I was excited to try this new breakfast spot in Murfreesboro, and I was highly disappointed.... My husband and I ordered bagel sandwiches and my son a waffle. The bagel was almost inedible. It was so tough to chew, I only ate half of it before my jaw started hurting me. On top of that the bagel itself was incredibly salty? The waffle I got for my son was so dense. I tried it and it tasted like a sweetened wet dish sponge. Don't think I will be coming back again or recommending joe & dough to anyone I know. read more

This place is a fraud. All the donuts they have are a day old and not fresh. We got several cake donuts that were hard as rocks. When you complained the owner became the soup nazi and told us to never come back and that he was going to sue us for complaining about the food. This one of those places that has hype because they are new but when times goes by they will be exposed for being a fraud with their donuts. The coffee was decent. However I was surprised that they did not offer fresh cream / half&half (unlike every other coffee shop in Murfreesboro). They just have the pre-packaged kind. Most people who like hot coffee, like fresh cream to add to it. I asked if I could use a splash of milk in my coffee instead, and they let me know that I would be charged for it. Pretty easy decision to just go to another coffee shop in the future. read more

OMG!!! So so very good! Everything is fresh, we had a variety of items. This was our first visit and we weren't too sure what to expect as we went in the afternoon. Well, all I can say is we will definitely go back again and again. My husband had their biscuits and gravy, he said "these beat the brakes off Loveless's ". That's a huge compliment. We both had breakfast croissant sandwiches, Awesome, fresh and hot. The variety of baked goods is too good to be true! I had a chocolate filled croissant, oh my it was so fresh and soft, they brush the tops with an apricot glaze to keep them moist, it was the best I've ever had and I've had many. Lol. We also had an iced coffee and a Frappuccino. Both were excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed the food we actually had to buy more baked items to bring home. It was a difficult choice as they have so many options, from doughnuts to muffins to scones oh my! All fresh, nothing kept over from the previous day. Thank you, so nice to know we can get fresh great tasting breakfast items in the afternoon. We need to go back and try some lunch items, which I'm sure will be amazing as well. read more

Food was okay, service okay, but no senior discount and didn't see price of iced tea, 4 of us ordered drinks, and turned out to be 3.99 for ice tea and NO REFILLS. Price for omelet and panini were a little high. Won't go back. read more

Drove past this place a few weeks back and the kids wanted to try out this place. We were all excited to come here for breakfast; only to be dissatisfied. One person wasn't disappointed out of the four of us; which was a 7 year who doesn't know the difference between a good donut or decent or bad. Sugar is sugar and he likes it. Not the best place for both donuts or coffee but not the worst neither. As for family this will be the first and last visit. Coffee isn't the best nor the worst right in between truck stop and mediocre coffee. Not similar to Starbucks as other reviewers mentioned. We have tried a variety of donuts: maple bacon-we agreed it just taste smoky, kids said it tasted like a burger patty, Boston crème-white frosting was dry and filling was too sweet, Bavarian crème- doughnut was okay, the crème wasn't good-expected a semi sweet smooth crème but this one we had was a semi scrambled egg texture and had an awkward taste, the chocolate glazed was okay, next was the cream cheese vanilla croissant that too wasn't the best, and lastly the last two we tried were the olds fashioned & glaze donuts which were the only decent ones of all this half dozen. We will continue to go back to another local place for donuts. Shop needs a little wipe down. Need work on the ambiance of the place to make it an experience. Improving on the menu items or the cup of joe or the dough they are portraying to sell. To be fair with this place they have some positives which their interior and shop concept it's great; up to date with a modern style interior. They have a drive through for convenience. The shop space for dining in is plenty. And management seem to have things under control. A little bit more of tweaking this place can bring in more business and have an increase number of local customers easily with a great location in their hands. read more

Good and fresh food, My omelette was fresh and made to perfection, The donuts were soft and fresh as well. Definitely a hit for me

The inside is cute, but the staff seems completely confused. I ordered something on their seasonal board, (a kolache) and neither of the girls ringing us up knew what we were talking about. We described it, spelled it for them, and they stared at us like they'd never heard of it. They finally went to ask a manager and then we were told they were just starting to make them and would be 25-30 minutes even though the board said they were available all day. We ended up going through the drive through and getting a custom sandwich, and when we pulled away after 15+ minutes, I opened the bag to find an everything bagel with cream cheese. I assume they gave us someone else's order. An everything bagel is my go-to, so I ate it and it was fine, but not worth the money I had spent to get an egg sandwich. Honestly, I'll just go to Brasshorn in downtown Murfreesboro. Much less stressful and more knowledgeable staff! read more

Amazing food. The panini was so good. The sugar doughnut was probably the best doughnut I've had.

Breakfast, lunch or just a quick cup of coffee, great food, nice people. Love the cherry fritters! Good omelets.

I went for lunch with some friends and got the Masala omelet, very good if you like peppers, onions and mushrooms. The cold brew was good as well. I will be back!! read more

I wanted to give this place a second chance as my first experience wasn't anything great. I placed an online order ( which charges a pick up fee and you are forced to leave a tip). I drove across town to pick up in the drive-thru. I was told they could not find my order. Ok, sometimes technology isn't great, I asked for a refund. I was told I would have to wait until Monday ( this was a Saturday) so they could call their support line to find out how to do a refund! I leave, drive back across town, swing through a drive thru, and on the way home I get a phone call that my order is now ready for pick up. I inform the caller I no longer want the order as I am too far away at this point to go back, but I still need my money refunded. This time I'm told "sure no problem, I can do that"....so you learned to do a refund all of a sudden? I'm all for supporting local/small businesses, but they should know how to run the business effectively. Perhaps they aren't ready for online /drive -thru ordering yet. Get the basics of customer service mastered first then expand. I know now to not waste my time/money with this establishment. read more
