lady who is always preparing the bagel sandwiches does not need to handle food if she lacks hygiene protocol. Today there was a long and slow line because they have one person behind the register and she prepares drinks as well. So while I am standing there and people were still in front of me, I couldn't help but notice her, first trying to wipe her nose with her arm, that obviously did not work out for her so she tilts her head, stuck her nose in her shirt and started blowing her nose. I stood in shock and all the while thinking I am going to let her prepare ny bagel. I ran out in disgust. Whoever is reading these reviews-people handling food can always go in the back blow their noses then wash their hands. read more

I was actually really excited to try this place out as I wanted a quick breakfast but not your ordinary DD breakfast sandwich. I decided to try their turkey chipotle on a bagel. I asked the cashier what she recommended for Jamba Juice and she said she swears by this berry drink because it's nice and sweet while it being healthy.(which I'm now forgetting the name of) According to the description of the sandwich, this comes with avocado but I was disappointed when there wasn't any inside and I even asked for EXTRA avocado as well. And this supposedly comes with bacon? There was only one small piece. This sandwich/bagel had more tomatoes than anything else. Also, the Jamba Juice berry smoothie was a total rip off. It tasted like complete steel-as if their machines had rusted or they haven't washed their machines properly. I do have to say their bagels with jalapeño cream cheese is good. If I do come back, which I highly doubt, I will only get the bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. FYI- they have tables with seats to sit down and enjoy your breakfast, but most of the time people are sitting their hogging up a whole 6-8 person table with 1 person sitting down while drinking their coffee reading the newspaper. Oh my goodness, this might just be my new favorite place... we decided to stop by here after our usual what-should-we-have-for-lunch conversation, which basically consists of "you pick" and "no, you pick" every single time. I'm glad we settled on Bruegger's Bagels because I was immediately a fan. The store interior is wide and spacious with a sizable seating area. There's a good outdoor seating section as well. Their menu is pretty extensive, offering a variety of bagels and spreads. You can make your own combination or pick from a list of their signature creations. I had their Leonardo da Veggie bagel, which consisted of: a herb garlic cream cheese spread, red peppers, muenster cheese, lettuce, and tomato- all on an Asiago parmesan bagel. It was so good and filling!!! The vegetables tasted crunchy and fresh and the cheese spread went along incredibly well with the muenster cheese. I was truly blown away. I loved that the bagel had a good, flavorful crust. Everything was so neatly made and the service was quick! Bruegger's smoothie and juice menu is just as vast as their bagel menu. I LOVE their matcha smoothie (made with soy milk). We get this almost every time we visit. Its taste is prominent, smooth, and never overpowering- a perfect balance. We also tried their cookies and cream protein smoothie, which has whey protein and also bananas! The bananas part of the drink was definitely surprising, but it worked alongside the cookies-and-cream taste. I'm not sure if I'd get it again, but it was nice to try it. My husband wrote a negative review about the service here and now it's my turn. I cannot understand why, without fail, EVERY time we order there is a mistake. We ask to change the cheese from American to cheddar. It never happens. Do we want our bagels toasted? Yes please. It often doesn't happen, including today after they clarified twice that we did want them toasted. Today we received a random extra bagel in our order, no cucumber as added to our sandwich, we had to clarify 4 times with the people making our food that one bagel had no capers and onion and the other did. We still received the wrong items on both bagels. My husband didn't change his sandwich at all and it came with 2 total capers on the whole thing. I just don't understand why they cannot log the order accurately and just make it. This establishment is predictably unreliable. It is beyond frustrating. Corporate needs to look at this store's management, training program and organization behind the counter because it is unfathomable how they can mess up so many orders every single time. And look around at the frustration on peoples faces who are waiting in line...their look speaks volume. My phones on 3% yet I feel the need to write this. Today I bought 6 bagels and I was told "we can't cut them because we are too busy". This place was moderately busy. I've seen it much worse. Too busy? Can't cut 6 bagels? I looked at the cashier in disbelief. She said "I know, sorry, it's a new thing we are doing". This shouldn't surprise me. The service is always disorganized. My orders are messed up 90% of the time to the point where I have to say WE HAVE ALLERGIES SO PLEASE DO XYZ just to get my point across. Unorganized. Long wait times. Incorrect orders. I use to live in this city and shop in this city and enjoy this city. I don't anymore, why you ask? Divorce. It's fine. This is the city that just voted an override to increase their own property taxes because city hall overpays most of its employees and has been mismanaging money for years, and it finally caught up to them. That's okay all these young urban professionals will help line your pockets a bit more, rather than read your budget and see where you're drastically over paying. Take advantage of them and take their money while you can. Oh the bagels, man the bagels are so good, they have a sandwich the herby turkey that is just so fantastic. It's fresh and delicious. The crew who works here is happy, energetic and eager to please. This day I was helped by an older gentlemen who was training someone and I have to think he is either management or the owner because he really extended to himself to everyone he interacted with. If it weren't for your lack of parking here in your overrated city, I would certainly come here more often. They also have Jamba Juice and that's never a bad thing. Terrible breakfast sandwiches... One time I ordered iced tea and saw someone pour hot tea on some ice cubes and hand it to me lol. I forgot about it for a while and decided maybe their regular toasted bagels with cream cheese and some fresh OJ would be better because they're so simple... NOPE. Cold, old, untoasted cardboard bagel with a lump of cream cheese in the middle. With a side of general unpleasantness from staff? No thank you. And they never have OJ or carrot juice available. I'm always there by 9am and they're somehow sold out of juice... I just don't understand, it's not hard to make a good bagel or keep oranges/carrots around for juice (they never go bad!). What a convenient breakfast place which was 5 minutes from where we were staying at. They have the jamba juice healthy options (smoothies, juices, acai bowls) and also bagels. The food quality has gone downhill. They weren't baking bagels when I got there, despite doing a lively takeout lunch business. So, bagels were closer to the stale end of the spectrum then fresh. I couldn't taste the Turkey on my Turkey sandwich until the last bite. It was more veggies and spread than Turkey. However, the staff was great. No indoor dining, they have tables outside but no chairs. I was going to go yesterday since it was a beautiful day and called to check they were open on the holiday. I would press the phone tree number to speak to someone and repeatedly was directed back to the phone tree. David, today, blamed that on corporate. Website says nothing about no indoor or outdoor dining. Due to transportation issues, it meant I had to sit there for 90 minutes not eating. I was very excited to come here as who doesn't love a Jamba Juice and Bruegger's bagel combo midweek? I don't frequent this place often because it's rather out of the way but when I am in town it was definitely a go-to. However when I went last week, I just wasn't satisfied. Between the lack of good customer service (example: I couldn't find where the selection of cream cheese was listed and the cashier just pointed in a general direction, yes, up), my smoothie was just not was not satisfying and didn't taste the same (just to clarify I've been getting the same smoothie for years) and the overwhelming menu I just don't know if I'll be back any time soon. First time here but so far it gets 5 stars! It may be a chain, but I love their initiative to not have crazy/weird/chemical ingredients in their food. Not even Starbucks does that, and for their prices they should be all-natural! My mom and I are blueberry bagel lovers. I got mine with plain cream cheese & hers w/strawberry. We got iced teas also. It was nice to sit outside on Main Street. Staff was super friendly and helpful and brought out our order when we waited outside too long. Will go again and try other bagels and spreads! I love how they've changed up the decor since the remodel. I haven't tried Jamba Juice yet because I'm more of a bagel & coffee kind of girl, but I've heard it's good. The breakfast sandwiches are tasty and the bagel combo bags are PERFECT for group get togethers! Favorite Combos: Rosemary Olive Oil with Light Herb Garlic Cream Cheese Cinnamon Raisin with Honey Walnut Cream Cheese The coffee is always good and the other drink options. The Snapple or Nantucket Nectar is a staple with your bagel here. It's nice and cool inside and you'll find more parking if you go out back in the Shaws parking lot. I have never been to this chain before and it was convenient so I thought I'd try. I got a whole wheat bagel with tarragon chicken salad. I took my food to go and walked to my car. the bagel sandwich with sliced and on one side there was no chicken at all... The other slice had three small bites of chicken. I was wondering why it felt so small and light in my hand. I walked back and showed the only non-tween working at the place my sad sandwich. She said no problem and took it back looking a bit upset. They gave me a "new"sandwich but it was within 30 seconds and it was cold so it was obvious they just attempted to fix the same sandwich. Once again there were about five very tiny penny sized bites of chicken. I tried to eat it----the chicken was that gummy premium low-quality crap and I ended up eating the bagel with nothing inside.
