Getting there soon after they opened, they weren't busy, but it was nice seeing the process of the guy in the back making fresh bagels. Service was EXCELLENT and so friendly!!! The lady who rung me up was helpful, bright, and friendly! My food was made quickly and I left to return to my hotel. When I got to my room and cracked into my food - it was great! Customer service 5 stars! Sara was so friendly and welcoming and gave me some good recommendations since it was my first time there! The place was clean when I went in there they have a wide variety of flavors for bagels and cream cheese spreads. So I went out of my comfort zone and got something I don't normally get and it was a 2.5/5 for me I got the brisket breakfast sandwich with a cheesy hash brown bagel. Honestly, every worker here deserves a raise. Impeccable customer service. Went here today to get a bagel after a dr appointment and every employee I dealt with greeted me with a smile and just so much warmth! It truly made my day. It's the little things and I will continue to support this location. There's ample parking and the bagel itself was so fresh! I got my usual jalapeño cheddar with siracha honey and I tried the cheesy hash brown. The hash brown could have been warmer but now I know for next time! Despite loving local restaurants, every now and then it's fun to hit up a chain. I am kind of obsessed with trying all sorts of chains to be honest. And I had never been to a Bruegger's. That all changed the other day. We were hungry after a morning workout. Not sure what we wanted, we decided on bagels. And it just so happened that Yelp told us Bruegger's was right around the corner. And so we went. First of all, the service was very good. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We had our order in a flash. What I really liked was the amount of options. I opted for a toasted everything bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. I thought it was all well executed. The bagel was that right chewy texture a bagel needs to be. And the cream cheese was a flavor I didn't even know existed. All in all very solid. read more

I like Bruegger's very much. They offer bagels, coffee, sandwiches. All at very affordable prices in a super casual but nice environment. I'm a fan! I am a huge fan of their salt bagels. Now that is not the healthiest choice but they are so tasty! And their coffee is good as well, hot and delicious. It is always a pleasure to come here. I have never tried their sandwiches so I cannot judge their quality. I just really stick to the bagels. I had a horrific experience. I ordered a dozen and a half bagels. The woman waiting on me did not understand what that meant and was upset when she had to recount my bagels. She called me a bitch. Her manager heard it, as did my young son and other customers. The manager said she would deal with it later. The employee Samiah yelled sorry from the entrance of the kitchen. The manager thought this was acceptable and didn't understand why I was upset. I left and will NEVER return! It's sad, but they are all phony. Prior to this the manager asked me to fill out a positive survey for a customer service competition and I did. That same manager would not even make eye contact with me when I asked to speak to her. My husband picked me up an everything bagel with cream cheese, capers, and smoked salmon. We order the same thing at other places, it's kinda our fave----My bagel was delicious! Lots of garlic and onion. The bagel itself was kinda small. They were kinda skimpy on the capers and salmon (in comparison to other bagel shops) The line system is kinda messed up, some guy have my hubs some attitude because he wasn't waiting in the right spot. This is my go to place Monday's through Fridays for coffee and to buy bagels for my kids. The food and staff are all wonderful. I've never had an issue with the staff and the bagels are the closest to NYC bagels in taste. I've also used Bruegger's for catering services when my grandparents passed away. I went inside and let them know exactly what I needed the day before and they had everything prepped and completed, including every bagel pre-sliced. The entire team here is very polite, kind, and always offers a smile. I have gotten to meet the district manager too, Scott is a very nice guy who is also passionate about the bagel business! I would say that the Shelton, CT location has the best employees of any location I've ever seen or been to. Their dedication to cleanliness, food safety (and I always watch), and being extremely personable and efficient is not replicated in any other store, not a one! Tammy is the GM and works her tush off and it shows with the staff she hires. I've been coming here for 4 years now...almost 5 years and I plan on coming for years to come, and this location is completely out of my way! Keep up the great job. My family and I love Bruegger's Bagels. We wish there was one located closer to us so we could go more often. We went up to my in-laws for the holidays and my sons wanted to eat breakfast and lunch here EVERY day this week. Love the bagels. Love the sandwiches. I had a chicken pesto sandwich one day and a barnyard burger another day and both were very good. Service was friendly and quick. Bruegger's is A-OK. No complaints. Let me start by saying this is the first review I've ever left on yelp! The manager is the worst! I go here multiple times per week and she NEVER has been welcoming or polite (not to mention she usually makes my bagel wrong). I cringe when I walk in and see her and pray that I get someone else at the counter. All the other employees are great, otherwise I would never go back. Today was my worst experience with her.
