I've been meaning to go here for a while since I live in Ahwatukee. Finally got the chance to go and I would definitely recommend going. When we walked, there were tons of people waiting. You can save a little time by getting on the wait list. Once we got there, I checked in. Even though I was on the wait list and checked in, it did take another half hour or so to get sat. Once we got sat, we ordered two drinks. Then when the server came back, she took our food order. She did give us the heads up that the kicker was taking longer. They were super busy and it was nice that she relayed that message. She made great recommendations for drinks, food and flavors. I found that the stuff she liked were great in my opinion ( mudslide was her favorite drink and she recommended prickly pear as a mimosa flavor) The food did take a while to come out but the server was up front so we were good. We did end up ordering a few more drinks. The food came and I got the crazy clucker. It was really good but it's heavy and a decent amount of food. I finished about half but was very happy with what I ordered. Overall, the drinks were great, food was great and our server was knowledgeable and had great recommendations. I clearly did not have the same experience it appears others have had at brunch snob. We've attempted to go once or twice in the past and there was a long wait, for some reason, so we've moved on to other restaurants. In hindsight, it's very good that we did. Wish we had moved on this time as well. Went today for the first time. There were four of us. And ultimately nothing was great, nothing. The place is decorated with a modern feel, which may draw people who are there for decoration, it's kind of modern and feels "neighborhood-y". But, even though it was only half full, it was exceptionally loud. All hard surfaces reflecting every sound, very loud. The menu is vast and everything looks great, but the four dishes I tasted were mediocre, at best. I had the bourbon stack. Meh. The pancakes were good, the smoked pork was bland and nondescript, the two eggs were fair, a bit undercooked, hard to screw up eggs. The hashbrowns were in the top two of the worst I've ever had, over cooked, flavorless, not good. Anyone who knows me, knows I rarely, if ever say that food is "not good". These hashbrowns were, not good. I asked for a side of the sauce they put on their home fried potatoes, it was inedible, disgusting. My wife said she's never heard me say that about food before, it's true.. My wife got the smoked salmon breakfast quesadilla, it was OK, nothing to write home about. Salmon in a tortilla that was browned. Nothing spectacular. Another dish was the brisket tacos. Ordered by someone who, like me, loves brisket and was really excited about them. Their response was "they are OK." totally lackluster, not a good sign. Overall, they also were not great or even worth trying a second time. Overall, the menu looks very impressive and sounds like the meals should be great, but that was not the case. This place is expensive, certainly for mediocre food, service and atmosphere that we got. If the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent, it might justify the price. But nothing was excellent, not even great, bordered on being good. Their website says "BS" in big letters, it also says "great food, no bullshit." I wonder if this place is popular because it seems aggressive and "real like that". I think the letters and the tagline speak for themselves, it is BS that there is great food and no bullshit at Brunch Snob. i'm not impressed with businesses that try to use aggressive tag lines and vulgar language to show some kind of strength or personality, except a bad personality, not impressed at all. The food, atmosphere and service is what matter in a restaurant, and this place had none, regardless of the inappropriate tagline, not impressed. I came here on labor day since I had the day off and it was a nice treat. We arrived here fairly early but got full so quickly and so loud. I enjoyed my breakfast I ordered the big snob. The food was just ok. I ordered the corned beef hash and it wasn't very good. Very mushy. The toast was burnt so they redid it, and it was still over cooked. The hash browns were greasy. The ambiance was not very comfortable for breakfast. At 7:20 am the pop music was very loud and the solar window blinds were closed so it was very dark inside. I asked if I could have the one closest to me open but was told that the owners wouldn't allow the servers to adjust the blinds. I would recommend they turn the music up gradually as the day goes on and crowd size grows. There were only 3 of us in the entire restaurant. I will definitely not come back for breakfast as I appreciate a nice, quiet place for breakfast. read more

Fantastic little find! This location, which is very convenient in Ahwatukee next to Safeway and right near the I-10 Elliot exit, use to be a couple different places. I think it's finally found it's permanent restaurant. We got here around 8:30am on a Saturday and luckily there was no wait, however, by 9:00 it was starting to get a little busy. If you're an early bird, you're in! If not, it's totally worth the wait though I do think they have a waitlist option on their website. The coffee, which I'm particular, is really rich, tasty and smooth with depth. The menu offers many unusual items that you don't see other places. IE: smoked salmon breakfast quesadilla, smoked brisket burrito, Cajun shrimp and grits benny, etc etc. Amazing!!! The food we ordered was delicious, the crazy clucker and a choice omelette. The atmosphere is simple, clean and comfy. I believe one of the owners came by and had an A+ personality. She was funny and easy to joke with. Awesome service as well.
