Ive been a huge fan of Brusters since the day it opened! Done many fundraisingevents with them as my children grew up and Tom (the owner) was always so wonderfulto work with. So when out of town guests come its always a stop at my favoriteice cream place! Here's what I'm going to say: the quality has NEVER CHANGED Ain all these years! It still has a homeade flavor and texture. They use REAL INGREDIENTSlike chunk chocolateand real pistachios and pieces of brownie and crumbled candy! Yeah, Im drooling too just writing this! There are no artificial preservatives added so it tastes REAL (...and yummy) and nothing beats that waffle cone icecream dripping down your arm!

I have an ice cream, butterpecan, in a-sugar cone, and one cup of pistachio almond, yummy

Delicious ice cream with tons of flavors. I got the key lime pie ice cream and it was so good, I started eating before I remembered to take a picture! The employees were friendly and efficient. There is a little outdoor seated area and a drive thru, as well as a walk up window. Ice cream was very flavorful!

Good ice cream place around the area!! Drive through or a walk up Ice cream shop. A lot of different ice cream flavors! You can sample whichever flavor. Apparently on Thursday'a you can bring your own banana and they'll make you a banana split!! Also don't forget about your pups! They have pup cups availab

We love Bruster's and we were happy to discover it when we moved to Jacksonville three years ago. My hubby loves an ice cream cake for his birthday. This year it turned out that it was just going to be the two of us after we spent a long weekend at a resort near by and I realized I had failed to order his cake. Most years we are away and I had not ordered one locally since we moved to Jacksonville. I called Bruster's on Monday afternoon requesting a cake for Tuesday and the owner, Tom, was so accommodating and though they could not make one on that short notice, he had one that worked perfectly. My husband was so happy with this cake and said it was the best ice cream cake he had ever had! They can make lots of combinations accordingly to their menu but need a 48 hour notice. But they do have a nice selection that is ready to go for short notice needs. Tom was so nice and I have shared with lots of friends that they do cakes and they say they didn't know that. I will be ordering all my ice cream cakes from them going forward. Check them out!

Despite it being a chain, we did enjoy trying out Bruster's in JAX recently! What was cool was that we ordered ahead of time and dropped by when our ice cream was ready. There's certainly a ton of flavors, cups, cones, milkshakes, and other options to choose from which was a bonus. The ice cream I got was both creamy and delicious, and they gave a pretty generous amount. Also, it being a few miles from the beach, I was surprised that the prices were reasonable! So definitely give Bruster's a try, it was great!

Fast and friendly service in drive thru. Ordered the hot fudge brownie sundae for my wife and banana split for myself. The brownie was hard on outer edges and banana split had frozen strawberries. Overall pretty good ice cream.

I haven't had Bruster's in almost a decade! There used to be one around the corner from where I used to live and I would take the kids for ice cream after scouts- yes, I did say almost a decade. This visit was with my adult son, who treated me! He wanted ice cream and I thought of a few different places when I remembered that Bruster's was the closest! We parked and approached the front to take a look at all the options and I saw a banana split that looked doable! I haven't had a banana split in years! Eddie opted for a mango freeze and we happily sat and enjoyed our treats. I was told I had to eat 2/3's of mine- because I pre-emptively asked for help. I almost never finish my ice cream- I know, I know- there's something wrong with me. John was so jealous when I told him we went out for ice cream without him! Eddie finished mine and his large freeze with no problem. The girl who helped us was friendly and fast and struggled with the glass sliding door before taking our order- my son was laughing. Later when we were finished eating I failed to mention to Eddie that he had ice cream on his beard as he waved by to the young lady he had earlier laughed about.... That warranted a "MOM!" when he saw his reflection at the car. I figured she didn't need to be the only one embarrassed. Pro-tip: always wipe your mouth after eating ice cream!

It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.

We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, they were phenomenal! Then we both decided on steak for dinner. I got the filet, and ordered it medium rare and it was perfect. My husband ordered the ribeye and his was medium, his was also spot on. Then of course, we had to get dessert. I got the German chocolate cake (this apparently isn't their normal one) and my husband got the dulce cheesecake. The waitress we had was great, and she recommended lots of tips and favorites to try. The only negative thing that I would say is that it's a bit cramped, so it was very loud and hard to hear each other at points. This was an amazing dinner. We will be back

Our waiter, Evan, was very proactive & offered suggestions with menu items. We started with some cocktails, the gentlemen with the cider beer & an old fashioned. I chose a glass of bubbly & the birthday girl had the fizz cocktail. It was incredible with a fresh blackberry puree. We started with the fried green tomatoes & the calamari, both were delicious! Calamari was prepared well and not too chewy. We shockingly each chose a salad: the bistro steak, the chop chop Asian, the goat cheese, and the salmon. Each one was incredible. Mine was the chop chop and I absolutely loved it! It was HUGE and you can bet I ate every single bite. Loved it!' We finished with the brownie topped with ice cream for the birthday girl, it was extremely tasty! Thanks again to Evan for making our night! He was a fantastic waiter! Would absolutely request him in the future.

My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. I probably wouldn't come here again, but if I were in the area I might try some of their other pastries or sweet treats.

The next morning, we had the sausage and scallion bun at home. I liked it, maybe more than the pork bun, and would get it again, though it had the advantage of being reheated at home in the microwave. My wife liked the dough, the hot dog less so (and I must admit the hot dog in the croissant we had a while ago at Cruffin & Tea was better). I'd get this again, though probably trying the regular hot dog bun instead of the scallion one next time. I'd asked the server if she could reheat our items when I bought them, but she said no, and didn't seem to understand English well. So far, I've preferred the savory things to the sweets here. Each item was $3-3.25, so a better value than the other bakeries I go to. I will return to this place periodically, but I still prefer places like Cruffin & Tea and Le Petit Paris, so I'm giving Mai Xiang Garden Bakery an average rating, 3 stars: pretty good, but not above average for a bakery, other than the good value.

It was good, and had more whipped cream in it than the one I'm used to, but I've probably had slightly better examples. For $6, it's not a great value: smaller than the cinnamon roll and not as good. I might get it again, but probably not at that price. This remains one of my favorite bakeries in town, and we'll be back periodically. Update: We tried another cinnamon roll.
