Went here in 6/10 at 4pm and were seated immediately and the restaurant was empty. My wife ini ordered salads and our friend soup, which was served in about 10 minutes and were good. The issue is it took over an hour to get an order of fettuccini alfredo, spaghetti & meatballs and brioscotti, which was like a breakfast bowl. Food was decent, although my Alfredo was a bit soupy. The portion size was good as was the flavor. Again the issue was the over an hour we needed to wait for our meals. When we asked the server who was basically non existent, she said it takes longer to make authentic food. Made us chuckle as it must take longer at the restaurant to cook pasta noodles and pour sauce than any other Italian restaurant we've patronized in our lives. The comment was actually a bit sarcastic and she should have apologized and let us know she would check on our order. Our bill came to about $95 without tip. Getting too expensive to go out for food when the service is not good and food is not great. Not certain if we'll be back anytime soon.

First time at Italian Village. Ordered tripe chicken parm, Ang calamari appetizer. Tripe was good, large portions, not a lot of tripe mostly onions and peppers. Calamari was just ok , chicken parmigiana was very good.

A solid five stars for the Italian Village on Transit Road in Depew. The food was absolutely excellent today for lunch. John Balconi of blessed memory, understood hospitality and Italian cuisine. His son of the same name is following in his tradition, and today was an absolutely splendid demonstration of true dining excellence. Their stuffed hot banana peppers are among the top I have had anywhere. The dipping oil for the bread they bring to the table is absolutely marvelous. The tomato sauce is complex, yet balanced, and goes beautifully with their generous portion of pasta. Service was a bit slow, but the food was so good, I give them a pass. The ambience of this restaurant is perfect for a business lunch or a romantic dinner. I need to come back here more often.

We had picked this place 3 weeks earlier because it was a family restaurant! Everything was superb, fantastic, excellent, were all words to describe the service and food. Jennifer was our server and our first trip to Buffalo she took a little time to tell us some hot spots. This was a great choice by us. We had a 15 minute wait to be seated, but a Saturday night I call that a win also. I only took a picture of my plate which they practically had to carry me out of there I was so full. Also on your way out stop by the picture take thing. That was cool, it gives me a memory and sends it to my phone, attached also. Thanks to the Italian Village, our vacation started out great because of you guys.

My partner is from Buffalo and when we visited, he and his grandparents demanded we check them out! You can tell that it's been here for forever and hasn't changed much. But obviously, there's a reason for that- everything is fantastic. Every single thing we tried was so tasty and their bread is too! Stop by and try this great place!

We haven't been here in a long time and had a big group, they gave us this side room which was awesome more personable and we could all speak freely. Our waitress was a part of the family and she was amazing! Food service everything was top notch!

Are their lunch pasta meals the same size as their dinner meals?

Slightly smaller portion of pasta but still huge.

While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I had a very nice "Old Fashioned". We started with two dozen oysters. We received a couple of bad ones and they were promptly replaced with four new ones. I had the NY Strip and asked for "medium rare". The steak arrived and was perfectly cooked and had a very nice char on it. The steak was very flavorful and juicy. Service was impeccable. The restaurant was laid out nicely and there was plenty of space for our large group. Overall, I would say Giancarlo's will be a must visit, for when I'm in Buffalo.

The bartenders were all friendly, but Tom was particularly helpful. Checking to mate sure that everything was good and offering suggestions. I ordered steak in au gratin potatoes. He brought me cheese bread that was phenomenal. It was served with butter and some sort of sauce that I didn't try. I got a new york strip that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were shredded potatoes. They were okay but definitely not what I would have expected at a steakehouse. I would not order them again. They had carrot cake available for dessert and it was delicious.

The homemade pasta was outstanding, especially the rich, flavorful Bolognese. The garlic cheese bread was to die for, and the chicken parmesan was perfectly prepared. For dessert, we enjoyed cannoli, tiramisu, and the flourless chocolate almond cake topped with raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries. Every bite was incredible. We also tried their featured Sauvignon Blanc and house-made sangria, both of which were excellent. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a special celebration. What made the evening more memorable was the thoughtful service. The staff recognized my birthday and surprised me with a complimentary glass of champagne and tiramisu, which was such a kind and unexpected touch. From the amazing food to the exceptional hospitality, Roseland Atlas made my birthday truly special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a wonderful dining experience We will definately be back!

The dishes are lacking...seasoning, depth, that certain something that makes the value. My cheeseburger was overwhelmed by the bun, the cheese was, IDK, was there even cheese? The beef was dry, like there was not a drop of fat in it. Thankfully the crispy fingerling potatoes took up the slack. My companion ordered the carbonara, and it was a funky grey color. Also the sauce was thin and flavorless. I couldn't put my taste buds on what was wrong with it until the next day. I finally realized there was no egg on the dish. Drinks were fine, service was excellent.
