    Friendly workers
    Amber H.

We love this place! My kids and I have been going here for over 14 years now and there's no other bagel shop like this one. The workers are what make it amazing. The food is delicious and the customer service is outstanding. Such friendly workers and I've never encountered a bad one. The manager here is also really great. We are regulars and they know us by name. We went on St Patrick's Day and the workers were dressed up foe the occasion. So special.

Why aren't all bagels seasoned/topped on both sides??? Not only does this mean I can share a bagel without the anxiety of losing half of my top slice, but it means more seasoning falls off that can be sprinkled back on top! So good if you're eating a bagel with egg salad. We buy them by the dozen and freeze them for continuously fresh bagels, also that self-isolation life. Didn't realize that they have these handy freezer bags until our last dozen, and we've bought a baker's dozen already, so make sure you ask for a few (they fit 6 bagels per bag). Our household has very different views on how to reheat a bagel. Microwave 30 seconds, slice, I'm all about a good slather of butter and pan frying or pressing in a panini press (flat side not ridges). Trust me it steams the insides and crisps the edges just right. My brother would argue toasting it whole then slicing so you've got extra fluffy insides. If you've got a strong jaw, slice and toast. We've also enjoyed breakfast sandwiches there, but I have to be honest that it depends on how fresh the bagel is and how long they toast (never crisp enough for me). Only bagel I'd skip so far is the hashbrown, neat concept but too thin for me. Can't go wrong with asiago cheese (makes great tomato sandwiches, perfect Quarantine food!) and everything bagels. My sister loves the rosemary and sun-dried tomatoes. You can order ahead and pick up. Don't forget their app for coupons and collecting rewards. We're so close to a free dozen!

Love the Briar Creek Bruegger's! Guys are Always friendly! Always cleaning talk to you ! Here is an update---the girl today was not nice or good! First she didn't want to take my coupon then I kept telling her I would like a small coffee I also told her I would like just a little hazelnut then the rest regular. Then before she got the coffee she charged me for a large I said no a small... ok she went to fill the coffee and I said would you like to know again how I would like it? She said you can tell me after.... I said no I would like a small amount of hazelnut the rest regular. I used to really like this place. I will go to another location.

My husband likes the better bacon cheddar, says that's is very good. I absolutely love the siracha honey sunrise, if you haven't had it you need to try it. The siracha honey cream cheese is a party for your taste buds. They have their cream cheese on display for you to buy and sometimes I'll take a siracha honey cream cheese with me and let me tell you a secret- you ready? that stuff tastes good on ANYTHING. You're welcome.

Great place to get some fantastic bagels. Far better than the bagels I got on a local joint in New Jersey. One thing I did find confusing while coming here for the first time was where the line started. I think they should hang a sign up saying "order here" as the line starts at the back of the room and then you walk towards the front to pay at the end. Limited seating at busy times but plenty of very kind people and helpful staff. I tried a few of their menu items including a new "The skinny" Bacon Avocado & tomato egg white sandwich. I've yet to find something I've disliked here and I'll be sure to come back to try even more.

    Western Brisket Lunch Sandwich

Freshly baked bagels are always a good idea. Bring a little patience and prepared to line up -- you're getting real good bagels anyway. Parking: It's a little challenging in front. I suggest you check the back. There are usually available slots. Staff: They all look so serious but the staff that attended us was able to suggest what's best. Restroom: There's a nearby restroom. It's clean and maintained neatly.

Ummmm Bruegger's... what happened? Was there a sudden cream cheese shortage that I haven't heard about?

Their bagels are wood fired so they're not your traditional style of bagels and are a bit harder and chewier. Their variety of cream cheese flavors is what really sets them apart in my opinion - they very dense and creamy. They also have a very unique menu with many different seasonal offerings that rotate frequently. Over the years, I've fine tuned down my order to a couple things each of which I think are 10/10 and some of the best breakfast options in Raleigh! - Grits bagel with dulce pecan or fruit cream cheese (I prefer the grits bagel over plain) - Poppy bagel with spiced honey cream cheese (warning the poppy bagel can be a little messy but worth it) - Breakfast sandwich with sausage and American cheese (sausage is the best - a little sweet and spicy) Every time I go, the staff is always very nice and provides quick service. It can be busy during the mornings and weekends, however they do offer online ordering where you can easily pick up your food and avoid the lines. This location is in transfer food hall, which has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, however they also have a new standalone location that recently opened. If you go to that location, I definitely recommend trying the coconut caramel latte!

A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.

A bialy (bee-AH-lee) is a traditional Polish-Jewish bread roll, similar to a bagel but with key differences: it is baked, not boiled, has a dimpled center filled with onion bits and poppy seeds, and is generally softer and less dense. Originating in Białystok, Poland, these rolls are traditionally served plain or toasted with toppings like butter or schmear. 2. Rye shortbread. Not too sweet. Just perfection! 3. Bran biscotti. I like the idea of a high-fiber bran biscotti over a refined flour one. 4. Buchi Tepache. I got the mango-pineapple flavor. This is a local NC brand. It's a mildly fermented drink that originated in Mexico. I got the ingredients from their website (drinkbuchi.com): Organic Tibicos (Water, Organic Fair Trade Certified™* Cane Sugar, Organic Kefir Culture), Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Mango Puree, Organic Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Organic Whole Lemon Puree, Organic Mango Natural Flavor, Organic Pineapple Natural Flavor, Organic Monk Fruit Extract. 5. The baguette. Unlike a refined flour white bread baguette at La Farm Bakery, this one is made of a red wheat flour. Turkey Red flour is an heirloom, organic hard red winter wheat brought to Kansas in 1873 by Mennonite immigrants. Prized for its rich, nutty flavor and superior baking qualities, it is often used for artisan bread, sourdough, and pasta due to its unique, sometimes more digestible, gluten profile. It is commonly stone-ground and available from local Kansas millers. 6. The star of the show was the Everything Croissant. Like the Everything Bagel but soft and buttery. Topped with all the sesame seeds and seasonings with a cream cheese interior. So good! I do plan on returning!

Ok, now that's out of the way I was so stinking excited when someone finally opened a Biggby here!! This location is a tough spot!! Being super familiar with the area, I wasn't put off by the difficult shopping center, but I hope this location is able to thrive despite the stress the physical location may bring. The traffic sucks, the turn in and turn out options to the shopping center suck, and the shopping center isn't the most attractively laid out despite the facelift attempt. But this Biggby location is a shining star in an odd location and they are killing it! The staff are so freaking nice no matter how busy they are. If you've never been to Biggby before, prepare your heart for every flavor combination under the sun. The number of flavor syrups Biggby offers is unreal! They also offer a number of sugar free options and non dairy options. I don't like overly sweet items, so warning if you're like me, ask to have the drink with one less flavor shot of each flavor your drink has. Their regular coffee is absolutely solid option. I'm a little snobby with my coffee sometimes, but I can't complain about their plain coffee. I drink it black, so I can't comment on the sugar or cream options but I'm sure they're just as plentiful as all the other options at Biggby. The only food I've gotten to try so far are the donut holes. No they weren't donut shop quality, but they were perfect with a giant cup of black coffee. The inside is super clean and spacious.
