    Shrimp Aspargi
    Marissa M.

Wow this pasta was reaaaaaally really good! I got the shrimp aspargi - shrimp and asparagus in a blush sauce - it was some of the best pasta I have had in a while. I would definitely come back here for this same dish! Very large portions, good prices too! Service was okay. Ambiance is okay. But the food was amazing!!!! I'll definitely be back to try more!

I was here recently for a friend's birthday. I ordered the Buffalo Mac-N-Cheese. It was fantastic! It came with a choice of soup or salad. I ordered the manhattan clam chowder soup. It was really good. That was the best part of the experience and why I would return. The service wasn't great at all. I know they were busy but after my last friend showed up, it took the server 15 minutes to come back and get her drink order and then another 25 to ask us what we wanted to eat. She acted like she was waiting on us but we had known what we wanted for quite some time. People who had gotten there well after us had their food before we did. The server mixed up my drink and my friend's drink. The server was apologetic at one point and I said it was okay but I didn't want to be constantly ignored, like our party wasn't as important as any other table. Another server brought our separate checks but had added an 18% gratuity to each one. I had never had an automatic gratuity added, when all six of us were there. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant had a nice look and the bathrooms were nice. I wouldn't mind returning because the food was fantastic.

Stopped last Thursday for their wing night. They have lots of flavors and are doing a great job to not use seed oils in their cooking which is extremely rare to find due to their increased costs. The staff was great! Looking forward to going back and trying some other wing flavors and their pasta.

My girlfriend and I recently dined at Bruno's for the first time and wanted to share our experience. I feel Bruno's a great addition to the Lancaster community. We visited on a Saturday night around 6 PM. Reservations are available on their website, but we took our chances with a walk-in. The wait for a 2-top was about 20 minutes. The atmosphere was lively, but not super noisy. There were families dining, as well as couples, and several small groups either celebrating an occasion or watching college football at the bar. Our server Paige was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Bruno's owner is a registered dietician and has made thoughtful choices throughout the menu, including organic greens, seed-free oils, and even organic wines. Even with these health conscious choices, the prices were still quite reasonable and the food quality was excellent. We started with a couple appetizers - the garlic bites (served with a tasty homemade marinara) and the mussels diablo. Both were excellent. We were frankly surprised by the generous portion size of each appetizer. The mussels diablo in particular were a standout. The sauce lived up to its name - indeed quite spicy, but was not overpowering. The punch of heat was well balanced with savory notes of garlic and spices. The menu said the order was 1 lb, but it felt like we got more than that. For entrees, I got the Chicken Ali-Oli and my companion got the Rigatoni with red sauce. All of the pastas are homemade and they even offer a gluten-free option made in-house. The Chicken dish was quite good, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The flavors of chicken, broccoli, garlic, and cheese were all prevalent and balanced. I would say that perhaps it lacked a "wow" factor, but was a solid dish all around. My girlfriend raved about the rigatoni. The homemade pasta was delicately prepared and served with a sauce that was sweet but also carried a zesty zing. We were far too full for desserts and had to box up some of our meal. (Each entree also comes with a choice of soup or salad and complimentary bread service). As Lancaster residents, we regretted not coming to Bruno's sooner and plan to return soon. I highly recommend a visit!

Interesting vibe. Some people on date nights, some business people. Most people dressed in business…read morecasual. The bar is huge and was busy on this Monday night. The menu has high- end prices but we were not impressed with details. The flatware is cheap and the servers do not place flatware where it belongs when they replace it (training details). The room we were in became really dark after the sun set. When we requested pepper on our salads, Instead of fresh grated pepper, a pepper Shaker was brought to our table (cheesy!). The food was good, service was ok, but for these prices, I expect details to be looked at. That's what separates the excellent restaurants from the good ones. There are so many excellent restaurants in Buffalo, I don't know that we will rush back. It was a good meal and experience, just not great. If I could give a 3.5, thats where this review would land in

While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I had a very nice "Old Fashioned". We started with two dozen oysters. We received a couple of bad ones and they were promptly replaced with four new ones. I had the NY Strip and asked for "medium rare". The steak arrived and was perfectly cooked and had a very nice char on it. The steak was very flavorful and juicy. Service was impeccable. The restaurant was laid out nicely and there was plenty of space for our large group. Overall, I would say Giancarlo's will be a must visit, for when I'm in Buffalo.

When I first heard that new owners had taken over my favorite brunch spot Providence Social I was skeptical!! So I got off early from work and decided to pop by just grab something quick. I got brussel sprout gratin and 2 amazing drinks ...sorry I don't remember the names but i promise you both amazing !! Since i've gone mutiple times and each time the food is always perfect. The head chef is such a creative !!! His attention to detail makes every dish look picturesque and the layering of flavors I promise you will enjoy. Might I also add the chef usually is out and about sometimes bringing out orders. Such a nice guy!! Overall, Roseland's Atlas is definetly my go to spot right now. I've even taken my picky little sister who likes nothing and she had to admit she loved everything. Her favorite was the Lion's Mane Cake which they rotate so every new menu. Oh and the Pear Old Fashion and the Brown Butter cake with white chocolate and pineapples!!!! Omg !!!! Please just get there asap, lol!!!

The dishes are lacking...seasoning, depth, that certain something that makes the value. My cheeseburger was overwhelmed by the bun, the cheese was, IDK, was there even cheese? The beef was dry, like there was not a drop of fat in it. Thankfully the crispy fingerling potatoes took up the slack. My companion ordered the carbonara, and it was a funky grey color. Also the sauce was thin and flavorless. I couldn't put my taste buds on what was wrong with it until the next day. I finally realized there was no egg on the dish. Drinks were fine, service was excellent.
