    Chocolate Cake

Cutest little place to grab a pastry before shopping. In addition to pastries, they offer delicious cakes, sandwiches, and desserts. Parking is plentiful as it is located in The Avenue. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and there are tables inside to sit down and enjoy your food. The cakes were beautiful and the pastries and desserts were not just the ordinary typical selection. Definitely worth checking out! Great addition to the Boro.

Such a great place. Almost seems like a pastry cafeteria 2.0! Not many things you can't find! The service was great! My cold brew was super strong and they happily put more syrup in it. They were constantly refilling each tray of food, none were empty. It was a busy day as the Milkshake shop opened but still busy but a great place for Saturday brunch.

It's nice to have them open here. I came a few hours after having lunch, and it wasn't too busy. There were plenty of items to choose from. You pretty much walk in and just grab a tray and a tong to grab the items you want. I tried a couple of different items from here. My favorite thing here was their strawberry cake. I like that it's a sponge cake. It was made perfectly. It was light and airy, just how I like my cakes. Their cookies and brownies were pretty soft, too. I liked how it wasn't hard like I've had at some other places. In all, I had a pretty good experience here. It looked really nice and clean.

Wow! What an interesting concept. My grandparents are obsessed with stopping by here for a quick and easy lunch. I had a lot of fun looking around at all the pastries. It's pretty much buffet style. You grab a tray and pick out what you want, then bring it to the front to check out. Other than pastries, they have a selection of sandwiches and coffee. I grabbed a hot dog pastry situation, which they heated up at the front and was really good. I would for sure get that again for lunch. One of the reasons I love this concept so much, especially for Americans, is because it gives everybody the opportunity to try new things. I wouldn't know what a lot of these things are called to order them or ask for them at a traditional store or bakery. This gives you the opportunity to try out anything, without the pressure of ordering. It was pretty packed on the day we stopped by.

Wow! Finally good cream puffs in TN! Stopped in on a weekend and it was busy but we snagged a seat. Staff is nice but some seemed fairly new. My husband ordered a coffee and never was rung up so we didn't get it. However the items we got were good. Latte with almond milk was delicious. We did asked for a hot one but some how an Iced one was rung up. ‍‍ They have amazing pain de chocolat and regular croissants. Chocolate was delicious and croissants were buttery and flakey. Cream puffs are outstanding and really filled nicely. Hope they get other fillings for cream puffs. Good prices and really fresh pastries. Wish they had more seating and that it was larger inside because the getting items in a tray and ordering felt very cramped.

Came the day after this location opened and, like everyone else has been mentioning, they were out of a lot of food items! Maybe they weren't expecting the place to be so packed but I feel they could have been better prepared for a grand opening. It's very underwhelming to walk in and see basically no items available other than the cakes and cake slices they have available in the case up front. My husband and I were able to get a couple items and honestly they were all quite delicious! I got the ham and cheese croissant and the fruit pastry. My husband got the four cheese quiche and then we both shared the fruit tart. We both selected cake slices too, I tried the cookie butter cake and my husband got the soufflé cheesecake. Everything was very tasty except the soufflé cheesecake my husband got, it tasted like a crumbly cake with very little flavor. Hopefully they can keep up with the crowds coming in! I'm sure eventually the hype will die down and they'll have better stock of their items. But for now I assume the place will be empty of pastries unless you come right when they open.

So glad Paris baguettes has opened close to home. This franchise has been well known and I usually visit Paris baguettes when I'm out of state. I felt like the pastries I picked were not good. My mochi donut tasted like a pot of grease. The consistency just wasn't fluffy. It felt like the donut soaked all the grease and held onto it. The almond croissant was too dried for my liking. For drinks I picked the cookie butter macchiato. I didn't feel like it was any special then a regular coffee. For the first time visiting this brand new location. I would give it another chance trying something different.

Now that I've visited twice since they opened I can say I'm so happy Paris baguette is in town! They're located at the Avenue just two doors down from Bar Louie. Get there early because the good stuff flies off the shelves. They make sure to replenish often throughout the day too. This is an elevated bakery so expect a higher price tag than your neighborhood bakery. They serve lots of pastries, cakes, loafs of bread and several coffee options. Service has been good and consistent. They do have some tables and outside seating. I've tried different things each time and I've been pleased with everything.

Paris Baguette just opened here in Murfreesboro, and I'm glad to see a bakery like this in town! They have a huge selection of pastries and breads. Everything from fluffy milk bread to beautiful fruit pastries. My personal favorites were the cream puff and strawberry croissant both fresh, light, and not overly sweet. It was very busy when I went, with a long line and a bit of crowding inside. Be ready to bump into people or feel a little rushed, since the space can get tight and some folks might try to squeeze ahead. Despite the chaos, the staff handled things pretty well, and the food made up for it. The matcha latte was just okay, not bad, but not particularly memorable. I'll probably come back on a slower day to enjoy the atmosphere (and maybe try more pastries) without feeling rushed. Overall, a decent visit with great pastries. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you go when it's less crowded!

I've been meaning to post a review for a while now. I've been here well over 10 times since they have opened. It's a very dangerous place considering it's only 5 mins away from me. I've tried different pastries and they're all good to me! Their coffee is very mid, I do not care for their lattes, macchiato's, any of their signature coffees as I've tried many and they're just a huge disappointment. I have to say their Korean milk coffee is probably the better one out of all I tried. Just a little watered down sometimes. The service here is fine! Never had an issue.

Treat yourself to a sweet indulgence at this newly opened bakery, blending French and Asian inspirations. It's the perfect spot for breakfast or lunch. The first of its kind in town and I couldn't be happier to have them here.

Paris baguette is always going to be a five-star service and experience and food for me. We used to drive all the way to Atlanta just to get to Paris baguette, now we have one here in Murfreesboro yay! The people on the inside aren't always the friendliest but the ones who are friendly really make it worth going there, I feel like some young people don't care about professionalism and customer service and it really shows unfortunately and I hate that for them because I love Paris baguette. The ambiance is always great It's always clean always stocked, I just don't think that people in this area understand the etiquette of getting through Paris baguette instead of being all over the bakery, get what you need and move on for others to make way. No matter what, all the food is ALWAYS FANTASTIC!

This place has been on my list for several months now so I stopped at the Buona in Murfreesboro on…read morethe way home from Cookeville. To give them a fair shake at a comparison to Chicago, I ordered two iconic Chicago staples, an Italian Beef and a Chicago Dog. First the beef, I ordered it with hot giardiniera and dipped. The beef was tender, flavorful and the peppers packed a pleasant heat. The bread was sturdy had a good flavor as well. Considering we are outside of Chicago, I'd go 4.5 stars. The Chicago dog looked and tasted legit complete with the neon green relish. For the dog I'd also go 4.5 stars. Seems like Murfreesboro might be sleeping on this great spot cause I was there at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and it wasn't packed. Highly recommend this spot when you are in the Boro to get your Chicago fix, it deserves our support!

Be prepared to read a magazine article length review of this establishment. Usually I do not review…read morechain or franchise restaurants, but this was so good, I made an exception. I was intrigued by a mail brochure, then their video. I like the place VERY much. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I reserve those for Italian restaurants with table cloths, vino, attentive waiters and opera playing in the back ground. It is based on FOUR visits because I liked it so much and did not want to give an incomplete review. First will be a detailed list of the dishes we tried and then I will get o ambiance and service at the very end. Here goes the food review first. Chicago Hot Dog. I'm not from Chicago and only know the signature food by reputation but my wife and I were impressed. The bun was very good with the poppy seed on the outside. Holding its own was a nice hot dog through the additional dressings. I ordered mine with the hot gardenia. It was delicious but instead of a vinegar base, it was a nice olive oil. French Fries Our family recognizes my wife as our resident expert on quality fries. She rated these as among the best she has ever eaten. I agreed with her that that they were crispy outside and fluffy inside. She added comments that they held up on the plate as she ate. Being crinkle cut, those fries tend to get soggy, but these retained their crispness through out. Chicago Beef Visiting their website you will see how they prepare their beef for meal. My wife indicated that it was fairly standard, but I drew me in. Admittedly, I have only tried a few of this type of sandwich. The things I liked about it was that it was juicy without soaking the roll and plate. It also had a nice flavor. Pasta On the wall in the store is a sign advertising that the pasta is fresh, never dried and that peaked my interest. Signature Rigatoni Marinara was the menu Item I chose and felt like it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever enjoyed. Thin, long pastas are classified by a number indicating their thickness. I could not find such a classification for rigatoni. While I may be a bit of an engineer, I studied the wall thickness of this pasta. Compared to what I buy in the grocery store, this had a thicker wall. It is important because the pasta was cooked al dente. The mouth feel of the thicker pasta and feel to the tooth was great. Do not feel I am discounting the sauce, but it was one of the best I think southern Italy would offer. Brownie On a whim, I grabbed a brownie because my wife did not want to stop at a candy store for me to get chocolate to go with my bourbon at home. It was light in texture, but incredibly full of quality chocolate flavor. It was great taste for taste, sip for sip. Beef and Gardenia Pizza Our fourth visit to justify my rating was with my wife, adult son and I. Surprisingly, she ordered the pizza choice because it was unique, Neither of us had gardenia on a pizza. Their Tavern Pizza is 10" and cut checkerboard style, not wedges, which was fine by us. The one pizza was enough for my wife and I. We both agreed that the Marinara sauce was the same as on the pasta. The pie was loaded with toppings. In fact, it was hard to get a true taste of the crust. It was also so loaded that she commented that it was a good thing we ate in the dining room instead of taking it home. If we took it home, she suggested, the copious toppings would totally soak the crust. Gardenia served here is in olive oil, not vinegar. As such, it gave a nice flavor to the pie. I thought my wife ordered extra cheese, but, no. That thick blanket is standard. The blend of toppings was just wonderful and the gardenia was just spicy enough. Margherita Pizza All pizza restaurants are judged by their Margherita pizza as far as my son goes. This pie was not traditional, so he simply gave it a "good" evaluation. He would rather get this pizza at other restaurants, but if he came back here, he would order it. Among his comments were that normally tomato slices were on the pizza, but this one had the diced tomatoes in this. Also, all the basil, while tasty was just piled up in the center instead of strewn all over the top. Now for service and ambiance. Of my trips, I was there a few times shortly after they opened for the day and once during a very busy time. Both times, the meal came out in a timely basis and the meals very fresh. On one trip, I ordered beer. The counter person was underage, and left to find a manager to complete the order. She was not clear in diction and we did not know why she left, but it was O Being new, it was very clean. Ambiance is very bright and well lit. Large windows give a good view of the area. Promotional signs and posters are informative and appropriate.
