First time visiting Paris Baguette, not impressed. We found the restaurant very congested while trying to pick out pastries. The worker filling the items kept getting in our way every time we were trying to decide on an item. The area was really narrow trying to see the items The prices were very high! A croissant wrapped hot dog should not be over five dollars at the most! I would say the variety of items were many and they had plenty of seating and the restaurant seemed clean. We just couldn't get passed the narrow isle and with the worker in our way everytime we went to case was a turn off. We ended up leaving after getting frustrated dealing with all of the nonsense. It took the fun out of having a sweet treat. I can only hope the owners take these reviews and make some changes. read more

Cutest little place to grab a pastry before shopping. In addition to pastries, they offer delicious cakes, sandwiches, and desserts. Parking is plentiful as it is located in The Avenue. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and there are tables inside to sit down and enjoy your food. It's nice to have them open here. I came a few hours after having lunch, and it wasn't too busy. There were plenty of items to choose from. You pretty much walk in and just grab a tray and a tong to grab the items you want. I tried a couple of different items from here. My favorite thing here was their strawberry cake. I like that it's a sponge cake. It was made perfectly. It was light and airy, just how I like my cakes. Their cookies and brownies were pretty soft, too. Wow! What an interesting concept. My grandparents are obsessed with stopping by here for a quick and easy lunch. I had a lot of fun looking around at all the pastries. It's pretty much buffet style. You grab a tray and pick out what you want, then bring it to the front to check out. Other than pastries, they have a selection of sandwiches and coffee. I grabbed a hot dog pastry situation, which they heated up at the front and was really good. I would for sure get that again for lunch. One of the reasons I love this concept so much, especially for Americans, is because it gives everybody the opportunity to try new things. I wouldn't know what a lot of these things are called to order them or ask for them at a traditional store or bakery. Wow! Finally good cream puffs in TN! Stopped in on a weekend and it was busy but we snagged a seat. Staff is nice but some seemed fairly new. My husband ordered a coffee and never was rung up so we didn't get it. However the items we got were good. Latte with almond milk was delicious. We did asked for a hot one but some how an Iced one was rung up. ‍‍ They have amazing pain de chocolat and regular croissants. Chocolate was delicious and croissants were buttery and flakey. Came the day after this location opened and, like everyone else has been mentioning, they were out of a lot of food items! Maybe they weren't expecting the place to be so packed but I feel they could have been better prepared for a grand opening. It's very underwhelming to walk in and see basically no items available other than the cakes and cake slices they have available in the case up front. My husband and I were able to get a couple items and honestly they were all quite delicious! I got the ham and cheese croissant and the fruit pastry. My husband got the four cheese quiche and then we both shared the fruit tart. We both selected cake slices too, I tried the cookie butter cake and my husband got the soufflé cheesecake. Everything was very tasty except the soufflé cheesecake my husband got, it tasted like a crumbly cake with very little flavor. Hopefully they can keep up with the crowds coming in! I'm sure eventually the hype will die down and they'll have better stock of their items. But for now I assume the place will be empty of pastries unless you come right when they open. read more

So glad Paris baguettes has opened close to home. This franchise has been well known and I usually visit Paris baguettes when I'm out of state. I felt like the pastries I picked were not good. My mochi donut tasted like a pot of grease. The consistency just wasn't fluffy. It felt like the donut soaked all the grease and held onto it. The almond croissant was too dried for my liking. For drinks I picked the cookie butter macchiato. I didn't feel like it was any special then a regular coffee. For the first time visiting this brand new location. Now that I've visited twice since they opened I can say I'm so happy Paris baguette is in town! They're located at the Avenue just two doors down from Bar Louie. Get there early because the good stuff flies off the shelves. They make sure to replenish often throughout the day too. This is an elevated bakery so expect a higher price tag than your neighborhood bakery. They serve lots of pastries, cakes, loafs of bread and several coffee options. Paris Baguette just opened here in Murfreesboro, and I'm glad to see a bakery like this in town! They have a huge selection of pastries and breads. Everything from fluffy milk bread to beautiful fruit pastries. My personal favorites were the cream puff and strawberry croissant both fresh, light, and not overly sweet. It was very busy when I went, with a long line and a bit of crowding inside. Be ready to bump into people or feel a little rushed, since the space can get tight and some folks might try to squeeze ahead. Despite the chaos, the staff handled things pretty well, and the food made up for it. The matcha latte was just okay, not bad, but not particularly memorable. I'll probably come back on a slower day to enjoy the atmosphere (and maybe try more pastries) without feeling rushed. Overall, a decent visit with great pastries. I've tried different pastries and they're all good to me! Their coffee is very mid, I do not care for their lattes, macchiato's, any of their signature coffees as I've tried many and they're just a huge disappointment. We used to drive all the way to Atlanta just to get to Paris baguette, now we have one here in Murfreesboro yay! The people on the inside aren't always the friendliest but the ones who are friendly really make it worth going there, I feel like some young people don't care about professionalism and customer service and it really shows unfortunately and I hate that for them because I love Paris baguette. A friend of mine is a real foodie. I would not say she is a fuss-pot but she knows what she likes and has a sophisticated palette. Since I was in the area and she recommended it, I just had to stop in and I was glad I did. Picking up three different pastries for my family to try, I was hoping that we could each taste a bit of each between the three of us. Nope. My wife, who is very weight conscious, grabbed the cherry and Greek yogurt offering a proclaimed it very good. My adult son grabbed the mochi do-nut and had equal praise. Since he is a Japophile, he called it by another name. I had the "Cream" do-nut. and it was a surprise. Usually these are filled with a filling like a Boston Cream Pie. My wife said that this was pastry cream and it was better. I was very big and had lots of filling evenly distributed inside. Each pastry was put in its own bag. Service had some good points and some things I did not like. The young lady who cashed me out was very friendly which made me want to go back. However, if you are just getting pastry, you have to wait in a long line behind those ordering coffee. A pastry only line would be nice. Because it is new, it obviously was very clean. Modern in decor, it was bright. Obviously posted directions were very clear on how to get a tray and collect your selections. Oh, and they put your purchases in a very nice bag with handles - no cheap plastic t-shirt bag. I did not go during an hour that would be typically busy, but I did have issues negotiating the aisles. They are narrow to the point that if two people ahead of you were deciding on their selections, you had to wait. I also had to dodge employees restocking the shelves. Selections were quite daunting because of all the different items available. To select my samplings, I had to circle the place twice to decide. Signage would help. Prices were high, but not considering the quality and other upscale do-nut offerings here in the 'Boro. While it is a bit out of my way, it will be worth the extra mile and navigation through the road construction. I'll be back and recommend it. read more

For what I had, it was just ok. Disappointed with one item and just ok with the other but honestly, I only tried 2 things. My Granddaughter praised it which is the only reason I went. It was busy so maybe I chose the wrong products. I had some kind of sausage thing wrapped up in some kind of baked dough with cheese on top and it was awful. I don't know what it was called. I also had an apple/cinnamon pastry which was just ok. Like I said. It may have just been what I ordered. Between me and my Granddaughter, I spent $28 which I thought was expensive. Went in there lunch time, there are only 20 seats in there, some at a counter looking out but was too hot. Seats out side are metal benches which would have been very hot Used a coupon which ended up not ringing up right and was overcharged about a dollar, did not notice until later. Of course, then a screen comes up for tip with first option being 30%- surprising consider you help yourself to most things and have to wait and be called up to get your drink and bus your own table. BUT young man helping me was great!!! Pastries all look good but very overpriced, $3.50 for a small to medium crueller donut. $5 with tax for almond croissant. I used buy one cake slice get 1 free and got chocolate gnache- would have normally been $8 with tax. Was nothing spectacular. Huge chocolate cake at costco is way betters and 80% cheaper. Whoever was making the five dollar lattes on Sunday afternoon today needs to be taught how to make a coffee drink. We purchased a couple of lattes and we were given five dollar bad drinks. Half of the latte was all foam that is not a latte, foam is not in a latte it's more a cappuccino. Lattes are steamed milk hopefully with latte art but of course we did not get that. The coffee quality was not anything other than basic coffee I can get anywhere else so I was not happy with wasting five dollars for a latte that wasn't a latte that wasn't even good coffee. The employee working Sunday at 2 pm needs to be retrained this should be a priority otherwise I will keep calling you out on it till you get it right. No excuses for 5 dollar coffee thats not right. On the upside, the croissants were good. They had a buttery flavor as they should and the donuts even though they're five dollars in Murfreesboro in Tennessee you would never believe that 4 years ago, but they were nicely filled with cream.
