We grabbed two bagels and did the share-half strategy, which felt both practical and a little genius. The Vermonter leaned sweet, so we saved it for last and treated it like dessert. No regrets there. The Bacon, Avocado & Tomato with whole eggs was the savory star, hearty, satisfying, and exactly what you want before a desert adventure. Service was okay. Nothing unfriendly, just a bit light on attention to detail. Case in point, I ordered a small double shot latte and received something that could hydrate a small village. Their definition of "small" is... ambitious. That said, you're not coming here for precision coffee measurements. You're coming for the bagels, and those delivered. I was hungry on the way to work and called Bruegger's Bagels from the car to order a bagel sandwich. When I arrived it was ready to go, with no line I paid and left in easily under a minute. I had time to eat half before I went into work and it was amazing! We stopped by later one morning to grab a late breakfast. The shop was clean and not busy at all. I ordered a cheese hashbrown bagel with veggie cream cheese and asked for it to be double toasted. My bagel wasn't very toasted at all and I didn't really see much cheese or potato topping. I wasn't a fan of the flavor of the cream cheese when I normally love veggie cream cheese. My other half ordered the brisket sandwich on a hatch chili bagel. He liked his bagel and felt it was pretty filling. Overall I felt like it was just okay. I love bagels. The food there was good. It was the service that could be improved. My family and I walked in, it was busy. We were not greeted, when we were asked what we were going to order they didn't write anything down or take time to actually hear what we wanted. I asked for avocado on my sandwich and repeated myself multiple times because I knew the girl was busy. When we got to the register the girl who had helped us had to yell at the man at the register what we wanted and then I had to stand there and repeat our order to make sure it was correct. I noticed the man rung my sandwich up with two eggs, I said I only wanted one (the price on the sign shows that there is a price difference) the man hastily insisted it was the same price and didn't matter. When my family got to our car after leaving I noticed they didn't add the avocado I had asked for multiple times. It was very disappointing considering I love bagels and we don't get to go that often. The entire experience was very disappointing. They really need to work on a better way of getting the orders. Stopped for a quick breakfast on the way out of town. We ordered: Blueberry w/cream cheese Asiago Parmesan w/cream cheese Plain w/ an egg and Swiss Plain w/ and egg and cheddar Smokehouse Brisket w/egg &cheddar on a Plain bagel First of all, everything was delicious. Bagels are made fresh in house and were perfection. Even our picky kids were happy with breakfast. Portions are generous, one sandwich was almost too much to eat, but they were too good to not finish. Service was FAST. In and out in less than 10 minutes. I will be looking for more of these. I've been to this location a few times. This location is definitely one of the slower - less consistent locations. Coffee is great one time and terrible the next even though you order the same thing. But all in all - good bagels and the when the coffee is good - it's really good. I keep coming back since it's close to my house. read more

The customer service was great except one girl. I was given looks, and when I asked for one moment to decide what the rest of my group wanted she rolled her eyes at me. I finally placed my order and she gave 0 eye contact, had an attitude when asking what kind of bagel and my guest whispered to me saying "I thought you said they were nice here". I had never gone to this Brueggers before but I'm not impressed. Further more, when she served my western brisket bagel cold (I go to a different Bruegger's all the time and have never had it cold before) I brought it back up and said can I please have it warmed up, she gave me a nasty look. I'm not one to post reviews and usually I do not care, but I think if you're in customer service, you should be in customer service and not half a** it! The bagels themselves are delicious, but the service. We got our bagels and asked about whether or not they would have cinnamon sugar bagels coming out anytime soon. They said they would in about 15 minutes, so we decided to stay and eat what we got, and then grab some delicious cinnamon sugar ones to take home. 15 minutes later, we got up and asked and were told they would be out in 12 minutes. Okay, we've been here so long anyways, why not wait a little longer? They then told another customer 5 minutes a little later, so we were reaffirmed in our decision to stay. Finally, 5 minutes later, we got up and asked once again about the bagels. They said that they hadn't started them yet, but they could make some in about 17 minutes. Needless to say, we left without our cinnamon sugar bagels. If you aren't planning on making any bagels, don't arbitrarily give out numbers and make your customers wait for nothing. If they just said they wouldn't have any, we would have left and been fine. This whole experience was dumb and frustrating. read more

Decided to finally write this review after my third instance here. I order two Farmhouse Bagels to go for myself and GF each time I come. In all three cases both bagels had almost zero cream cheese and couldn't be tasted at all. I'm sure margins on bagels/cream cheese are incredibly good. Stopped by with a friend that goes periodically; we wanted a quick on the go breakfast and this place was a solid choice. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and an iced coffee, both of which satisfied pretty much the way a normal bagel and coffee does. My friend goes for their Sriracha Egg Sandwiches. See- one of my taste buds' flaws is that I don't like eggs. I was in today 6/26/23 around 11:15ish with my grandma. We both have the worst FOOD POISONING! So bad I had to call out of work tomorrow! Losing a full day's work over an $11 meal. I ordered a bacon egg & cheese on an asiago bagel, add chipotle mayo. I also ordered a toasted everything bagel with onion and chive cream cheese. My grandma ordered a bacon avocado & tomato on an everything bagel, add chipotle mayo. The items we ate that were the same are as follows: bacon, eggs, everything bagels, and chipotle mayo. We are unsure what item caused our food poisoning but I can tell you for certain it was from this Brueggar's Bagels location. We only ate bagel sandwiches this morning for breakfast, we hadn't had anything before nor since visiting. We went to Costco immediately after Brueggars and we both had an uh-oh moment. We ditched our 2 item filled cart and were in the bathroom for 30+ minutes before we felt comfortable enough leaving the Costco toilet seats to quickly drive home. We have been so sick out of both ends since. DO NOT EAT HERE! So sad because I love Brueggar's Bagels and I'm a frequent flyer but after this experience, I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK! read more

The worst bagel I've ever had. I like and requested the bagel to be toasted hard before adding the toppings. The bagel was not toasted hard even to be considered "toasted " but just warmed. the ingredients were sufficient but it was a messy, mush, soggy requiring lots of napkins and falling apart bc the bread was just soggy. It felt like eating taffy with everything getting stuck to my teeth. That's bc the bagel was warmed again after adding the toppings and the ingredients were gooey. It appears that the employee was more concerned with getting it out quickly than getting it out as I had asked. I did make my request known beforehand. "Toasted" means just that! Not warmed. The other thing is customers are directed to go pay and wait at a seat so if there's a mistake one can't voice it beforehand. Like I would have said no to toasting it again after adding the toppings. I highly recommend good listening and reassuring oneself by asking the customer if it's toasted enough before going ahead and adding the toppings. I don't think it's a good idea to send the customer to pay while they're putting the bagel together. If anything pay first then guide the employee as to how you like it toasted. read more

Love this place!! I've been going here for years! The bagels are always fresh and made daily. My go to order is plain bagel toasted with jalapeño cream cheese and a small coffee. Bruegger's has always been my favorite bagel place in town for the taste and quality of the bagels. This is probably the only reason I will continue to dine here in the future but I gotta say, the service couldn't be more underwhelming. All the employees looked miserable, like they hated their jobs and were the opposite of hospitable. As you can see from the photos, the woman who made my bagel was super sloppy with it and practically slapped the bagel together and called it a day. And look at that cream cheese? The other photo shows some weird orange grease on the paper which is odd because I got a cinnamon sugar bagel. I am sick to my stomach right now. I have spent $8 a day here for the past couple of weeks as I have a new route to work and I'm able to get coffee at Starbucks and breakfast at Bruegger's... I will have to find a new route now. I was ordering my bagels and I look up to see a large cockroach climbing up the bagel rack and across the bagels. The prices for any additions are not posted. Pickles are sometimes come with the order depending on the sandwich but not posted. if they come with the bagel customer doesn't know. They don't tell you what's an up charge until it's time to pay. They didn't tell me but charged me $1.00 per scoop of cream cheese and I had two scoops. I had asked if I could have cream cheese instead of cheddar cheese. Not a word was said about how much if any up charge. I expected one for the extra cream cheese but $2.00 for two scoops? I wouldn't have paid that much for cream cheese. My husband requested a pickle and they said his sandwich didn't come with it yet mine came with it. Neither one was Oates anywhere, even the employee didn't know which sandwich came with pickles but the manager. Then the other thing I noticed was that they don't like it when the customer asks questions if you don't understand the receipt. They take it personal. It's just best to go to another location or elsewhere . My recommendation would be to post the prices for additions and make it clear which sandwiches come with a pickle. Also state that replacing a type of cheese for another type of cheese will be an extra charge. Helpfulness answering any questions a customer has instead of taking viewing it as a personal attack. read more

Employees were young and rude. Didn't welcome me in or acknowledge me at all. I stood there for 5 minutes while they gossiped about other guessed from the day before and it was empty, I was the only customer. I had to interrupt and say excuse me bcuz apparently I was invisible. I was less than 2 feet away from them. My bacon was not cooked properly. They did not have good customer service at all. The older gentleman who gave me my receipt was polite but the two younger employees were very rude and did not know how to communicate or acknowledge the customer. This is the closest bruggers to my house so I come to this location the most . Overall the staff are great and the place is a clean , well oiled machine . The quality however is inconsistent . For the second time my everything bagel has very very little everything seasoning on the bagel . I even took a picture to post because it is such a bummer when you want flavor but end up paying 3.25 for a plain bagel you didn't want . Likewise I used to order the western with jalapeño cream cheese . I stopped because the order had been messed up twice by two different people months apart . I think that if they did a quick quality control and made sure what the customers get is what they want , whether it is a bagel having the proper seasoning or the employees being trained more consistently , I would be more inclined to return and happy to live close to this location . read more

When you want a bagel, it's an ok place to go! I enjoy their rosemary olive oil bagels with the light veggie cream cheese. The annoying part about Bruegger's is the line/ordering system. There's one line and three to four employees standing behind the counter walking around and helping, so you get skipped or asked five times what they can get you. It's confusing but I wouldn't really know how else to improve it unless they did it assembly line style. read more

I like Bruegger's bagels quite a bit and go to the swan/sunrise location regularly. The people there are very nice, but here the orange-haired, obese employee was incredibly surly. No smile, just the epitome of rude. I asked for a dozen bagels, and she seemed put out by my request. I didn't ask for them to be sliced. She just had to put them in a bag. She then proceeds to count our 6 plain and 6 sesame, when I said 7 plain and 6 sesame. So I say, isn't it 7 plain? And she looks at me incredulously and says, "Yeah?!" So I said, I think you only put 6 in there. She rolls her eyes, and starts counting. Then her response to me was "You are correct." And gets another bagel. My question: what's the problem? Is it such an imposition to do your job, and if you don't want to be in the service industry, don't be in the service industry. And if you're wrong, why not apologize instead of acting like I did something wrong? I will not be returning, and my guess is that I'm not the only one towards whom she's copped an attitude. read more
